Possibly one of the most frustrating retail experiences I've ever had
I purchased a dress for a wedding. Unfortunately the dress was significantly different to the picture on the Hello Molly website and of poor quality and cheap looking; not something you'd wear to a wedding. It was very crinkled (the dress online looked crisp) and a different colour to the picture online which was a beautiful blue. The dress that arrived was a dull, aqua colour, leaning towards a more on the green side.

Not like the picture!
Okay dress for the price however the colours shown on the website image are alot brighter than the item itself (as you'll see in the pictures) so I was very disappointed. Also not happy that I need to pay to return a poorly advertised item with no refund, only credit given. I'm not sure I want to buy anything else in a case the same thing happens. First and last time shopper here I think.

Arrived damaged and incredibly poor quality
This is my first time ordering from Hello Molly and it will also be my last! There is a massive thread that is hanging at the back of the dress that has caused a large and obvious pull in the fabric. If I were to cut or try to remove it, I can see that it will leave a huge hole. Also, the dress is meant to be covered in sequins, but when I pulled it out of the bag today, way too many sequins fell off it and there are small patches on the dress without sequins now. I don’t want either of those things because of the poor quality, I want a refund. And the other terrible thing is that they expect you to pay for your return when you’re getting a refund. How ridiculous? I’d rather just throw this out than have to waste fuel by driving to the post office and paying for a return that I shouldn’t have to! I purchased a gorgeous dress from Hello Molly and was so excited to wear it. I ensured I purchased it well and truly before I needed it to allow for shipping delays. Once I received the dress, I opened the package and immediately saw an orange mark on the front of the sky blue dress - it appears like a rust mark. I contacted the customer service team where I was offered a refund, or reimbursement for costs to have the dress repaired up to $20. Hello Molly refuse to provide replacements, so I organised a refund for the dress and REPURCHASED the dress as I needed it urgently and loved it so much. I received the second dress, opened the package and lo and behold ANOTHER rust mark! I am so disappointed with this outcome. The dress is so beautiful, but ruined by this bright orange mark. I'm frustrated that they wouldn't replace the item once I had returned it. Now I am out of pocket the cost of two dresses, I have two dresses to return and nothing to wear tomorrow. I contacted them for a second time regarding the dress, requesting someone inspect the dress before I consider purchasing it a third time and all I received was a copy and paste email exactly the same as the first, telling me I can get it repaired or return it. I'm truly appalled by the service and the products provided. I definitely will not shop here again and would advise everyone to steer clear of this company. This is the second time I've ordered from Hello Molly within the space of about a year. The first time - I bought a dress. The dress arrived in a relatively quick time frame, but the quality of the dress was terrible for how much it was worth. It looked awful on too. Felt like the advertising was false. (I might add I don't think my body type is difficult to look good in clothes) I go to the gym 4-5 times a week and I have a small waist and some curves. My daughter brought a dress there for $120 it arrived faulty ripped hem and the best they can do is tell her to send it back for a refund this was for her bday party now she’s out a dress and they don’t even offer to replace it. Do not be fooled by the pictures! Sent back a dress and had to use a store credit since they do not refund, the dress is thin and see through! Never buying from hello molly again and definitely not suggesting them to others!
