Older Go Pro
Still, no reason why these aren't viable to use, yes they aren't newest gen tech etc, however, video quality could be worse still able to use underwater. the disadvantage of the case not being detachable. Positive of this though being waterproof 24/7.
Great for left alone and let record.
No viewfinder or preview, however, can be connected via wifi and viewed making this not a big issue.
Go Pro still are the leaders of action cameras and there's no reason older models can't be used. Unless they need perfect quality for a reason.
I have had a few different models of the GoPro since it was first released. The price/value on the Hero+ is unbeatable BUT be careful - The plastic case and the camera are ONE UNIT ! You break the case / mounting bracket / button or back hinge and you are in trouble. Another minor issue is the battery appears to be concealed/locked in the unit so you can't interchange if you have spare batteries from other GoPro's. As we all know rechargeable batteries don't last forever so i'm guessing this cheap little GoPro will Go into the bin once the batt...ery reaches the end of it's life...but i'll cross that bridge when we get to it. Otherwise a cheap and worthy investment into the world of GoPro. On the flipside if you do manage to destroy, lose or have your GoPro stolen your only $170 out of pocket instead of $500+ for other models.
