Very Poor performance - Electrolux Pure Q9 cordless vacuum
My wife and daughter purchased two Electrolux Pure Q9-P cordless vacuums in October 2020. From the first time I used the vacuum I thought I must have been using it incorrectly. It quickly clogged up in the neck and it left dirt behind when I lifted it up of the floor to see why it wasn't sucking. When I took the head of and looked each time I found particles blocking the main intake. The rotating roller head also has a habit of flicking the dirt around the floor in front of it. I think this is because there is not enough suction to attract dirt...into the unit. I found myself having to run over the same spot three times and still it left particles of dirt behind regardless of particle size. We have a tiled house and it was just not up to the job. When I mentioned this to my wife and daughter initially they didn't seem to have a problem. That was up until about two months ago when I asked them again what they thought of the unit, that was then they both said they had enough. They described experiences the same as I had. It looks sleek and sounds like a big motor but it probably only picks up about 5% of the particles it runs over. We are all very disappointed with the units and will be returning both units for refund under consumer guarantee legislation because it just doesn't do what it is suppose to.
Totally not what it states on Australian website
Blanco Australian website states the Linus-S SILGRANIT tap has a pull out spray option at the touch of a button. This tap doesn’t have a spray function at all, it’s just a pull out tap! Have contacted Blanco several times and no one has returned my calls or emails. I can’t believe Blanco are still falsely advertising this product. Harvey Norman have been great, just wouldn’t recommend this product.
Refunds like pulling teeth
Bought a toaster at the Maroochydore QLD store. Tried to return it after 6 days. Box Not opened. I went to the front desk with the receipt. They called the store manager. Waited almost 5 minutes. I was interrogated and made to feel very uncomfortable. He told me he would make an exception and refund just this one time. With this type of customer service, I will never enter another Harvey Norman store.
Paid $150 for dishwasher install. On the day delivery was promised, the installer (3rd party) pulled out last minute due to an alleged communications error with the store. I had taken my last annual leave day off work to wait for this, and it was wasted due to their incompetent communications. Waited an additional 2 weeks past this date for the installer to come. On the day it finally arrived, a Harvey Norman rep told us it would arrive first thing in the morning as we were 'first on the list'. It arrived in the afternoon instead, and the 3rd p...arty installer told us Harvey Norman tell every customer that they're 'first on the list', and that he had gone to two other customers prior, who were also 'first on the list'. Installation did not occur as this same Harvey Norman rep had not properly communicated to the installer what our plumbing specifications were and they didn't bring the correct pipe. Typical big corporation - I hope they choke on my hard-earned money.
Harvey Norman has been our go-to appliance retailer and we are in the process of a large renovation and need to purchase all new kitchen appliances. With a budget of $10,000 just for our appliances, we have decided to eliminate Harvey Norman from our list of options because they have taken 22 million in Australian's taxpayers money whilst making a $178 million profit in just two months. I hope other people also decide to boycott Harvey Norman. You have lost us as customers Harvey Norman
Waiting for repair or replacement of cordless vacuum cleaner Vax Blade II for 4 weeks. Terrible service at Harvey Norman Liverpool. Never walk to the shop again.
My mum was shopping around for a new washing machine and decided this was the place to get it. She’s bought her precious washing machine from here so she was a returning customer. She’d decided on the product and went to pay for it. The checkout person didn’t explain their delivery options or services available, as they have (for both mum’s previous purchase, as well as my own in the past). Anyway, she had her machine delivered, the delivery guys didn’t set it up (not their fault, mum hadn’t organised it despite asking for it be included at the...additional cost). She had so many issues trying to set it up so she returned to Harvey Norman in Fyshwick, ACT to ask for assistance. I went along with her. The gentleman who “greeted” us was an absolute joke, completely unprofessional. He questioned why my mum wasn’t able to set up something simple like a washing machine, why she couldn’t follow the instructions manual etc. when I pointed out that my mum barely speaks English, relying on staff to help her he turned to me and said that’s not his problem she can’t speak English. Another older gentleman came over and helped us, giving us a demo on how to put it together, eventually organising for a technician to come out to set it up for my mum. We are forever grateful to the older gentleman for his kindness and patience. Unfortunately, the younger douche’s attitude was a bitter experience so we’ll never, EVER return to a Harvey Norman store again. If you’re a person of colour/immigrant looking for great customer service you can’t go wrong with small, local businesses! Support local businesses who genuinely want to help you and want your patronage
Harvey Norman to expensive but most importantly why do you have to make things so difficult
I've been shopping around for bedroom furniture for some time now and why the bloody hell do you not have any prices on the website? You have to email the specific store which takes them 5 days to finally get back to you. Just to tell you a price too late
Standard delivery for there bed frames is $150 for delivery and it would be delivered within 10 weeks lol absolutely ridiculous.
I went and ordered a bed off the website after much deliberation and 5 days later the sales person who couldn't really give an f called me back and said the bed f...rame is not even available until 6 months from now why even have it on your website???? He then took another 5 days to issue a refund for a bed frame that was I charged for. Also I have a giftcard of $1,000 to spend and you don't even do free delivery when someone is spending upwards of $1,000+ Where i'm still charged $160 for delivery. Metro Melbourne to Metro Melbourne based delivery. Places like Kogan and catch.com where I have spent $50 and I've got free delivery.
non existent service, overpriced
Out of stock item bought,no indication it was out of stock. no way to get snswers or abiliry to cancel. generally foubd over priced and poor service in stores as well
Over priced, go elsewhere.
We recently kitted out a new kitchen with a new cooktop, oven, dishwasher and range hood and Harvey Norman could not come close to price and service from their competitors on the same brands. They are completely out of touch with their market and I can't see any reason that someone should shop here.
mother purchased a dryer from a harvey normal store. She was informed by staff that if she did not purchase a surge protector that the warranty of the product would no longer be valid and that continuing without buying this item there would be no warranty. However under consumer law this is not in guidelines of a manufacturers warranty. The dryer comes with a 24 month warranty and the staff cannot be claiming to consumers that unless they buy an extra item that is not part of the manufacturing warranty that it will be voided.
This is not the f...
Parts of sink missing when plumber turned up to instal new sink bought from Harvey Norman.
Complained and Harvey Norman gave me wrong parts to get me out of the shop.
Had to go to Reece to get parts to finish job.
Very bad service.
Did not care about rectifying problem.
The worst customer service
False promises. No good customer service.
I was told I was going to get a full refund but due to paying with a gift voucher, I was given credit.
Rather than giving me cash or given me the refund using a different card.
PURCHASED TV THAT DIDN’T WORK
$2,800 on TV Harvey Norman Mt Barker. Took it back next morning and said “it’s got a smashed screen when taken out of box”. REFUSED refund or exchange. LEFT PRODUCT IN STORE. Told it was my fault and refused to do anything “TO BAD TO SAD”!!! Don’t ever buy product from this shonky store!! Waste of money. No resolution even attempted
