We purchased the grotime caboodle changeover kit back in 2015. The overall product has been fantastic from bassinet, cot and now to single bed. Unfortunately since purchase the Australian standards for single bed size jas changed and upon contacting the grotime company they have kindly replaced our existing changeover kit to the newer size to fit and comply to the current standards. Grotime have been incredibly easy to deal with and has made thr transition easy for us.
Good solid cot
This is a good solid cot, larger and heavier than average with a high quality paint finish.
I have used this cot for my child for many years and love the Rollover concept of being able to convert a cot into a single bed. It would of been even better if they had included the plastic teething rail protectors.
One other minor issue is the floor protectors/ legs stickers could of been done much better by using screw on plastic legs.
This is a wonderful cot but we bought it in 2011 - as a converted single bed it didn't fit the new mattress sizes but Grotime will send out a new base to fit the new mattress size which is fantastic customer service! Thank you Grotime. I'm very happy that you are happy to help me.
Love this bed
We have bought 2 Rollover cots for or kids, they have been great in the cot and daybed stages and now in the single beds they are looking stylish and I expect the kids to enjoy them for many years to come.
Easy to assemble and convert at the different stage.
Good cot but could be better
We've been using this cot for around a year now. Our daughter has been sleeping in it from about 5 months old. The mattress position can be adjusted up and down to allow for age of child.
It's a nice, sturdy and comfy cot, we got a latex mattress for it (separately) and our bub loves sleeping in it. The side comes down allowing easy access. We have it in white, it's painted in Twopac type of paint so looks really nice.
When our daughter was teething she nibbled her way around the cot rail and the sides, and the paint came away reasonabl...y easily which is not great. We bought a separate plastic piece to cover the cot rail, but she still managed to bite the sides of the cot and chip some paint off. Unfortunately, after a only few months, the mechanism that allows the side to be lowered, has become quite sticky and difficult to use. I called Grotime on the number provided on the packaging and left a message, but had no response - which is quite disappointing considering it's a premium product. Overall it's a good product and will last us for years as it can convert to toddler bed later on.
We have been very happy with this cot. Our daughter has slept in this cot from birth and now uses it as a toddler bed. We bought this cot after our son used the Grotime Sleepover right up to converting it to a single bed. We were disappointed when we attempted to convert it to a single bed and realised that a standard australian single matress didn't fit the dimensions. However upon contacting grotime about this issue they have offered to send us a conversion kit, free of charge which is fantastic customer service.
Great nursery set for baby to older child
We purchased the Rollover cot, Kimberly change table drawers, bedside table and the drawer/bookcase for our son in 2010. We were drawn to this model of cot as it converts from cot to toddler bed to full sized single bed, therefore alleviating the need to purchase another bed when the time came and justifying the slightly higher initial expense. The nursery set has also been used for my daughter, who will now inherit it as her bedroom suite. The only issues we have had with the cot were the sliding side - it was very noisy, required two hand ...operation and we had to rebuild the cot several times as the side fell out of the sliding mechanism rendering it stuck in the up position, and as it was purchased in 2010 the Australian single bed size had changed therefore meaning the side rails we had were too small. Grotime were very understanding when contacted regarding this issue, explained the situation and offered to send out, free of charge, the new longer single bed conversion rails. Although we had some issues, I would thoroughly recommend this cot and matching nursery set and I would hope that some improvements have been make to new models to alleviate some of these issues.
We purchased this cot for our first born, bub is still on the way. Looking forward to using it. We love how sturdy it is, nice clean lines as well. We are so happy with how versatile it is. We are so Excited!!!! We bought a white cot for unisex.
The fact that it converts into so many things.
Great saving of infant to kids bedding
The cot was easy to assemble with excellent written instructions. The product has a high quality finish & is very sturdy.I love the fact that the cot can be transformed into a full single sized bed which will save us money but unfortunately the bed base rails were short. Grocorp has been very understanding & will send new base rails which is great.
Cot convertible to single bed
Fantastic cot, not so when turned into single bed
Fabulous and attractive looking cot, but when it was time to convert the cot to a full size single as was advertised the mattress did not fit the bed frame. This was one of the main reasons for purchasing this cot. Contacted Grotime, they were very prompt with my enquiry and explained the reason why and will happily replace the bed rails.
Attractive looking cot and bed
When it was time to convert the cot to a single bed the mattress does not fit
Changing with the times
The Rollover Cot's key selling feature is that it converts from an infant cot through to a full size single bed. We purchased ours in mid 2010. We have loved this cot through its first three phases (bassinett height, toddler height, toddler bed). It is the heaviest, most sturdy cot we have seen and we had absolute confidence in it during some rugged toddler times. We liked it so much we purchased the similar Grotime Sleepover Cot for our second child in 2012 (the Sleepover is a bit narrower and quite a bit lighter- the head boards are not as ...thick). We have however, recently (jan 2014) hit a snag changing the Rollover to a single bed. Our bed rails were not long enough to accomodate our nice expensive single Sealy matress. To make matters more confusing, my friend's version of the Rollover which she purchased a few months BEFORE me, converted to accomodate a standard single matress just fine. When assembled her bed was about 10cm longer than mine. A call to Grotime shed light on this. Apparently the National standards for the length of a standard single matress changed around 2010. Grotime changed the specs for the Rollover around 2010 to reflect the increasing size of the single. My friend has a new model Rollover, I apparently have the old model Rollover. Who received the old and new specs of the Rollover apparently depended on the stock levels of the various retailers. Bad luck for me I guess. It is dissapointing that the Retailer who sold me my cot in mid 2010 did not have the knowledge or care to reasonably predict that the product they sold that proudly said "conforms to Australian and NZ standards" would not strictly be true by the time the cot was converted to a single bed. The good news is at Grotime has a range of solutions to help the Rollover (C29) convert to a single bed. Call them for help. They are local and I have found their customer service to be responsive. very very sturdy construction. Safe. Good quality. Converting to single bed problematic in 2010 model
Quite satisfied so far
We're happy with grotime product since we had our first Turin that was quickly outgrown by our son. So we bought the largest Rollover for him as well as it for long term investment with full size single bed conversion option. It cost more at the beginning as initial investments as we also got the grotime latex mattress and now we're planning to turn it as single bed so we'll see how it goes as "new bed" for our toddler.
so far we're happy with the product design and durability as cot, hopefully turn out the same as it will be as full size singl...
Quality product that I would highly recommend!!
I purchased the high quality Grotime Cot & matching Change Table (Walnut in colour) not only does it look the goods but the quality / look of the product is frequently commented on my friends and family. Recently I contacted Grocorp about this product in reply they went far and beyond their call of duty. I had damaged the product during a move & Rodney from Grocorp gave excellent Customer Service as I said way above & beyond what is expected and for this I thank the company very much. Having worked in Customer Service myself in the past I know it's hard to find good assistance times especially in times of need. Thanks heaps :)
Durability & Quality
We've been really happy with this cot - as a cot, then toddler bed and now 'big bed'. It's a generous sized cot, comfy and my son loves it. It has made for a happy transition from cot to bed because it's still his bed and he has loved being involved in converting it each time.
Big cot, converts to bed
Rails to convert to single bed were too short but Grotime is replacing them for me.
Great cot which I can use from birth onwards. Wont take up valuable shed space because I will always be using it.
It does seem to mark easy. The first cot I purchased was damaged, however grotime was great and replaced the damaged ends
use from birth onwards

Im having issues taking the drop down side off when dismantling, is there a trick?
What is the difference between the Grotime Rollover and the Grotime Pearl?
Im not too familiar with the grotime pearl sorry guys. The grotime roll over i believe is the cot to bed but we have the caboodle which included the change table attached to cot which when it changes to bed the change table becomes two bed side tables
Can you please tell me if the cot has a drop down side?
