If you want to feel unwelcome in a home you are renting, rent from these guys. Watching them set up an office in Byron Bay and then close it because nobody in this town wants to lease from such a soul-less company was quite satisfying. Would be great if they just went out of business. Do not buy a house from this company.
A 'do not care' company
Have had constant issues with Harcourts delivering junk mail to my letterbox despite me having a large NO JUNK MAIL sign displayed. Despite the assurances that it wouldn't happen again, it did. Hilariously I was told that it was delivered by accident and it couldn't be retrieved from my locked letterbox - funny that my letterbox doesn't have a lock and anything could be taken out of it easily...Asked the company for the name of the delivery company but was ignored, took the question to upper level management of Harcourts Qld and the CEO - NO RESPONSE...That is a poor look for Harcourts...
Worst rental experience ever-Harcourt Boronia
While I am renting, the landroad always came with property manager for routine inspection and always complained about mowing. It is quite annoying. They finally took away some money from my bond.

Harcourts Vermont South are Highly unprofessional, rental department and Director refuses to respond to repeated requests to have bond refunded - not because of any contest to the condition of the property- but they “forgot” to inform the RTBA of their change of business number in 2019. Will now need to go through VCAT to have this issue resolved.
Worst rental experience ever - Harcourts Broadwater
Unknown people on property many times without permission, (Property Manager Lauren just said fill out a breach form). Half property was damaged by floods and became unlivable, owner wouldn't reduce rent at all, said we could move out if we weren't happy. Leasing Manager Peter held an open inspection for re-renting, letting himself and the public in without even notifying us of a time, whilst we were still paying full rent!

Alistair and Dimitri are the worst individuals i have dealt with for my third property hunt. Offered unwanted attitude when asked feq questions on the day of inspection and again offered unwanted advise when i offered what i thought is appropriate.Young idiots like them clearly put off the experience of house hunting.
Undermining buyers of what they know about area clear shows their fat egos.
You need subtle and humble approach when do public dealing.

Property management department seems overworked. Property managers do not use after hours authorisation s to reduce property damage. They only allow ten minutes for tenancy inspections. They are intimidating to property owners. The fees charged are too high. Far too high when a person considers the loss of value due to property management negligence. No wonder information provided by the ATO to Parliament shows self managed super funds showing losses of greater than 5 percent.
Terrible service from Joondalup Harcourts
If there was an option to give 0 stars, this would be my rating for Joondalup Harcourts, if id known and listened to others regarding dealing with this agency, i wouldn't be in this predicament.

I have rented thru agencies before but they don't consider that other's time can be precious too. I submitted the application with 21 different documents and they called me to say that my police check was more than a year old and if I apply for a new one, send them the receipt, they will start my application, I paid for it and sent the receipt and after all that, I got an email from them that they have VARIOUS pending applications and won't progress with my application.
Why on the earth, they asked me to get the check if they even didn't want ...
Glen Waverley Harcourts RE twice did the same trick to us, a rental property went on advertisement, no inspection times set yet, weeks to go for available date and all of a sudden the property goes away to someone else to rent and not available anymore, they did this to me twice and certainly very angry , and they are very comfortable doing secret arrangements instead of giving all interested people enough chance, its terrible annoying disgusting service, No deal with Harcourts ever again..
Very Intrusive and Annoying
Unnecessary frequent house inspections; sending in tradies to get quotes for aircon installation, carpet renewal and painting etc while we are still in the property when the lease wasn't even close to expiry. When they know we're moving out, the agent can't wait to arrange house inspections and only gave us 2 days notice before open inspection to new tenants. I mean most properties managed by other agents are available for inspection when they are vacated. It's really annoying that we have to get out of our way to organise the house and find somewhere to spend the day when they send in random tradies and visitors constantly.

Was looking at renting a property thru harcourts Ballarat cant believe what a unprofessional and horrible business they are the director is a liar and tries to belittle the tenants will do anything for extra money if you have amazing references Peter ludbrook will accuse you of sleeping with the people who give the references ! Be careful dealing with this brokerage
Attempted to purchase a property through Martin Kovak who is an agent at Harcourts Coastal. He rushed us into signing a contract without explaining the ramifications of it or giving us relevant information. As a result we lost some money and have referred the matter to Fair Trading and ACCC. Be cautious dealing with this brokerage when listing or buying a house as they are as dodgiest I've dealt with in all my years of real estate investing.
Negative renting experience
I spent 15 months renting from south coast harcourts whilst my house was being built.
No maintenance was ever carried out when requested and when I tried to negotiate a small extension on my lease due to my build, they would come at nothing shorter than 9 months (despite having fulfilled a 12 month lease). We had Hardcourts Victor Harbor look after our rental property for two years. To my disbelief we were left with tenant belongings, evidence of a dog on the property eg scratched glass sliding door, non matching paint in our laundry, a sabotaged toilet, and an embarrassed carry over manager doing his best to tackle the mess before we arrived. I could not speak and just left. How can a big real Eastgate company not see the obvious. Also, get this after knowing all of the above they rented out another property to the same scum.
Please be extra cautious when you Rent from Carlingford Harcourts
I had a pathetic situation with them and they didn't have a minimum respect when a customer is talking and they say what they want and they disconnect the phone. They don't even understand the emergency situation and I would say they damn care about maintenance stuff, so please think twice before you rent with Carlingford Harcourts.
Beware Of Renting From Harcourts Caloundra
I have found Harcourts Caloundra and its owner, to be incapable of ascertaining correct facts regarding a complaint made to them.
It started by the business manager being provided with a message on her mobile which requested further details and inspection, regarding a property rental in Caloundra, which as it turns out is owned by the business owner.
The manager was also requested for this information via her online form facility.
Neither of the two contacts were responded to, and consequently I made a 1 star review on Google Reviews ...of Harcourts Caloundra for others to be aware of this bad business practise that I had encountered. The Business owner responded to my review by essentially saying that no mobile message had been received and no online form inquiry had been received, and requested that I provide proof of the mobile and website contacts.
