Price Ok, Service Not Ok
Recently visited Moore Park Store. Bought two products, wanted to buy 2 more but customer service was not ok. They could be more helpful.
Difficult to deal with and a returns policy that is just ridiculous!
Recently I made a computer keyboard purchase, simple WFH keyboard and it was only 1 week old.
I went into store to get a refund, the gentleman in the tech area 'tested' it by bashing the keys a few times and pairing it to their in-store laptop. I advised him a key didn't work but he kept bashing that specific key until it worked. Then said, this is general wear and tear, no refund.
I was unhappy as I knew it wasn't a long term solution, so I asked for a refund. He refused and said no way, there is nothing wrong, albeit he bashed the keyboard ...
Waited around 15 minutes to be served by someone. Eventually I was assisted and the assistance was fantastic from that point onwards. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely go back for any electronic needs.
Knowledgeable and friendly staff
Staff at the store was approachable ,e and friendly, answered any questions or concerns that I had in relation to recent laptop purchase. Downside was the amount of upwelling that went on until I could take my item to the register. Other than that was great service and great products

i love coming here its a great shop, the staff are always good and the range is great but the prices are what kills me. i get confused when prices are 20% others.
Went to buy an iphone with cash but couldn't
I went to my local harvey norman and asked if i could purchase an iphone with Cash and they said no! i had to be on a plan if i wanted an iphone! this is silly
LG OLED TV B8 65 inch
Good TV with great quality and harvey norman was the cheapest at the time, customer service from the assistant was professional. Although delivery 5 mins down the road was a bit expensive.
So pushy to sell extended warranty even after telling them no 3 times.
Had to deal with a salesperson that had no clue about computers, who was extremely pushy in selling a more expensive laptop and also adding an extended warranty. Think we said no thanks about 3 or 4 times before get annoyed with the salesperson.
Harvey Norman wow!
Bought a few products from this store. Had to take them back multiple times. Only for them to run out of the replacements. Had 3 replacements and each replacement was faulty. Eventually the ultimate decision from the store was to give me a refund. They didn't even bother to swap for another product.
Ipad buying experience @ HN
I bought this a month ago. My first Apple product and what a treat it has been. Been an android user all my life but now I am getting the feel of Apple products. Absolutely smooth operating system. 32 GB is enough for me as I dont download movies or songs. A bit of games and browsing is all what I do and this beauty does the job brilliantly.
Onething I want customers to know that if you are buying this from Harvey Norman and they promise you to give some nice iPad cover along with it which is Free, please make sure that its available in Sto...re because I have been waiting for more than a month to get my iPad cover which they promised that they will get it for me in 2 weeks time. I still haven't got one. Mind you this iPad slips of your hands so make sure you get a cover as soon as you buy :)
Good Service except didnt tell me no longer has a DVD/CD component on laptop
It was easy to locate what I wanted but I was asked to purchase product care. I kept saying no and I am disappointed I was not made aware there was no DVD section on my new laptop even though the salesmen wanted to sell me Norton Security which has a CD to install the security
Love my new LG smart TV
Great 65” LG tv, happy with product and easy set up, fantastic brand that I keep getting each time I consider my options, never dissatisfied.
sales staff quite rude, have been before on a number of occasions, poor customer service, felt like it was a hassle to purchase or inconvenience.
Worst Delivery Service
They were supposed to deliver a fridge on a Saturday; i was told they forgot to load it on the truck and that their driver lives far away and can’t deliver it. They suggested Monday. I told them I just moved into a new place and I needed a fridge ASAP. They kindly offered to deliver it the next day, at 12 as soon as the depot opened and they said they would refund my delivery charge.
The next day, the driver calls me and says he won’t deliver it until after 3. It told him it was unacceptable, as I had to go to work. At half past 1 I called Ha...
Beware of the strict returns policy
I have purchased many items from Harvey Norman over the years, including laptops and smartphones. My most recent experience means I will be looking elsewhere when purchasing technology. Bought a phone a week ago (Huawei Nova 2 Lite); and the salesman was very happy to sell (granted he did give me generous discount). Did some research online prior to purchase and saw the phone had NFC- which I was happy about because I wanted to use the phone for mobile payments. When trying to set my debit card up in the Google Pay app, I discovered that my pho...ne didn't have NFC as a message came up in the Google Pay app saying "you won't be able to use this phone for contactless payments). I visited the store wanting to exchange the phone for a different product as I believed I had been mislead (as Huawei's website stated the phone had NFC). The manager who I spoke to said that because I did not specifically state that I wanted to use mobile payments when I purchased the handset, he could not authorise the refund/exchange (it was not a condition of sale). Granted, the staff are extremely nice when it comes to dealing with customers; but I was disappointed with the service I received in this instance.
The good product but I just had little problems with the handle
The price was reasonable. And the delivery was good on the time they give me a phone number for the company
