Happy with the service from this Company in California.
I have dealt with Galaxy Perfume and I have also spoken to a representative of the company in California, and the reason was, as I will explain for people in Australia. They are an overseas company but operate all around the world and have an online AU company in Australia. All orders are shipped from America. If you contact them via a email, they in my case replied within days. I also received a phone call from America to sort out the problem I was having. If you are ordering you can expect a delay of up to 4/6wks as all the products have to g...o through customs in Australia. I hope this has helped people in Australia. The company has been operating for about 22yrs. As the operator explained there is always going to be negative blog when they have thousands of also satisfied customers. Just be aware it is an overseas company operating out of California. Jackie in Queensland.
No invoice, no confirmation, no perfume
This looked like an Australian website, but Galaxy turns out to be in California. They sent no confirmation and no invoice, and when I emailed them they estimated that the product should arrive in April, more than 2 months after it was ordered
My terrible experience
I ordered from an an Australian website to find out that it was coming from America and that it could take up to 7 weeks....ARE THEY FOR REAL...i would never have ordered from them if i had known 1)That it was going to take that long and 2)That it wasn't from an Australian company and lastly they would charge me 15% restock fee if i return it....after such bad service
They cancelled my order without notice me until I emailed them after 1 week. In theirs reply, there is nothing but only one sentence: "Order cancelled due to security of the credit card". Then I tried the other card and asked them if it works. the reply from them is still one sentence: "cancelled both orders due to security of the credit card.".
wat you cant say something else and tell me more detail bout what kind of security issue?! So i can fix it.
I am very sure my credit card is fine cause i use my credit card everyday.
My suggestion to new customer: Go to some US site, like "blooming way", "beauty encounter". They are cheaper(include shipping) and great service.

Worst company I have had the misfortune to buy from. Ordered 30ml bottle of perfume, 30ml box arrived with 10ml bottle inside. Total rip off; do not use this company.
After reading the reviews I am going for a refund from paypal I would rather go to Myers and buy my perfume.
I should have realised it was a shonky Asian supplier when I read wait 20 days for delivery.
If you are looking to buy fragrances go to a reputable department store, don't waste your time or money on Galaxy Perfumes
Galaxy Perfume STINKS
I am in Australia and ordered from what pretended to be a local website, with ".com.au" address. This was for my wife's birthday present a bottle of Kenzo Amour. I was amazed when the goods took so long to arrive because they were a USA company and it was posted from Fiji!. My wife missed her present by about 10 days, so it took about 24 days to arrive.
My wife uses this perfume a lot so we were able to test it against the original.
1. The perfume had almost no smell-it was so diluted she had to drown herself in it to even get the merest...
No option for no star
Ordered item on 1 Feb and it's still not arrived. Multiple complaints to the customer service team and they continue to hide from their apparent terms and conditions which state it's ok for a bottle of perfume to take 8 weeks to arrive!! Don't be fooled by cheaper prices, they may never arrive. Only purchased because they appeared to be in Australia, it's all fake!!
By far the worstt site ever !!!
Ordered Tom Ford Vietvier and so far it has not arrived. Have provided a tracking number that still doesnt show any scans. I have filed report with NAB as I suspect this company is a scam or at the very least selling fake products.
They have a 1888 number which is for USA customers.
Do your self a favour and spend the little bit extra from another site and not having to deal with this place.
Save your time and money by simply not purchasing anything from this company.
Their customer service is appalling at best, delivery times out of this world, 30-45 days plus, that is if they have what you have ordered in stock, though they won't tell you its out of stock until after they've taken your money and then when they finally have the stock they sent a watered down version of the product.
Don't waste your time and money.
Absolutely Crap Customer Service And Long Delay In Receiving Goods
Ordered perfume on 30th November, still waiting for delivery, looks like I will not get the perfume before Christmas. Never ever use this company. Dodgy company!!!
Crap customer service, the phone never answers and asks you to leave a message they never respond to. Buyer be aware!
A Rocky Ride Of Communication
I can understand why people would have a bad experience with this company, it's seething with mistakes and bad customer service. Fortunately my products arrived safe and on time. The communication from Galaxy Perfume is appalling. After my initial order was sent through Galaxy Perfume sent me an email 2 weeks later to say it had been dispatched on the 1st Dec. Checking the tracking number provided with the email it clearly stated the package was picked up on 20th Nov and was in Singapore. I emailed them back to let them know the information the...y had was incorrect, and received a cold response back. Obviously this company has some basic internal and integrity issues, nobody really knows what's been sent or when it has been sent. In saying that my order arrived safe and on time and @ a very competitive price so I have to give a 7/10. If they could just figure out these internal communication problems and create other options for postage this would be a cracker company outsourced merchandise or not.
I ordered perfume for a Christmas present Well in advance and two weeks after the fact, I get a call saying the transaction was flagged as fraudulent because the credit card was under my partner's name and not mine! No other online store or website has a problem with this:people buy things with other people's credit cards all the time! The lady on the phone was incredibly rude telling me off for not putting his name as the receiver and demanded his phone number to 'authorise' the transaction. What a ridiculous protocol. I could have given them ...anyone's number. Now it looks like I'll have to wait while for the present to arrive and I too was under the impression this was an Australian website. I agree that the '.com.au' is incredibly misleading. I don't believe I even got an option for airmail! So it doesn't look like this present will arrive in time for Christmas despite ordering a month in advance! Terrible terrible service and incredibly rude staff. I will not be shopping there again.
Service is terribly poor
I purchased a perfume in the beginning of November and received an email that the perfume would be dispatched in a weeks time and it may take up to 2-4 weeks for its arrival - this is a lengthy period of time but because i could not locate this perfume anywhere else and galaxy is the only one who has it in stock i was willing to put up with the waiting game. The money was deducted from my account straight away. It is the 5th of December today and i have still not received my perfume so i emailed them this morning only to have one of their custo...mer service members inform me that the perfume has been out of stock and they were unable locate it anywhere else! They also said its unfortunate that i did not receive the email informing me that its out of stock - what email?? If there was an email, why wasn't my money credited back to my account at the first instance when they realised they could not deliver? I'm absolutely appalled by this behavior and will never order from this site again.
I have used this site three times so far. The first time items bought arrived in reasonable time and the price paid was very competitive. Second time took a little longer. However, the third time I bough an item as a gift it came 6 weeks after they said it would arrive. And only because I had to send them a Lost Parcel Claim Form to get the ball rolling. Use this site with caution. Items came from the US which was confusing as its suppose to be an Australian site.
Terrible, Terrible, Terrible
Bad... very bad. I order from galaxy perfume 1 week out from my wife's birthday. I looked everywhere first for the best price. I choose Galaxy Perfume because I believed they where Australian. i.e. the ".com.au" in the web address. But this is only a cover site for US perfume emporium
1 week later it gets dispatched - Terrible terrible. My wife had no gift from me for her birthday
Then I found out it's coming from America. Not Australia like I thought it would because I thought this was an Australian website and company
3 weeks later I receive my order. 1 month since I ordered and 3 weeks late for my wife's birthday. I will not be ordering from Galaxy Perfume again.

I have used Galaxy perfume a few times. I live in Australia, and know to allow around 6 weeks for shipping. The goods arrive when I expect them and are what I ordered. Will continue to use Galaxy, the shipping rate is good, and as long as you order in advance of when you need the product, yo will be satisfied.

Yes it did finally arrive,after constantly emailing them.

Save yourself the trouble . Do not use this company
They are not good to deal with and when you contact them they keep moving the goal posts, by saying the product will be there in a few more weeks.

Below is an excerpt of an email conversation I had with Galaxy Perfume, which remains unanswered to this day. Obviously customers do not matter to them!
Please see attached email where you did, in fact, state the following:
"Your order will ship within the next 3 to 5 working days via Standard Post and should arrive in 5 to 7 working days after it is shipped."
It would be nice if you could be polite about this rather than stating "We never tell our customers..." as the attached email clearly states this.
Poor and unreliable Customer Service
Ordered Beautiful Perfume for Christmas for my wife on Nov 9th. . On Nov 21st was notified that it had been dispatched on Nov 15th an should be here by 20 working days. Today, Dec 9th still no delivery, but noticed on my bank statement. that full amount was refunded on 28th Nov. I tried the Melbourne number on the web page but given an empty promise of a return call. Happily I have had time to reorder elsewhere.
I am aware that this online seller has had bad reviews, alarm bells started ringing when I did not receive email confirmation of my order. However when I emailed customer series this omission was dealt with very promptly. I ordered Givenchy III which is not easy to get hold of, the order arrived promptly.

Purchased some perfume for my wife as a Mother's Day present. Today is 10 June so have been waiting over 6 weeks and still nothing. First off it took 20 days just to dispatch the perfume. They give the impression they in Victoria when they are overseas. Also you get slugged with an overseas credit card charge. I will never use again.
