Gaggia MM Burr

My Gaggia grinder has been a million times better than the experiences I have had with 2 different models of Gaggia coffee machines. The grind is consistent, although not having a huge range of grinds can be a little bit of a pain but it has lasted the test of 5 years and 3 house moves and still going strong. It gets used every day and has never broken down, although occasionally gets a bean stuck, but once dislodges works well again. It does seem to let ground coffee fly out of the container whilst you are grinding (through a very small gap) b...

I've had this grinder for about five years - it's a proper burr grinder, which can be adjusted to get the grind just right. I'm particularly happy with the quality of the grinds it produces. However, if you fill the hopper the outlet gets clogged and needs to be unclogged to finish the grind. You have to keep the outlet clean to prevent a blockage from building up. It's also difficult to keep the rest of the unit clean. I damaged the bin of my grinder so grinds escape from it when I'm grinding only adding to the mess (but that's my fault).
