Amazing home
When I first walked into the Gallery display home, I was approached by a well presented and professional sales consultant. I initially thought it would be another pressuring sales pitch for a home out of my budget. I instantly loved the display home full of natural light, excellent finishes and loads of storage options. Rebecca the sales consultant works super hard to design the home to meet your needs, understands budgets and working within them and has an incredible knowledge of the construction process. Rebecca spent a lot of time going over...
Read more the process and does what ever she can to make the process easy. Hardest working sales consultant I’ve seen. Gallery’s standard selections are above many other buildings, leaving you not disappointed when it comes to selections. Most standard selections from gallery are expensive upgrades with other builders Jeremy the construction supervisor has an exceptional level of knowledge of your entire build process, is happy to talk through any concerns and is always ontop of what’s happening when you ring him. He works and finishes homes to an exceptionally high standard and makes you feel comfortable during the construction process. Very minor issues with the entire construction process. Absolutely incredible home and service. Jeremy and Rebecca are incredible to work with. Thankyou so much for the support and helping turn a house into a home. Incredible builder, quality home highly recommended!- Customer Service

Designed for your individual needs.
We have a long, thin, triangular property which called for careful planning. We wanted the main rooms to face north capturing the winter sun and the view. (Pointing towards the narrower end of the property). The sales/design person was not at all phased by these challenges and understood what we wanted. We also liked the idea of having a coat nook and media hub and these were immediately included. Lots of cupboards were added, without having to ask (to save my back) and many other changes to the basic design.
Basically:- great designs wit...

Love our new Gallery home :)
Overall our building experience with Gallery Living has been smooth and pleasant. Our sales rep Rebecca was terrific, very easy to discuss all aspects of the build, she helped us to customise our house design to suit our family. She was always very courteous and helpful. Our building supervisor Jeremy was also very easy to work with. He was super organised and efficient, on top of everything all the time. The only disappointment was an extra charge at the end for extra soil removal, which had been taken out of the provisional cost earlier in th...
Read moree process. Would have been much better to leave it in and not get a bill at the end. Lesson learned. That aside, we are very happy with our lovely new home. Workmanship is excellent, from the construction to painting and cabinetry. It’s open and spacious, with lots of natural light and room to move. I’m sure we will be very happy living in it. Can’t wait to move in.- Customer Service

Simple and easy, our dream home!!
After wondering through a lot of the same and similar style display homes, we eventually walked through a Gallery Living Home and were instantly in love. The Miro range was exactly what we were looking for, the natural light, the openess of the spaces and most importantly energy efficient! Our Consultant Rebecca was fantastic to work with, her knowledge of the product and ways to implement our design needs was outstanding. We were also on a budget and Rebecca was honest and straight up with costs and never pushy. In the end we got everything we wanted in the home and couldn't be happier. I'd absolutely recommend Gallery Living and Rebecca to everyone.

They built our dream home!
After moving to South Australia to settle down we never thought we would end up building our dream home but after looking at a few estates we knew building was right for us! Despite some minor nerves, after talking with a few companies we decided to build with Gallery Living due to their uniqueness. We loved the idea of not having a traditional brick house, the use of different materials and especially how they use natural light. We especially loved contributing ideas to the overall design of our house and it’s layout.

Read more quite specific with what we wanted in terms of design and functionality, and our initial consult with Chris was low stress. Chris was very knowledgable, down to earth, honest and listened to our needs and was happy to make adjustments/alternations where necessary. Build Our head builder Richard and his team were hard working and honest. Any questions we had during the build process were always happy to be answered. Just before handover at the walkthrough Richard was extremely thorough, asking us to put tape on anything that didn’t look right and needed immediate touch up or fixing. As he said ‘the more tape the better’, so we walked throughout and around the whole house marking with tape anything that needed attention before handover.- Customer Service

Very happy with Gallery Living. Would use them again in a shot.
We had what we think was a dream run with Gallery Living. We'd actually signed on with a different builder initially (Rendition Homes, highly unrecommended, their initial quote was $X, then we signed on, paid a deposit, and their final quote was $X + $10,000, and they couldn't identify why it had gone up so much, so we walked away from them). Gallery Living itemised the cost of every last thing in the build and Chris, our designer, was an absolutely amazing fellow. So passionate about what he did, he tweaked things until we were perfectly happy...
Read more with it, and found ways to shave of a bit of money here and there as well. Then our building supervisor, Jeremy, was also fantastic. Managed the build so well, sent us regular photos and updates of what would be happening next and when. Very happy with the finish of the house and love living here. We would absolutely recommend Gallery Living to others and would use them again ourselves.- Customer Service

A positive experience with a great result
Our build with Gallery Living was well managed from design to handover. Issues arose, naturally, but were dealt with expeditiously. We felt part of the process from beginning to end.

Loving our Gallery Living home!
What a positive experience with Gallery Living. We visited the display at Aspire and fell in love. The thing we liked the most was that the Gallery home designs were different. We didn't just want plain old bricks and mortar an couldn't walk away without talking to the sales consultant. This is where we met Jade and our journey began. We can't speak highly enough of Jade, from initial discussions right the way through to completion she has been there with us every step of the way. Jade got us, she worked with us to design a floorplan that...
Read more not only suited us but also our budget. Jade's design knowledge and guidance really helped us get the house we dreamed of and we couldn't and probably wouldn't have it if wasn't for her. Once construction had started we were kept well informed by Jon our build supervisor, we made what he probably thinks a million calls to him but he was able to reassure us and answer all questions or concerns we may have had in a timely manner. It is also worth noting that the trades used during the build were excellent as well. We visited the site almost daily when the build started and all of the trades were welcoming, polite and happy to explain what was going on. The final build costs were as estimated, there were a few issues encountered along the way (out of the builders hands, council to blame) but overall the cost of the build was maintained to almost the dollar (actually it was in our favour) which was a relief to us. Once we finally got to handover day, walking through our new home was exciting. The workmanship of the home is excellent and we have since had many trades comment on how straight the walls, slabs and the quality of the paintwork etc are. We have had many people comment on the how well the different materials used looks. We wanted something different and we got exactly what we asked for. Couldn't be happier. Would we recommend Gallery Living? You bet we would, in fact because of this positive experience we are already considering another build. Thanks to Jade, Jon and the team at Gallery for bringing our home to life.- Build StagePost-Construction
Questions & Answers
My husband and I are interested in building with GL but have noticed that the ‘finish’ of the display homes is lacking. We are wondering what people have experienced regarding the build, finish and durability of the gallery living home you’ve built - both short and long term.
To those who are now living in a gallery living home, how are you finding heating and cooling costs? Given the larger windows in these designs, do you find it costs more to air condition in summer and heat in winter? Any positives or negatives you could provide would be appreciate thanks.
We've only been in a short time plus we added solar when we did not have it before. All our windows are double glazed except some louvres so I hope it should be reasonably good.
Imhave only been in my home for 4 months. My windows are also double glazed, except the louvres. I have found the north facing windows keep my northern living areas lovely and warm in winter, compared...

I have not had any permanent heating installed at the moment I have only been using a portable convector heater and my heating costs are low. With the arrival of spring I have found that there is already considerably less direct sun coming through the north facing windows but I am yet to experience a summer in my home.I have found our house to be a lovely warm house in winter, we only had our heating on a minor amount throughout the long winter of 2016.
