Best value for money
This tv is great period!
I've been using it for over 3 months now.
The only catch is that you need to play with picture settings to get that perfect picture.
There is minimal lag or motion blur.
It has dedicated sports and gaming mode.
I had to change the HDMI settings to use HDMI enhanced format for the perfect picture in 4K
I would happily buy hisense again given their 3 years warranty.
Purchased in January 2021 at Harvey Norman Online for $996.00.

Shocking manufacture quality
The user manual that comes with the TV instructed to place it flat face down on a soft surface in order to install the stand. We did that and then we started to lift the TV from flat to upright, being extra careful to not touch the screen so as not to damage it. While lifting it with hands flat on the frame, the frame popped out of its place and became detached. Result: cracked screen and TV unusable. I contacted HiSense to request a repair or replacement under warranty but they claim the damage is the result of "physical force" and it is there...fore not covered. I would say the only physical force that was responsible for the damage is gravity, and that the frame is not built properly to withstand the weight of the TV. The user manual also doesn't provide any indication as to how to correctly lift the TV to upright position. It's shocking. If you go check the pictures of the frame for the new series of HiSense TVs that followed this one, it's clear they had to change the type of frame, as the new models have a much thicker edge. I highly discourage anyone from purchasing this TV or HiSense ever.

Questions & Answers
What is the difference between Hisense S5 series and Hisense S8 series televisions?
I had this same question asked to my sales representative in the shop, he told me that both S5 and S8 are all current models for production. And S5 is in production for only two months of a year and S8 is the same. So assumed it differentiates these two series. S5 and S8 are all current sale models on the market.
