Not enough info

The sales person omitted to mention that medication would only be refunded if not on the Australian Pharmacy register and that the maximum per prescription was $ 50. Doesn’t help us with my husband’s medication at all.

Excellent Customer Service

Customer Service Operator was very knowledgeable re the health funds in the market. He listened to what I needed and as to why I was changing funds. The whole experience was friendly and easy to do. I appreciated the fact that they do all the work and I didn’t have to contact my old fund and then the new one. I’m very happy I decided to use them to make my life easier and also to help save me some money. All in all, a very good experience. Show reply

Serial spam calllers

Despite not giving them my number they continually keep calling despite being asked to stop.
They then called next day at 6.40 am Perth time and were advised to stop. Number blocked then call log shows they called again at 7.26am !! And again at 8.23am . Next day at 1.07pm.

Just what I needed

Was assisted by a very helpful knowledgeable person who was happy to answer any of my queries and go over things I didn't understand or wanted more information on. I didn't feel under any pressure during the phone process. Just hope having made the the transfer that the new Insurance company is as good as it seems when I come to make a claim! Show reply

It's a welcome change to get "honest" advice without the "advisor" sounding like a snake-oil salesdperson

The person whom I spoke to was a good listener, very knowledgeable and most sympathetic to a "caller" (me) who had become very frustrated by the three previous efforts to obtain accurate, reliable and "simply-presented information which I was after!!! I couldn't speak more highly of the Consultant who very professionally answered all my questions and guided/assisted me in making the right decision. This "Consultant" deserves to be "recognised" by her employer and rewarded for her extensive knowledge!!! Show reply

Should have been more upfront

On September 24, I called to get a quote for Health Insurance. I received a quote, but only later did I learn that the quote did NOT include the Oct 1st increase a few days later (and a whopping 5% on top of that).
Not a good way to start a relationship. They could have handled it better

Credit card details shared misused

The only place I shared my credit card & cvv details on phone was with Health Insurance Comparison. I was suspicious when I was asked to repeat my credit card details and cvv 3 times and in a month I was targeted with several fraudulent transactions. I lost $4000. Stay away from this company and go with someone reputed who does not take your card details over phone.

Biggest cheater

Never fullfill their promise. Worst and biggest cheater. Never got my Visa Gift card as promised as part of promotion. Everyone in their customer service including their managers have no knowledge and passing blame on their other colleagues. I don’t even want to rate them. Worst and biggest cheater.

very unhappy

without asking forced to switch policy to another insurer. misinformed me regarding premiums. in 2 weeks found out that will pay more money than before. now need to spend more time to return to the previous insurer.

Not great

Didn’t give me the FULL details, just made it sound like I got more than my previous cover. When I rang the health fund direct to double check all the details, I realised Your company hadn’t been completely honest with me and it wasn’t as good a fit for me as my previous policy was. I called twice to cancel it but the person I dealt with wasn’t available and didn’t call back after promising to do so.
I had to call direct and cancel it myself. I wasted too much time on false information. Would never use again and can’t recommend.

Great service - totally unexpected

I was very impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of Amy who helped me with my decision to switch health care providers. She also seemed genuine and had personality. Health care cover is complex and I don’t think I could have made the right decision without her guidance. I am now saving close to $200 per month for what I consider to be better cover. Show reply
