shocking quality, made out of $5 sheets from target. Colour fade after first wash to a blue/black. The last few things I've got from hard yakka don't last.
I have had many boots in my time but never had a pair that only lasted 6 Months l will never bye Hard Yakka again.
I bought a pair of Hard Yakka bib and brace overalls from Australian Only. I was hoping they were going to be of similar quality to the King Gees that I lived in for some years. Sadly in less than six months the fabric has literally started to disintegrate, with the edges of the pockets threadbare and torn and holes in the knees and other quite low stress areas. I have worn them around the house in Lockdown and hardly exposed them to the level of stress that you'd expect overalls to cope with. Very disappointed.

I was using size 32 in FXD brand fit perfect with Good stretch. Went to a store that only had hard yakka so tried on 32 and they were way too small so I got 34 which were OK fitting. Had for a couple of months now they have stretched so much but still that tight around the leg/ crouch area. Have thrown them out and will never buy again.

Don't waste your money on a product that looks great but under delivers on performance.
Worst pair of boots for construction I've owned in over 10 years. Bought less than 2 months ago and the heel has already lost it's cushion. Wouldn't recommend them. Very disappointed.

Bought the 3056 workboot which fitted perfectly after trying on at least 7 or 8 other brand boots.. I have weird shaped foot...
And after 3 months they are still as comfortable as they were brand new, but
the zipper on each boot falls down and needs pulling up at least 10 times a day, needs to be captured up the top somehow,
I’m sure it’s not just my 3056 boots that do this, so irritating feeling like yr boot wants to come off all day

Pockets: 1 out of 5.
Very poorly designed pockets. The extra pockets that are supposed to be used as a nail bag are awkward. When you put the extra pock in the inner pocket to keep them out of the way they make you hot. All the pockets get dust in them. If you cut the extra pockets off you don't have enough pockets even for a phone.
Stitching and Velcro: 3 out of 5.
The stitching has all held to end of life. The Velcro lasted on all the pants I had for about 2 weeks then became a gaping whole that fills with dust.
Fit and comfort: 3 out of ...
Read more5. They come in three different fit lengths which is good, this means the knee pads are always under your knee. Comfortable wise they don't stretch much which can make them feel tight after being hot and sweaty. Material: 5 out of 5.Got the boots out of the wardrobe this morning and they fell to bits before the day was half way through.
Tag says "Made in China" which says a lot!
Good old Aussie made Rossi boots for me! I have worn them around China and Russia without a problem - even pointing out to a tour guide how good Australian made products were when his footwear was soaked from the wet weather.
Thought this Australian company would also produce good gear bit bitterly disappointed.
Might have to take to Standards Authority! Or was the tag just a con?

Work pants holed and ripped after three days normal wear!! Quality is poor! Try to get a fair resolution from the customer service online store...child birth was easier! They make you jump through hoops, i had to fight for a refund through Paypal in the end as Hard Yakka seem to think they are above the law when it comes to consumers... Never again, iconic Australian brand is now rubbish!
I have been purchasing this brand for over 10 years for work .I will not be purchasing it again , as quality no longer live up to repetition . The stitching fall apart and zip all ways breaks

I used to drive a cab for many years and always wore the required Yakka blue shirts, epaulets, double pockets etc. And they used to get an absolute hiding, let me tell ya! But here's the thing, three shirts would easily last a year. And that was driving 60 hours a week doing nights. And I really liked the shirts.
However, just a couple of years ago, I bought another Yakka shirt just for casual wear. The double pockets suit me fine for my notebook and my pipe lighter and pipe tool. But they are only worn casually. Watching TV, going to th...

once the material gets any damage they fall to pieces in the washing machine , after a few washes they are unwearable! And at around the $75 dollar cost the are overpriced
Bought some hard yakka shorts 92R size after one gentle cold wash they shrank to uncomfortable fit.
Hard yakka would not accept to refund my money or exchange the shorts for another pair saying that this is "normal" for there clothing, it is my problem that they have shrunk so badly as I can not wear them. a dud company be aware.
