Fisher & Paykel do the warranty for Haier (their parent company) and refused to acknowledge responsibility for the failure of our fridge which caused $9,000 damage to our kitchen.
Our Haier fridge used a $2 plastic connector fitting for the water inlet. After less than 18 months this connector failed without warning and our kitchen, with a reasonably new laminate floor, was flooded, as well as the electrics in the rear of the fridge being sprayed with water.

OK I have one of their smaller Air Cons. It works. There is massive room for improvement in terms of really cooling the compressed gas - which does make a huge difference at 45*C... (spray water on the condenser coils).

But the gist of the issue is that they put the make, model, serial numbers etc., in super fine 1/2mm high fonts, on stickers, that are located in hard to reach places....
