Beware bad Product and customer service
Product was damaged on arrival, badly manufactured and getting any help from customer service was almost impossible, do not buy from them, horrible service and impersonal fb robot messenger is only communication available.

Bad experience with the service online!!
I bought a board game on their online store trying to give support on Australian local store due the COVID-19 situation instead to buy from Amazon US which btw was $18 cheaper.
I totally regret it. Some pieces where damaged and defected which is not their fault but I basically did not receive any support from them. I pointed it out with an email and on their chat. It has been really difficult to be in contact with them but when I was able to do so they were not very helpful. Just told me that they had to contact the supplier. However, it made ...sense so I waited. It has been passed 3 weeks, I sent other emails to have some news and nothing! No resolution, no contact! Luckily mine is just a game. I don’t want to think to manage a complain situation with some essential items as a cooktop or a fridge or maybe a laundry machine.
Couldn't fill my online order even after they called me to say it was ready to collect. Local store very unhelpful. No customer service line, you have to use live chat to contact them. Live chat promised a response within 48 hours to my request for a refund, still haven't heard 12 days later. Contacted live chat again, they are blaming the local store, but they will "escalate it". Didn't care that I was lodging a complaint with ACCC. Wouldn't use them again. Had to select one star but would have preferred to give them zero.
The Livemor massage chairs are faulty and Harvey Norman is not contacting us for a refund despite numerous attempts via email, live chat and phone. No customer service, they are quick to take your money, chair delivered within 3 days now we need assistance we can't get it. Taking this matter to consumer affairs. DO NOT BUY FROM HARVEY NORMAN.
Shoddy products that don’t work and no customer service
I have ordered 2 products recently. 1) a webcam for schooling which didn’t work; 2) an office chair which we couldn’t put together because all the screw holes were in the wrong position. Shoddy Products. No customer service - I can’t even get anyone to return my message ( they don’t give you a phone number to call). Will never ever make another purchase from them ever again
WORST Customer service ever
Not at all satisfied with the service. They don't bother if a customer is happy or not. Once a sale is made. They have got the money. That's it for them.

I ordered a Samsung g9 monitor. That’s fine , was supposed to come the 1st of august , but that changed to late September, I have no monitor which I use for work, now I have been trying to cancel and they keep fogging me of I have been tfrying for 2 day now ,
Some time ago, I wrote a review but can't find it now, but would like to add to it.
We brought a two seater recliner from the store at Aspley. The staff have always been fantastic, even though we were difficult customers. I have had an operation on my back and was scared of getting something and then finding that after a few hrs that it was not good for my back.
We found a lovely comfortable Chinese made, two seater recliner and were delighted with it, but within a month or so it started to sink on the side where I sat.

Just the worst
I received a birthday gift that was purchased and shipped from Harvey Norman online. It was faulty (& within warranty) and I was told by the manufacturer to organise a replacement via Harvey Norman.
Their website says "You may return goods we have delivered to you by mail by contacting our Customer First Team."
So I did that. And after spending two hours on their Online Chat, I'd received a grand total of two messages, both saying that they could not arrange returns and I would have to visit my local store.
I wouldn't buy from Harvey Norman normally, purely due to their owner. This experience, with such unhelpful and rude customer service reps, confirmed that the fish rots from the head.
Worst online customer service I have ever dealt with
If Harvey Norman online was the last place on earth left to buy something I wouldn’t buy it !! Had a faulty product that was purchased last December, contacted them In March , issue still isn’t resolved !

4th laptop in 3 yrs
I hve been a customer of Harvey Norman for any years. I have purchased everything from appliance to furniture to computers.
In the last 3 years, I have purchased 6 laptops. 2 for my daughter. She had to wait more then 2 months for product care to sort out her replacement and she was a University student at the time.
For my self, first I got an HP X2. The battery heated up and was replaced under product care. I was recommended the spectre. So I paid for the upgrade. The spectre ended up with frozen mouse after just over a year. As I d...id not want to wait and needed computer for work, I then bought a new computer, again recommended by their staff, an envy. That was just October 2019. The unit started to hve loud fan issue. Follow by 2 weeks of constant shut down and I ended up loosing all my work. I then went to Harvey Norman today. I then was recommended an Acer, with i7. I got home, turned it on and what did it say?? Your computer can't start.!!!
Worst online shopping experience ever
- Order an item over $400 that is in stock
- Item is not get email saying it is coming soon
- 4 1/2 weeks later nothing. No updates.
- Tried emailing, using messaging on website and messaging facebook with only a reply and hours later on messaging saying she would look into it. No reply after that.
- Never have i experienced support that is this unresponsive ever.

Product gr8 online service sucks
Purchased 2 laptop's online was assured by staff at Morayfield that I should receive a tax invoice, tried to contact the online dept for email of tax invoice even on social media they chose to ignore me...here's the one sided conversation all you had to do was email me my tax invoice...too hard too bad then enjoy the review
Fast, efficient service and delivery
The store in Wonthaggi was marvellous, easy to deal with, the store in Dandenong rang me back quickly and was very informative about the product i was interested in. The product was JBL 5.1 surround system and the customer service Tech guy was knowledgeable and convinced me to buy the product all because he knew what he was talking about and took the time ti ring back and talk to me....BANG ....SOLD...great job. Will deal with them again

Don't buy a HP computer from them, don't know who has the worst customer service between the two of them.
Once you bought something from them you are on your own. Now I have a child that cannot do her school work because she has no computer. Can not even get a answer from HP computers. Just lost $1700.
No backup from harvey norman when buying online
Have spent thousands with Harvey Norman over the years in store with no problems at all.
We wanted to replace 2 shower heads in our bathrooms, googled the items and found Harvey Norman had what we wanted. Unfortunately the Port Macquarie NSW store does not have a bathroom section so we ordered online. The delivery was good, however one of the shower heads was faulty. If you want warranty service don't buy online
Bought a pair of Apple airpods online that died in 6 months despite never leaving the bedroom. Took them to the local store who told me they weren't covered as the socket was corroded. Even if this were true , having never been wet or outside it's still a fault with the unit. Rang head office ( or tried to) then chatted online to be told effectively store decision. Store doesn't want to do anything as they didn't sell it and the franchise model means they are not held accountable. Head office doesn't give a rat's. Basically if I want to pursue ...it I need to go to small claims with Harvey's knows it's a slow process and who would bother for $200. And they're right - it usually takes two days off work to get a final decision. Result is I'll not buy anything from Harvey's ever again. And I've spent thousands there which they know as they have the records. Harvey's have been fined over and over again for not honouring consumer Law. They just don't care. Shop anywhere else
Great price and amazing warranty options.
We have shopped at Harvey Norman for over 15 years and spent in excess of $30,000. Every product we have brought has been a great price and quality. Warranty options are great so if you have any issues you know it will always get fixed. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
really bad service
really bad assistant. name is lee Anne..for every second she was asking help from her seniors.if she doesnt know anything about product how can she assist customer..because of her we ordered wrong mattress.
i called the store manager next morning that we r not happy with the product at least can help us with exchange..and she refused it.she wasn't even listening us.We are purchasing our all stuff from them since 5 years..and we end up paying $1500.00 which we r not happy to use at all.really rude staff..and they dont even have most of the produ...

How do I make a claim? I ordered a product 18th June was to be delivered 24th June. I’ve sent many many emails to both HN & the courier company to see where it is. I’ve had conformation from both the courier & HN that my item is lost. That was on 9th July but I can’t get any one to take this seriously or to call me back. I’m beside myself I’ve made many requests for someone to call me to no avail. Help please.
