Exactly same review as below, same issue! – Had 55na model for 5 years now,a year ago got a black screen and wont start and somehow it resolved itself after multiple attempts. That time i had no voice and now i can hear voice and dar blue or almost black screen shows which brightens on touch at few spots but does not budge. Does not start at all. Didnt expect it to give up this soon Show details
No BLUETOOTH CONNECTIVITY 55N4 HISENSE – Purchased this smart tv only to find out it has no BLUETOOTH. Why make a tv with no Bluetooth! Lags when using wifi and forgets channels. Need blie tooth for sound bars etc. Show details
Worst experience with a Smart TV – I don't think the word "Smart" belongs to this TV. It is absolutely basic in terms of trying to get apps for todays streaming apps, and trying to get any form of screen mirroring software to work - forget it. Looks like I will have to buy a Google Chrome device to get the functionality I fully expected. I now have TCL TV products and they at… Read more
least have all the apps available but even they could learn in terms of customer loyalty and get their Android TV updates rolling out. The whole Android TV scenario seems to be fraught with danger at this stage and expecting an Android TV to have the lifespan of previous TV's is probably stupid.

The worst TV I have ever purchased - Bitterly disappointed! – Purchase this on advice from a salesman at Harvey Norman, in Sale, Vic. He said he had one and it was the best. I overheard him later chatting to another potential customer and he said the same thing about the TV she was interested in! (totally different brand) I have had nothing but trouble since buying it. Connecting to the internet is touch… Read more
and go, will not log on to the 5G network, will not play YouTube for any longer than 30 seconds, then it just stops and all I get is....loading!! The remote is painfully slow, can take up to 8 seconds to respond to channel change. Three yrs and all I have is a basic tv with a line running through the top of the screen that goes through everything and distorts faces. Been onto the service dept, three times and each one reset the tv and said that should sort it, any issues call-back. Nothing again!. My ISP can not sort out how to get YouTube working either and have mentioned the brand can have issues and to call Hisense. If I had my time back I would not, and will never, purchase a Hisense, product again.
So happy with this TV/Desktop/Internet Browser Multimedia Able Screen – Value for money. Excellent picture & sound quality & ample options to adjust these. Plenty of USB & HDMI ports on , the side (where you can reach without moving the tv). Very smart tv - can get to Netflix, Stan, Youtube & many other online multimedia channels that I have never heard of it needing different entertainment options. Foxtel doesn't… Read more
work however but this is a Foxtel problem (too restrictive with whom they let play their channels). Very light so 1 person can move if necessary. Reasonable ergonomic remote that has buttons placed where you would put your fingers. Still waiting for GLOW in the dark button on a remote from someone. Good number of speaker, headphone and other ports however require 2 people to move tv to reach these which is difficult. Thin frame & screen border so fits on ledges and gives you the most tv picture on screen. Can hook up computer, extra speakers, bigger hard drive (stored movies & music) & so on, & easily switch to these if you want a multi-use use desktop (ie big computer screen). Would buy brand again. Easy to set up, only legs to attach. Not too much packaging to get rid of.
Hisence Makes Sense – Despite having recent problems with a smart TV (see my review on the TCL Smart TV), I bit the bullet and purchased a Hisense 32N4 32” Smart TV from Harvey Norman Fyshwick on 21st January, 2018. The Quick Setup Guide made the basic installation easy but the lack of a User Manual with the TV was very disappointing. After some searching on the… Read more
internet I did manage to find and download a User Manual but unfortunately the manual left a lot to be desired especially in respect of the “Timeshift” and “PVR” functions.
I was eventually able to get these features to work (something that I could not do with the TCL Smart TV) but must note that the PVR function is very limited. If you use the PVR feature you can watch the channel being recorded but do not have access to any other channels or features.
The picture quality and sound are good but the volume level on Netflix is very low. To be fair this might just be a problem with the Netflix Application.
It my opinion it is a good basic second TV.

The dumbest "smart tv" in existence – The operating system (opera) is woeful. Doesn't have AV out (as alas many TVs these days), otherwise has sufficient ports. Wireless connects, but that's it. Cannot access iview or similar, so all in all, a complete dog. Show details
Hinsence 55n4 EPG tuning – Re EPG - It is a pain having to reset constantly - I have had my 55n4 For a couple of years but had Foxtel for tuning etc - Cancelled Foxtel a month ago and found the EPG annoying because of lack of memory, However I found that by manually going thru channel 1 to 15 when you go to EPG you will get most channels tuned to EPG, I think that this… Read more
is a lack of foresight by Hisence to do this, My wife has a 32 inch Hinsence Tv in her nursing home room and it remembers all the channels.
Good TV – This is my first Smart TV, (I'm an oldie and the previous dumb one failed). Setting up was no real problem and the new Hisense does all of the versatile things I expected of this well priced Smart TV. Sound and picture quality are quite acceptable and altho' I still have a bit to learn, overall I am quite satisfied with it. LL Show details · 1
Will never buy a Hisense product again! – About 6 months after purchase, Netflix and Stan apps stopped working. We bought this TV for its 'smart' capabilities but they stopped working, rendering the TV a normal non-smart device which allows us only to browse free to air channels like a regular $300 TV. Hisense are no help as have contacted them for troubleshooting twice now with no… Read more
solution. Have also contacted Netflix but the issue is with the TV's capability to host the app correctly. Hisense say this isn't covered under the 3 year warranty and will not send out a technician to review or replace. Sound quality is also not good, gets very loud and then very soft on a range shows and movies. If you want a reliable product, I wouldn't buy anything Hisense.
TV or not a TV – I recently purchased a 55” Hisense Smart TV – model 55N4. I have had issues since purchase but ignored them for a while, these are; When you press the EPG (Electronic Program Guide) button the guide appears but has no program against all channels except the one it opens on. If I go to Netflix or any other external programs and return back to the… Read more
TV it has lost all the programs again. I have to click on every station and press OK to see the guide – 6 to 8 times a day, taking up lots of time. I contacted your Hisense support and after a few months resetting firmware, reset to default etc, they have just come back today and advised that this is normal for the TV - apparently lack of RAM. After 6 months of talking to there help line I have been told this is normal with most TV's and that's that. I I am very unhappy with the TV as we use the guide constantly. I have discussed this issue with many other people who have other brands as well as my past experience with Sony, LG and Samsung. So far no one else has this problem with their TV’s. Cant wait for it to break, so I can get another brand. I will check all features in the store next time.
Been a good cheap tv – We purchased this with Christmas gift vouchers at JB HIFI and three years has pasted without any issues at all. Picture quailty has been good but the smart functions are very user frienldy and very slow. We use apple tv any way and its price point was the reason for this purchase. Show details
terrible sound quality, but great picture – internal speakers do not have a good sound quality or depth at all. it has few options to connect external speakers.. Apart from that, the picture quality is very good, Sound quality and volume let it down . It is light and easy to move. remote is easy to use , but I have told my friends to purchase other televisions that have better sound quality, especially if music is important to you . Doesn't have Bluetooth Show details

Great quality – Tv has great pic, all the needed smart tv features that work perfectly. Once i adjusted the settings for pic and sound to how i like it the tv is perfect. I cannot fault it. The remote is easy. The navigation and connectivity has been perfect. I'm very happy with the purchase and the price ensured it was great value. Show details
A good simple tv – There is nothing fancy about this tv, but nothing wrong with it either. It has all the apps you want (netflix, stan, ivew etc) and gives an ok picture. We had one small problem with one of the apps disappearing, but the customer support people were great and talked me through fixing it over the phone. I'm happy. Show details
Stay away from Hisense if you don't want a huge headache – Very disappointed in both the product and technical support. Bought a brand new TV, after a week I found a fault with it and for the last 3 months Hisense, after 20 phone calls, has done nothing to fix the issue. Just to pushed me around. If I had know before how they relate to fixing their mistakes and the low quality of the TV, I would not… Read more
have bought it!
Try to give a new name a chance and this is what you get. There is a reason why it's a no name brad.
Luckily the manager at JB Hi-Fi knows what customer care is and was of great help.
UPDATE: I got a replacement , same brand, brand new TV. In a few weeks same problems occurred, and I moved to another brand. Again, praise to JB Hi-fi awesome guys.
The best TV I've ever owned so far – So far to date the Hisense 4N is one of the best TVs I have ever owned at home. The picture is good, the sound quality is better than any of my older TVs apart from the old box TVs those had better speackers. It was also on the lower price scale Show details
Affordable but you get what you pay for – It is value for money, reliable runs good, it is partially smart build in You tube and net flex runs very well and catch up TV too is a good interface, yet the processor is a bit slow when you try to access the catch up TV or the setup menu. I still recommend it since it is 950 compared to other good yes who worth like 1400 or 1500 Show details
Perfect Bedroom TV at a great price – Purchased this as a bedroom tv and I’m very pleased with the product especially for the price (got it on sale for $504). Starts up very quickly, sound is perfectly suitable for bedroom use. Picture quality is excellent. In terms of smart capabilities, I’m using it primarily for Netflix however the Freeview plus is a great addition. Definitely recommend this for a bedroom or small living area. Show details
Great TV – Super happy with my TV, it was my first time buying a TV for myself and I couldn’t of chosen better. The price was perfect as well. I purchased mine through Harvey Norman. I’m looking at buying a second TV as well for my lounge room now and I will definitely be buying another Hisense branded TV in a bigger size but I think the 39inch was perfect for my small bedroom. Love love love it – We just got this tv and I am loving the integration with apps. The picture is amazing and I'm glad the salesman talked us into it now. Sound quality is great too... almost too good.. constantly telling my partner to turn it down when he is playing games. Only issue is doesn't have a pc connection for our security cameras... but thats minor. Show details
Very poor service from Hisense – Absolutely disgraceful service from Hisense. Xmas present worked well, however water from an air con damaged unit. Took it to authorised service agent on 2nd Feb and after wrong parts delivered, a further month waiting for parts that didn't arrive then advised another 6-8 weeks for parts. I give up, TV heading for bin and lesson learned. Never again Hisense. No intention to claim warranty, was intending to pay for full repair. Show details

Great – Good for bedroom and kids bedroom. Very happy with this product. Sound good for the sports and great for Netflix or Stan. Xbox was ok. Quality of the picture was great. Has enough ports for Xbox and DVD player. Does take time to download apps sometimes rather than this it’s a great tv. Well recommended for kids bedroom or just a Xbox or PlayStation tv Show details
goes from off to netflix/youtube with one click – The picture quality is satisfactory and will not disappoint for sport. The sound from the unit is above average, though at this price-point some speakers should be also purchased. I have mine as-is and am not deafened by the commercials so thats a plus. Some time in menu-land pays off here, as there are heaps of settings. The HDMI ports are… Read more
becoming obsolete with TVs so I employ just the one for an xbox, it works for me not against me. The remote control buttons perhaps could be of a higher plastic quality (instead of rubbery) indeed, but the one-button Youtube and the one-button Netflix secured my purchase.
If you want a slow tv, buy this – The picture quality is fine. But this unit is terribly slow. You can't skip the ad because by the time it registers your command to skip the ad, you will have finished watching it anyway. It hangs and turns off on it's own at times. Drops the wifi at times and at times works fine. I recommend to spend some extra money and buy a samsung or lg and get satisfaction for the money you spent. Show details
Do not buy!!!! – Do not buy!!!! The screen fades into black every 5 minutes to the point where I have to turn the tv off and back on. It drives me crazy. The only thing I like about this tv is it’s sound system. I loved the Samsung I had. I thought I should try this out but it is poor quality. Show details
Great quality – One of the best televisions we have owned, had larger brands in the past but nothing has compared to this one especially when you compare prices. Screen quality is great, There is no delay with fast movements, great connections, not heavy and easy to wall mount. Would highly recommend this brand! Show details

It is a great smart tv, with all the ports needed such as; hdmi, usb etc. I enjoy watching my videos off my phone on my smart tv too. It has all the apps I need, such as netflix and you tube. Beautiful picture, awesome TV – Wow what an upgrade! I went from the first and most basic flat screens to this in one jump. I LOVE the smart functions and the picture bows me away every time I turn it on. The colours are so vibrant and it has really good dark separation too. The sound quality is quite decent. maybe not the best ever because TV's just don't have the room for big… Read more
speakers anymore but more than OK. The menu is a bit overwhelming at first but I have the hang of it now,. It is a great TV with no obvious faults and I think anybody would love it,.
LOVE IT – This tv is my new best friend! Very satisfied! Picture quality is fantastic, sound is wicked, plenty of ports for an additional plug ins. Apps and Netflix are such a great convenience. I cancel plans to stay home and watch Netflix in my bed. Screen size is absolutely perfect. Totally love it! Show details
Absolutely fantastic HD quality – Wow, what an amazing TV. This was my first ever HD TV purchase and what a difference it has made. The picture quality is fantastic. Seamless set up...took about 5 minutes to be honest. The built in speakers are great and has all the ports you would need. I love how the controls have a netflix button and youtube button so VERY QUICK! If you're after a great quality TV for a very reasonable price then no need to look any further :) Show details
Amazing – The picture quality on this tv is amazing. I find that it's very clear. There are a few hdmi ports at the back. The built in speakers are great I think you get the full effect of them when watching a movie. Yes the smart system works fine love it Can use YouTube Netflix etc etc. Show details
Good but slow – Had this tv for about 6 months and it works amazingly the only thing wrong it that it takes ages to load anything on the internet and the timer decides when it would like to actually work other than that the picture is good, the sound is good and the price was good. Show details
Love This Awesome TV – This was a present to myself and a big upgrade from the 32 inch I had. All I can say is 'wow' about the picture. It still impresses me all the time. It is so sharp with excellent colours - like the first time you upgrade to an iPhone. The remote is good. It looks complicated but you soon figure it out. The only thing and it's true with lots of TVs… Read more
these days, is the sound quality. The speakers are not as good as the screen so I am looking into getting one of those sound bars to go with it. Overall an excellent TV.
Happy with tv for price – Happy with this tv for what we paid. Had not heard of this brand before but got a good price and so far very happy with it. Crisp, clean images and loads quickely - no waiting for the display to sharpen like other cheap tbs. Speakers are very good and don't get fuzzy even when on max volume. Thin and sleek design. Would happily recommend. Show details
