    Used for years

    published

I have used this product for years and it gives a great colour, it's gradual, no streaking and it fades off nicely. I am disappointed they seem to have changed the formula now as I can't seem to find this standard one anymore.

really isn't worth it. i like st tropez and palmer cutler a lot better as the colour is more brown i think its better to splash out on a good tan or just not tan rather than going for this one
    easy to apply, nice moisturiser
the colour's orange on my pale skin, looks patchy and fake especially around feet and knees, smells bad, hard to know where you've put it

very orange result, takes forever to dry, turns out streaky and patchy if not applied properly and allowed sufficient drying time, smelly, rubs of sheets

This product used to be worth your dollars. It seems that they have changed the formula in recent years (unless my skin has changed drastically) but now it is very very orange, even a light coat looks that way. It smells nasty, the smell doesn't leave you for days. The last time I used it a few people actually commented on the smell that lingered around me. How embarrasing! Definatly not worth it, not a great product at all. You might as well shell out that extra couple of dollars and get something half decent and doesn't leave you smelling like you haven't showered for a month!
    The price is good
    Smells nasty

Honestly, don't bother. It only gives a light tan and you would be better investing in a gradual toning cream that offers moisture as well. I found this dried out my skin and flaked in big, blotchy patches as it began to come off and fade. The smell is repuslive, too.
A very light tan if you only want to appear less pasty in winter
Doesn't give a really in depth colour, the smell is just disgusting and enough to turn me off using it. Found when it started to fade it left my skin looking blotchy and patchy, really unappealing

Don't do t to yourself, seriously. I applied it out of curiosity (gift) last night, woke up this morning so orange that I was comparable to a footballers wife - but a streaky version. Please, if you value your looks, don't do it.

Btw, I've spent several hours today trying to remove it with everyting from toothpaste to lemon juice and nothing is working. Beware.

Colour is aweful, smell stinks and it's blotchy as hell.

I have been using this reguallary because it has a nice glowing colour for my pale skin. It dries nice and quick too, a quality that is hard to find in tanners.
Just make sure you put the prep time into it. You need to exfoliate very well before applying.
A really nice colour for very light skin.
Beware it will streak if you put it on in a hurry.

overall garnier is as good as they come in my opinionfor self tanning as i have said i do not really like the smell but it is preferable than a lot ofthe others out there and if you make sure that you exfoliate and then moisturise well before you use any tanning product then apply it preferablly after a shower while your body is still warm you should not have any trouble with blotching and lets face it we are much safer with this than sunbaking or solariums.
it gives a great natural looking tan
    i don't like the smell

I would pass on this product. Considering there are so many fabulous products on the market this can not be one that I would consider the best. Its standard. Hard to use at times with unpredictable results. Yuk
This is a great product if used strictly with moderation. One layer is a nice glow
It goes blotchy when added layers are attempted. It also has a pretty intense smell about it. Not the nicest.
