Top Quality, not sure about value for money
I had Hansa mixer taps installed when the house was built around 14 years ago. They are almost works of art and a weekly wipe over with some Windex keeps them glistening. They have always performed well, being easy to turn on or off or adjust and I would recommend them to anyone contemplating building a new home or replacing existing tapware. Unfortunately the mixer on the right hand basin in the upstairs bathroom (probably the most used tap in the house) recently started to drip water in the cupboard underneath. I finally located the source of...the leak, it was coming from the underside of the tap body (one of the connecting pipes). It may have been that there was corrosion with the solder - not sure, but I am not confident in re-soldering something like this and there seems to be no ready source or company that refurbishes taps. A new tap was the answer. My model, being over 14 years old was no longer available and the closest in looks and size was the model of this review. I am still considering whether to spend another $450-500 on the same model for the left hand basin or just live with two basins with similar but different tap models.
