shocking quality, made out of $5 sheets from target. Colour fade after first wash to a blue/black. The last few things I've got from hard yakka don't last.

I bought my boots in September 2020 and boy are they good. I'm on my feet 8 or 9 hours a day on a concrete floor. When they're eventually worn out I'm getting another pair. Thanks hard Yakka.

$99 Bunnings. Most comfortable boots available. Just an all round great boot. Easy on and off. Wear them as casual Boots as well as for work.

I feel compelled to comment on these 3056 boots. Comfortable from the onset and very easy to put on with boots laced and using zip. The mid height is good fir support but not restrictive as tall ones could be. Steel toe and water resistant. Didn’t check fit this feature though. I highly recommend these boots as comfortable safe work, garden and shed boots. Well done Yakka. Guy in Adelaide

I bought a pair of Hard Yakka bib and brace overalls from Australian Only. I was hoping they were going to be of similar quality to the King Gees that I lived in for some years. Sadly in less than six months the fabric has literally started to disintegrate, with the edges of the pockets threadbare and torn and holes in the knees and other quite low stress areas. I have worn them around the house in Lockdown and hardly exposed them to the level of stress that you'd expect overalls to cope with. Very disappointed.

I was using size 32 in FXD brand fit perfect with Good stretch. Went to a store that only had hard yakka so tried on 32 and they were way too small so I got 34 which were OK fitting. Had for a couple of months now they have stretched so much but still that tight around the leg/ crouch area. Have thrown them out and will never buy again.

HY 3056 (olive) boots lasted 17 months with 6 days a week use until wearing through the front and heels. No other issues. Sizes run a little large for thick socks (I am normally a 9 and found 8's better)

I had a nicely worn in pair of Oliver Work Boots but then having started a new job I found that I needed black work shoes of some sort. I went to the work wear store, there was some Oliver Boots which would have been perfect but they didn't have my size in stock. I tried on a pair of the Hard Yakka boots, the size on the shelf was perfect for me, they felt comfy, they had zips on the side, the only difference is that they were more padded, lower and also heavier than the olivers (mainly because the olivers had a synthetic toe cap rather than st...
Read moreeel). Anyway I needed some boots ASAP so decided to go with the Hard Yakka. Initially they were comfortable but after the first week there was a period of time where the edge of the tongue was hurting the top of my foot, mainly one. I persevered and within another week the issue went away. I should mention that I find it hard to find perfect boots, it seems like one always seems to rub on my heel or something like that. I've had these for more than a month now and apart from the initial "wearing in" I haven't had any problems which is a good sign. The zips are so handy, I would always buy work boots with zips these days. Yes sometimes I find the zips on these boots can unzip a little, but only a small amount. I think the zip retention thing could be a bit better designed...perhaps a little velcro strap like the Oliver boots tend to have could be a little more effective? In saying that they don't zip down enough to cause issue or constant adjustment and to think of it I find that it's only one boot (the right one). A huge plus for these boots is the sole, I work in a place where the floors could get very slippery and I have to say these boots seem to have the most anti slip sole compared to any shoe I have owned in the past! Unless I'm stepping on a greasy piece of food or something these just aren't slippery at all it's great.....and they seem to be nicely waterproof too (when hosing down the floors)...although I do like to coat any of my leather boots in Nikwax or Dubbin etc for extra water proofing. So yes I think I would be happy to buy these again. I work on my feet and often I also walk to and from work (about a half hour walk), these seem to be pretty good so far, for comparison when I initially wore some Volleys they were sliippery on the floors (even though it was a natural rubber sole) and my feet were sore by the time I finished work which made it a chore to walk home.- Product Quality

Don't waste your money on a product that looks great but under delivers on performance.
Worst pair of boots for construction I've owned in over 10 years. Bought less than 2 months ago and the heel has already lost it's cushion. Wouldn't recommend them. Very disappointed.

Got the boots out of the wardrobe this morning and they fell to bits before the day was half way through.
Tag says "Made in China" which says a lot!
Good old Aussie made Rossi boots for me! I have worn them around China and Russia without a problem - even pointing out to a tour guide how good Australian made products were when his footwear was soaked from the wet weather.
Thought this Australian company would also produce good gear bit bitterly disappointed.
Might have to take to Standards Authority! Or was the tag just a con?
