Amazing builder for construction experience.
We had a fantastic build experience from start to finish, from our extremely knowledgeable and highly recommended sales rep Bill Singh who helped us design a beautiful, functional home suitable for our lifestyle, to the final product delivered by our awesome site manager Mark and his team.

this level of service and communication throughout the journey. Any issues, which were minor, were addressed and dealt with efficiently and in a timely manner. The whole process was smooth and rather quick. Before we knew it we picked up the keys for our home and did the final sign off with our super friendly contract administrator Shaye Schofield. We have been in our new home for a couple of months and so far cannot fault the workmanship, quality and personable friendly service we received as Go Homes clients.1 comment

Great service!
Our sales rep Mike was incredible in helping us build our ideal first home and we could not be more thankful for all his help. There were a few delays and disputes, but Mike and the team resolved them instantly. Katherine and Shaye in admin were tremendous from the get go in guiding us through the process.
The construction process was made easy thanks to Deb and our site supervisor Mark, who were both just sensational throughout the entire build. Their experience and expertise was second to none and we couldn't be happier with the result of the house. I would highly recommend GoHomes and put it in the same category as Redink Homes.

We found Go Homes from the very start, display consoultant Ryan who was just amazing and helped get the drawings of our new home right and to Shaye who kept us up to date with the things we needed to know about foward to prestart meeting with Bethany who was very helpful and knowledgable andy the Lass from electrical who was also knowlegabl. Well then there was Kendall, words don't do him justice he was onto everything, we have built a few homes and we can honestly say that he would have to have been one of the very best surpervisors we have had 100%. - online portal makes thinks handy: your past, current (including photos) and future progress are tracked here, all documents are uploaded here and contact list, you can make selections here as well and visualize it using 3D model.

BAD: - It is not really bad for those only after low price but don't mind the options provided. You really don't have much choices for hardwares, almost everything cost extra. - This is the most important part, you need to be really really patient and forgiving between the period after you signed the contract and commence of your home construction. Things can be quite annoying. I mean, to be realistic, low cost doesn't always come with the best service, as long as the house is good to live in at the end.1 comment

This is amazing journey
This is our very first house and we were so worried because we have no idea how to deal with the building process. Fortunately, we found the most beautiful house out of all display house we saw and the cost of the house is super affordable. The Go home team is so helpful and guide us from day 1 from pre-start to key handover. They came back and checked if anything wrong with our house. Such a pleasant journey with Go homes. Just finished construction on our new home, and very happy with the finished product. Besides the lengthy process for getting council approvals which GO Homes dealt with efficiently, the build was completed on time. Go homes where great from start to finish
I had a great experience with go homes from start to finish. We dealt with Neil Boyd on design and house and land package. He was first class.
We found the app extremely helpful and kept us up to date on what stage or build was at. With photos.
The site supervisor was also very approachable and helpful as of the employees we dealt with in the office.
We would and will be recommending go home to friends and family.

Good service
Pre-start was good however there were some things which we were told were free upgrades but our sales rep told us we had to pay for. Told them we saw the flyers in their homeroom and they stopped trying to get us to pay for the free upgrade. (I would say this isn't a reflection of the company but an individual).
The build went smoothly, there were a few small issues but when I sent a request about it they were rectified in a timely manner.
The brickie was rude, during the first meeting. 1 wall was extremely out and he told me "It's a damn wal...Read more
l". The wall was pulled down and rebuilt. During PCI a lot of small things were not picked up, but were only picked up due to my hiring a building inspector. Structurally my house is sound. Cost was good and what I paid for.1 comment

EXCELLENT! 2nd home built, Cannot FAULT. 5 STAR!
My wife and i have struggled to get finance for the last 5 years due to banks/lenders not co operating with younger families like mine. I have 4 children and to get them into our home was very difficult.
5 Years of Renting was a terrible chapter in our lives but we finally started to budget, save more money and try build another home for our family.

Tallal is a superstar!
Updates on the GoHomes portal are regular, all documents, plans and photos of the progress of the build were on the portal. Workmanship was excellent, the build was better than we pictured. Tallal listened to our needs and delivered exactly what we asked for. We built at the Iluma Estates in Bennett Springs. Start of construction to finish took about 7 months. No hiccups in between and we visited the site religiously almost every weekend. Very happy with the outcome of what is hopefully our forever home. Highly recommend GoHomes and Tallal to friends and family.

CONS: - Terrible pre-start experience. Our consultant [name removed] was so impatient she sighed on us the whole time while we were trying to make decisions. She didn't have the patience to help us with making selections nor made suggestions on additions for our home. It felt like we were rushed to make decisions so that her job is over and done with. We just felt so pressured and uneasy the whole time! - GO homes didn't provide us any information about what to prepare and look for prior to prestart. So when we were there, the prestart lady didn't want to help us and acted like we should know everything. SO while we scramble through products trying to discuss between each other, going on google to search for product information, she sat there at her computer sighing the whole time and making us feel stupid. - Admin [name removed] is TERRIBLE. They got our name spelt wrong the whole time, which we didn't mind at first, but they asked us to check if our information on the contract was correct, which our names weren't so we informed them, and they ignored it, continue on making variations of names for us in all emails and all contracts!!!!! HORRIBLE! When we finally met at the prestart to sign the contract, [name removed] was horribly rude to us and acted like we owed her and that her job is forced upon her. - Site supervisor a. Aircon was not blowing air at all even though it was on the highest setting, but site supervisor insisted there is air! We argued about it, ended up holding up a tissue against the aircon just to prove our point. He said he'd try, but he insisted there's strong air flow, but ended up getting it fixed and the air flow now is much stronger. Overall, it was disappointing and the process was very tiring because the customer had to do their job. I honestly hope you take our feedback seriously as these takes time to typed out. I could just let it slide and let you make the same mistakes again and again. Look us up on your system, you'll know I am not even exaggerating for abit. They all happened! Building companies are so competitive nowadays, other companies have better customer support then go homes as I heard from my friends who are also building, I'll recommending everyone against going for go homes anymore.3 comments

Seamless from Start to Finish

Positive First Time Build Experience
GO Homes right from the outset was willing and happy to work with us on the design and budget aspects that we were wanting in our home resulting in a home that is uniquely ours. In doing this GO Homes liaised with our local council on many issues to achieve what we were wanting and to problem solve any anomalies that arose in areas such as site works and boundaries. Our pre-build process did take longer than expected however we realise this is because of the things we were requesting and changing. The admin staff are always friendly and helpful...Read more
. The online portal for pre-selections was great and really helped create colour schemes. We did feel that out pre-start experience fell a little short but only due to the consultant having to leave because of illness, it was an unforeseen circumstance. Our building supervisor had a high expectation and standard for inspecting works completed and seeked the best solutions to any issues/complications, his only concern was handing over a house that we were happy with and met all standards. We did run into a slight oversight in our retaining wall which was identified after handover, the team were quick to address this and apply the most practical fix. Our final cost was unchanged from what was signed off and overall GO Homes delivered us a home that we are proud to call ours.1 comment

Good experience for first home built :)
As a first home built our journey was pretty good and without any hassles. I was bit scared at the start regarding the built but all the issues were handled and resolved quite well. My final cost did exceed the estimated cost but not by huge amount .. overall I m quite satisfied .

A stress free 1st home
Building can be overwhelming - but GO homes took that and left us with an easy stage by stage process which left us at ease. The communication we received was constant and informative . We had one or two tiny bumps towards the end but they were handle super efficiently. We build bang on the button of what was estimated .

Hi , what is the time frame for a building contract to be drawn up?

It was more than a year ago when I signed my contract. But based on my rough memory, it was about 2-3 weeks to get the building contract.
Thanks, the builder told us 6wks, now their saying another 4 was, it’s just doesn’t seem right.
