Customer service team is actually just ghosts
So we decided to order an Air Fryer during the post Christmas sales since I had been looking for one and a newspaper catalog finally got my mothers interest in one too. Order goes through, order ships, get a tracking number, no biggie. Actually there’s a big problem. The order while going through the slowest (cheapest) pathway possible it takes until it’s at the delivery depo 15 minutes away from us for AusPost to turn it around because the consignment is incorrect (aka somethings wrong with the shipping). All well and good, in the words of Ton...y Abbott, “Crap happens.” Emailed customer service asking what was going to happen from here are just on the cusp of 48 hours I got an email back asking if I wanted it resent and to confirm my address, or if I wanted a refund. Chose the former because I just want my air fryer. Since then, nothing. Radio silence, not even a “Sorry about that here’s your new tracking number.” Today I get a text from auspost going “we’re throwing something at you today enjoy waiting.” So I thought they just forgot to email me. I was wrong. It was the same tracking for the same item, except it was being delivered to Durrimut, VIC. We live in SA. So yeah, I mean the only positive is I used PayPal to pay for it so I don’t have to talk to the ghost of their customer service if I want a refund.
"Explorer" in name only...
Not a patch on the real "original" explorer socks. These seem a pale imitation - thin, nylony and cheap feel.
I feel cheated.
Broken Dinner set
I ordered 3 sets of Dinner sets. My package arrived after a week to Sydney, however the box was full damaged and half open. On top of it, the dinner sets were broken. Horrible experience. I submitted the same review on their website which was moderated and removed. Dishonest company! I did call their customer care who issued me a refund but who needs this added stress!
Worst online and custoner service exerience
I ordered two items - one was cancelled (out of stock) and the other was scheduled for delivery 7 days after the order (not quick). I got a message saying that the item was undeliverable because no one was home - there were two family members and 3 cleaners in the house at the time of the bogus delivery. Parcel went to local PO - I could not go there because of illness. HS said call PO and arrange re-delivery. After 30 + minutes on phone I gave up, and contacted them saying they had created the porblem, they could now solve it. Various ine...pt customer service replies, doing nothing. As far as I am concerned, parcel can remain at PO and eventually get returned to HS and I presumably will get a refund. Three other parcels were delivered that day with no problems. I will never shop with Harris Scarfe again - rotten assistance and "customer service" is a joke.

Great experience with Harris Scarfe online store
Unlike most other customers posting reviews here, I seem to have got lucky with my Harris Scarfe online store experience. I ordered a Dunlopillo Classic latex pillow on 11 November 2021 which arrived in Perth on 22 November, so very prompt service there from both HS and Australia Post. Because of the horrible overpowering toxic latex smell, I was unable to use the pillow and returned it to HS on 29 November, courtesy of their free returns service which is a fantastic facility. On 8 December, Australia Post's tracking service notified me that th...e parcel had been delivered back to HS, and on 9 December I had email contact from one of the Customer Service staff asking for the tracking number as I had notified HS shortly after returning the item that I had omitted to enclose the purchase invoice in the package, so had been asked to email it to them instead. Customer Service was obviously then able to link the tracking number on the package to the emailed invoice number without any problems as today, 14 December, I was notifed by Paypal that my account had been credited for the return, so about a month all up from order to refund. The refund was less the original postage of $10 to post the pillow to me from South Australia which I think is very reasonable, especially as I didn't pay for the return postage. I have never been into a Harris Scarfe store as we don't have any here in Perth, so have no experience of their physical stores, but I think their online customer service and online returns portal are exemplary. I was able to book the return online and print out the free returns label of which the local post office I had nominated to accept the item for return was notified before my arrival. From the reviews I've read, the physical stores seem to have issues with their customer service, but I think their online store order and returns has really got it right, in my case at any rate.
Every online order, gets cancelled 24 hrs later - they advertise non stocked goods.
I ordered an airfryer oven a month ago online, the order was cancelled by Harris scarf 3 days later and refunded 5 days later. I paid for a different model airfryer oven 3 nights ago, got an email that its not in stock. I paid $399 for an e scooter lunchtime Monday online, they cancelled it this morning as its not in stock. STOP ADVERTISING GOODS THAT YOU HAVE NO INTENTION OF SUPPLYING, massive waste of my time, and I can't spend elsewhere as I've got $800 frozen on my card in pending refunds from H.S. Not happy at all.
Dont bother calling or emailing ... Worst "customer service" ever.
Unfortunately I really wanted to buy something they stock so I persisted. Most frustrating week of my life. No communication
POOR online shopping service!
I ordered $400+ worth, had 2 items cancelled due to not available stocks, while still posted on the website when I re-checked!
Also few items have some scratches/scrapes on them and does NOT look brand new! very disappointed!
Completely disappointed with Harris Scarfe. Spent time navigating their website to find items I would like to purchase, added almost $170 worth of items to my cart for delivery. All were in stock at the time of checkout. After my order has been confirmed, they ended up cancelling my entire order because "they cannot fulfill" it. Why not update the website instead to say they are not available rather than wasting customers time? If I could give zero stars, I would.
Bought a Vacuum online, next day advised for no reason that my order had been cancelled. Emailed them, crickets crickets. Phoned ‘Customer no service’ thought I was speaking to an overseas scamming centre the entire time, aggressive deceptive lies given to me. 1st excuse given was their problem with online orders, then that changed to the sale had ended prior to my purchase, luckily I purchased the day before the sale ended. Asked to speak to supervisor and told one would phone me, crickets.
Rang back customer no service today, spoke to another...
No product quality control and appalling customer support.
Made a large purchase of multiple items on the Harris scarfe online site and received 1 item a week later. I then spent the next 5 weeks chasing up my additional items with no response through their online contact customer service dept, except for an automated reply that they would respond within 48hrs. I finally got through to the customer service dept via a phone call and was told in a deadpan voice the products are no longer in stock and you’re receiving a refund! The customer service rep showed no sincerity of empathy and couldn’t have cared less about Harris Scarfe advertising goods online that are out of stock.
Clearly the company has employed either lazy or under qualified staff.
No care no responsibility
Purchased some towels etc to be delivered to my son in Melbourne. However the goods were incorrectly sent
to my address in NSW which is the billing address not the delivery address.
Rang Harris Scarfe they told me they would not rectify the situation. Essentially bad luck. Lodged a complaint with Harris Scarfe however they failed to even respond. Disgraceful customer service.
Broken and still taking my money... Grrrrrr
I ordered 2 sets of crockery, waited longer than I would have expected but that's no big deal, when they arrived, I could hear the clatter of broken items inside, I opened it and yes 2 cups were smashed to smithereens. I contacted HS and they got back to me after I sent them pictures of the broken items also a Massive big chip on one of the dinner plates. I'm still waiting to get rid of this useless set and for them to STOP taking money out. DO NOT BUY FROM HARRIS SCARFE on line.
3 weeks later and still no delivery
Another company hiding behind "covid" for their pathetic logistics capability.
Ordered an air fryer on 17 August. It's now September 8th and I still have nothing.
Steer well clear and buy from a company that will actually deliver your goods!
Don’t accept orders you can’t honour and respond to your CUSTOMERS
Ordered a quilt and quilt cover online. Same as previous reviews, received email notification to advise quilt cover not available (still showing on website as being in stock a week after my query) and refund will be processed.
Very quick to take your money instantly online even if product not available but have to rely on business days for refund.
Emailed request to cancel quilt also as I had ordered as a set. No response.
Called Customer “Service” and like others who have reviewed, waited nearly an hour for my call to be answered.
Have sent numerous emails and have had one very non committal response.
Shame, Harris Scarfe used to be a go to but the service is now appalling.
Will shop elsewhere and happily pay more for a service.

I purchased a set of black cutlery at Christmas 2020 - all the colour has nearly fallen away. I have the original receipt am i able to get a refund or another set?
My clothes arrived with security tags still in them. Anyone know how to remove them. I can't go to a store. Thanks. Lyn
I have a card from Harris Scalf I no why I cant get the orders to go through I was on big pond.net au something like that because I winded in with it but I’m with Gmail now my mailing address is [removed]gmail.com sorry for all the trouble I now have or had stuff in cart and cant get through till it’s fixed cheers nola spiers
