Frustrating and a painful experience throughout the process, no commitment on commencement of Works.
No commitment on commencement of work after 6 months of signing the contract and 12 months from signing the prelim contract. No transparency, poor communication and no commitment to any work are only a few out of many other trade-offs. Also, look out for other companies they shares resources with.
It gets worse and worse
We keep going with this HORRIBLE company yet we keep getting charged more and more!! We asked if we needed something for the house and we were told NO and they removed it off of our plans. Now, that we’re into scheduling it come up that the house is MISSING what we had brought up and now it needs to be added. Pushing our timeframe back AGAIN!!! And adding MORE out of pocket costs that can’t be added to the loan.
So many useless staff, can’t even understand proper English. Can’t keep ontop of paperwork and have no idea what they’re even doing. Can GO Homes actually confirm that the people they hire have any qualifications????
Never ever build with GO HOMES
we will be getting lawyers involved.
Outstanding service. Very impressed
From the time my husband and I decided to build a home, Puneet Goel, New Homes Consultant, has been such an incredible blessing to us. Puneet located the perfect block for us - in the right location, a fantastic corner block and not too small. Having no building experience, Puneet has enthusiastically assisted us to select the most appropriate plans, going above and beyond the call of duty, meeting with us in the evening and spending hours advising and assisting us with his expert selections. We could not be more impressed with his competency a...nd efficiency - responding to emails and liaising with the developer on our behalf within minutes, facilitating our securing finance through his most adept contacts, following up continually. It is an absolute pleasure working with Puneet. He is very professional, experienced, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We are fortunate to have him as our representative. We highly recommend Puneet. He is an outstanding asset to GoHomes.
Perfect choice - Quality build and reasonable pricing
We chose Go Homes after considering 5-6 other builders. We primarily chose Go Homes because of the Sales consultant - Neil Boyd. We cannot be happier in making that decision. Neil is a world class professional and extremely helpful. Neil educated us about all phases of the building process and was just a phone call away whenever we wanted , whatever be the reason and time. He accommodated all changes that we requested for.
PreStart day - stressful as it can be. Meeting with the electrical dept was also on the same day.
Construction period - It...

If you're wanting to feel valued build here!!
I had a wonderful time building with Go Homes!! Tallal Marouff was my builder and he guided me not only professionally but also personally in my journey of building my first home. I felt like I was his highest priority and like I was the only client he had even though I knew he had many. Tallal helped me have a stress free journey and I am extremely grateful for his work and character. I would highly recommend Tallal to my friends and family! Please carefully consider GO Homes when building your dream home!
Lack of professionalism and poor customer service
Lacks of professionalism, transparency, organisation and customer service. Delays at every turn, lacks of accurate communication and just poor performance all round. They hide any feedback that does not paint them in a good light. Take long time to response you. No progress since the first PCI when house is nearly ready for hand over.
Tallal has helped me through my journey of building my house. We are currently in the first quarter of building and it has been amazing and super helpful :) All involved have helped with every step of the way and how really understood my financial situation and have spoken with me about absolutely everything! Thanks to Tallal and the go homes team! I can’t wait to get into my new home!
Had enough and not even at construction stage yet..
Our first impressions of Go Homes was outstanding. We started our journey with a wonderful sales representative who went out of his way to help us start our building process.
Then we moved to our Pre-Start appointment with great excitement. We were well prepared for this meeting but unfortunately the same can not be said about our contract administrator. From this point our journey went sour.
We made sure all of our quotations that was asked for ( Tiles, carpets, blinds, kitchen cabinets and countertops) was done in advance but it seemed that...they were not even looked at. The CA was not prepared. We walked out of that meeting feeling extremely confused and worried. It seemed like she had very little knowledge of the Company and it's products. The lack of correspondence was shocking, waiting a week on occasions just for a response on a question. Just to mention a few things: We asked if we can change the 900mm oven to 2 X 600mm ovens. One week she said yes with no additional cost, the next week no, we need to pay $1579.
Great experience - great customer service
My journey started when I walked into a display home I feel in love with. That’s where I met Neil Boyd and he took me through all of the house features and answered all of my questions. Not once did I feel obliged to sign up, rather I felt I was being taken care of. The deal Neil offered me was really great and the more times I saw the home (yes, I visited the display several times!) and saw myself in a home just like it. So my building experience began. The build itself was a good experience, and there was only very minor things to fix at the ...final inspection (a wonky tap handle and programming of the garage door). The build did take longer than the guaranteed 24 weeks, which was frustrating but my building supervisor gave me regular updates on when he predicted the house would be ready. Overall, I had a good experience and would definitely build with Go Homes again :)
The best part of our build experience with go homes was the saleman [Name Removed], he gave 110%. Unfortunatley the rest of the process was terrible, from trying to get information from the construction consultant and the site supervisor to the appalling finishes. Its been a long journey and at 34 weeks from pad down we're not at handover yet.

Absolutely shocking experience paid our deposit in June still no working drawings cash buyer owned the land told we had a head start and here we are January nowhere we did our Prestart 11th December and it’s still not sorted, we even had all the drawings from our first builder who went into liquidation they sometimes don’t even acknowledge emails or return phone calls. Choose your builder wisely February 2nd the blatant lies just go on and on. NINE MONTHS TOMORROW and still no slab down they cleared to block the incompetence of the sales team have cost us thousands 8th April slab was supposed to be down just another lie this company is the worst of the worst
Happy first home owner
From the moment we signed up with Neil Boyd it has been absolutely amazing. He helped us figure out what we wanted and how we could best achieve it. He was very quick to give us feedback on the cost of variations which definately helped us with the planning. We we were helped by Shaye as our contract administrator and she was absolutely all over the job, always having quick replies to our questions and always kind. She made it all very easy. Then COVID hit and our prestart meeting didnt go as per plan and had to be done over the phone due to re...strictions. I really feel like because of this we missed out on a lot of options and there definately is a few things I wouldve done differently if I was given the option. Our prestart only took a few hours and we felt very pushed to sign off on it. After this the building began and I do have to say Cassie (Construction consultant) and James (builder) did an absolute amazing job and we are very happy with the quality of our home. Any minor issues were solved very quickly. And the build finished nicely in time before Christmas. Thank you so much to all people I have mentioned in this review to make building our first home almost stress free and thank you Neil for the housewarming gift.
Moved in exactly a year from purchasing land, pretty straight forward process, very happy with our first home!
Pros: 25-week guarantee from slab-down was fulfilled, minor issues that were fixed immediately, free dishwasher courtesy of Mr. Neil Boyd (genuine guy, much respect) real-time updates via online portal, reasonable options and cost of build, tiles beautifully done, gorgeous paint job, various upgrades and discount with paving included (thanks Brickmakers), housewarming gift from Go Homes when we got our keys, upcoming free 6-month maintenance and 25-year building warranty! We moved in weeks before Christmas, couldn’t be happier!
Cons: Minor ele...ctrical issues which left a wall with some accidental damage when they sent some tradies to fix them, hope they sort it out soon. Special mention: Thanks to Mr. Neil Boyd for being honest, considerate and generous of his time. Go Homes is lucky to have him represent their company and I say this with utmost sincerity. Thank you to Ms, Joan from Crosby Tiles for being so helpful. You’re a godsend. Thanks to Jim, our trusty building supervisor for making sure everything looked spotless before our move. And for the tradies who literally built our home, thank you so much for a job well done! We’re going to enjoy our first Christmas in our new home because of you all! We’re feel very lucky for choosing Go Homes as our builder!
Great value inclusions and service
We are building our dream home with Go Homes. Our experience so far has been great. We found Gail to be very approachable, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We were able to design the home to suit our needs and the inclusions we got are excellent; great value for money. Probably the best inclusions for the price. Furthermore, Emma was our Prestart consultant. She was also very approachable and tried her best to get our home ready for construction within a reasonable timeframe. Very excited to see the home finished! Thanks to everyone at Go Homes.
Has been a long journey to signed contracts in the pre- construction phase due to this grant incentive environment that we are currently in causing significant delays and frustrations! However the sales consultant Gail from GO Homes was exceptional in always being there to answer all queries I had and explained rationale behind what was happening and why which I thoroughly appreciated. Communication is key and setting expectations is crucial to an overall happy customer experience which I could not fault her. She was also instrumental in helping me finalise my house design which is fit for purpose.
Questions & Answers
Hi , what is the time frame for a building contract to be drawn up?
It was more than a year ago when I signed my contract. But based on my rough memory, it was about 2-3 weeks to get the building contract.
Thanks, the builder told us 6wks, now their saying another 4 was, it’s just doesn’t seem right.
Due to incredibly high demand, it is definitely taking us a little longer to process contracts than it did a year ago. Please be assured that our number 1 priority right now is ensuring all our current sales are processed through administration in time to meet stimulus eligibility requirements for our clients.
If you could provide your job number we'd be happy to take a look at your specific job and provide an update.
The GO Homes team
At what point does your ‘24 week construction timeline’ start? When the file moves to construction? When the slab is down?
And why won’t you provide the key miles stone dates from the build schedule to your clients to assist them in their planning?
Thank you for reaching out!
We pride ourselves on our build quality and commitment to deliver for our clients.
As your question appears to relate to a specific job file, are you able to please contact us at email@example.com with your job number so we can look into this matter for you?
Thanks. However, there should be a definitive response to this regardless of the job file number and therefore shouldn't need looking into...
As every job is different, it is difficult to provide exact dates without knowing the exact project details. But we do strive to have clear and open communication with our clients to keep them in the loop with the many stages of their building process.
If you can provide us with your job number via email, we will be able to give you an answer specific to your build.
We look forward to hearing from you.
I would appreciate knowing if you would be able to organise a meeting with us on Monday even though your display homes do not open Mondays
