Delivery no communication.
I bought a washing machine online and paid for delivery. The store didn't communicate for a couple of days the phoned to say they would deliver Wednesday. Of course, no shock, nobody turned up but I did get a call saying the delivery would be 'on the truck Thursday'. Guess what? Yup, no washing machine and no communication. I suppose it will turn up eventually...
Will I buy from HN again or use The a good Guys? Yup - GG here I come for my fridge.

I was nervous based on the reviews here, but so far a positive experience
I was nervous to purchase from Harvey Norman's website based on all the 1 star reviews here, but I bought an airfryer as a wedding present for my brother last week and it was shipped the next day and arrived a few days later - the delivery people rang me when they were 15 minutes away too. I do wish there was a way to track your shipment though. And I ordered a fitbit for my dad for Christmas last night and it shipped this morning. So far a positive experience ordering online from Harvey Norman.
No product, no refund
Next to impossible to get in contact with the web CS team, 3 weeks, no product, refuse to do a refund even though the item hasn't been sent and they don't have it in stock.
Terrible Customer Service
Tried to purchase a laptop for my daughter for school. Order went through and credit card was charged. Two days later get an e-mail saying the order had been cancelled. No reason given. Card still charged. There is no phone number to call. Sent them an e-mail with no response. Tried their whattsapp service but no one answered. Tried live chat and again, no response from anyone. Credit card was finally refunded but still cannot get to talk to anyone about it. Take your business elsewhere. Not worth the hassle.

Worst customer service
Brought a coffee machine and 3 x coffee beans from online store. Coffee beans delivered in two lots one from emerald the other two from oxkley but no coffee machine. No phone number for online contact. Rang local store to find out what is going on. Given a number that no longer is manned. Forced back onto online contact. 3 hrs and still waiting for customer service who claims response time is very reasonable. Had enough will cancel order as soon as someone decides to attend to issue. Will never shop at this store or another associated with it. Just got another all our staff are busy message. Disgusting service.

I am writing to complain about the horrible shopping experience at harveynorman.com.au and I am looking for a way to escalate this matter so that no other customers are traumatized the same way.

Don’t buy online
I agree with the previous comment about buying online. They don’t have a hotline you can call instead just messaging apps that took ages to reply. I bought a product online for click and collect and of course it was in stock for it to be ready to be collected ASAP. It’s been a week now and I’ve been messaging them on facebook. They said Sorry for the delay they would respond on the next 48 business hours. Like WTH!!! Never had a bad experience with a large company like these. I would just lije to cancel my order and buy somewhere else. Will nev...er buy from them because I’m very very disappointed. My target order came in earlier even though the product I bought for click and collect was not available in store and it only took 2 days for it to be ready fir collection.

Placed an online order on the 17th Sept. I have been waiting very patiently as i know Covid is causing delays however weeks i sent an email as it still had not been shipped. No response. Have been trying every since to get in touch for a refund. No response, can't get hold of anyone. What a joke of a company. And how is this for comparison, i ordered some headphones from Jb Hi Fi on a Sunday, i got a courtesy call about 2 hours after the order asking if i would like them to be delivered on that same day. I know who i will be shopping with from now on!
Customer service bad and didn't get gift card. Gimmick, told to chase it up myself
Bought two items, a laptop and fan for a total of 1300 dollars. What pushed me to do it was 60 months interest free and 50 dollar gift card as I knew I will pay it off on 12 months and the gift card I'll get a laptop bag. Shocking delivery service!!! Never again!
I ordered a fridge recently and got it delivered to my place, however due to the large packaging the fridge was quite difficult to get in the main door. We suggested to the delivery guys to bring it around the property to go through the back where there is a bigger door and easier access to the kitchen but they didn’t listen, were quite rude and said “that’s all we can do” and just left the fridge without seeking a resolution. I don’t think it’s fair to leave a massive fridge for 2 small people to bring it in if the delivery guys can’t even mak...e it work! We’re lucky we had further deliveries that day and some guys helped us out. Otherwise it would have been an impossible situation! Purchasing was easy and was a good experience, product is good too but the delivery was horrible and the delivery guys appeared to be in a rush.

Dreadful Service - "in stock" but a week later still in the warehouse
I purchased an item online over a week ago. The following date I received a notification that the item has been shipped.
Obviously not, as 8 days later is still sitting in the warehouse according to the tracking.

You are forced to interact with some stupid bot, eventually (after 45 minutes) some moron replies that you should be more patient and expect slight delays.

The order would have been fine, but unfortunately they use Couriers Please
Purchased a kitchenaid attachment, and the product is great. However, I would not have ordered from them if I had known that they use Couriers Please for their shipping. Couriers Please claimed to have attempted delivery and left a card, but I was home at the time during Victoria's stage 4 lockdown and no attempt was made. There was also no card left at the premises. I would recommend purchasing elsewhere from somewhere that does not use dishonest delivery services.
why would anyone not advertise prices online
What does 'çontact us for price' help to accomplish? The chat team says they do not know the prices either but someone will çall to answer my inquiry.

News Flash: Harvey Norman, Australia is going through a recession. If you do not want to sell stuff to people who are interested to buy, there are thousands of competitors who will. Maybe it is high time you review your business practices if you do not want to sink like little mice

Bad experience with the service online!!
I bought a board game on their online store trying to give support on Australian local store due the COVID-19 situation instead to buy from Amazon US which btw was $18 cheaper.
I totally regret it. Some pieces where damaged and defected which is not their fault but I basically did not receive any support from them. I pointed it out with an email and on their chat. It has been really difficult to be in contact with them but when I was able to do so they were not very helpful. Just told me that they had to contact the supplier. However, it made ...sense so I waited. It has been passed 3 weeks, I sent other emails to have some news and nothing! No resolution, no contact! Luckily mine is just a game. I don’t want to think to manage a complain situation with some essential items as a cooktop or a fridge or maybe a laundry machine.

Unbelievably bad service
Ordered laptop headset on-line. Got email later saying not in stock. Store rang said it would be 2 weeks. 4 weeks later I rang, still not in stock. Said another 2 weeks. I cancelled the order & requested refund. Guy assured me the refund would be processed the next day. One month later get an email saying the product is ready for my collection. Order wasn’t cancelled & when I checked credit card no refund had been made. Rang Gordon store again to voice my frustration. Said he would cancel order & organise refund. Asked for someone to ring me wh...en this had been completed. No call ever received. A further month later still no refund showing on credit card statement. Rang Gordon store multiple times no answer. Eventually got a generic admin address & was told to email them. Did this - never heard anything back. Then today got a call from the Gordon store asking if I still wanted to pick up the headset!!! Unbelievable. At this stage I do not know if the money has been refunded or not. Honestly in 2020, how can you run and stay in business when your internal processes appear non-existent & no one takes accountability to help resolve what should be a simple issue.

POOR DELIVERY SERVICE
Ordered a sound bar (not a large item) and after 4 days it was still listed as processing. At least 2 local stores had stock. The online call center was totally unhelpful and could give me no relevant information. Next time will order from The Good Guys even if they are more expensive.

How do I make a claim? I ordered a product 18th June was to be delivered 24th June. I’ve sent many many emails to both HN & the courier company to see where it is. I’ve had conformation from both the courier & HN that my item is lost. That was on 9th July but I can’t get any one to take this seriously or to call me back. I’m beside myself I’ve made many requests for someone to call me to no avail. Help please.
