- ULED 75Q8 (75")
$2,500 for a 75" with FALD - use the savings from Sony to buy a Chromecast if you want a proper "smart TV" :)
Having read reviews on the Q8, we knew in advance to get a separate smart TV dongle - such as Mi Box S or Chromecast TV. Once you do a few tweaks with the settings (Rtings has some good tips for the US H9G equivalent), this is a killer TV. Stan sport looks great, and it plays 4k 60Hz content flawlessly.
The big feature of this bad boy - FALD or full area local dimming which is terrific for those "darker" movies like Christian Bale Batman.
ARC works seamlessly (turns the Denon AVR on/off) so you only need 1 remote for most general usage.
Cons - the USB ports don't have enough power to run a chromecast,
Purchased in March 2021 at VideoPro for $2,500.00.
