Hoka OneOne
Unbelievable comfortable, extraordinarily poorly constructed.
Its a tough but honest review, just love the comfort and support of the Arahi 2 when I had 'THEM', problem.is they are just not very durable and poorly constructed as shoes kept coming apart where the lower side section of shoes meet the sole, Hoka where good over time to replace not one bu two pairs over the course of 18 months, thing is though if you are paying a premium price for running shoes competing with the well establish big names you have to get all things right, in the end they gave me a pair of Arahi 3's, though they have been more ...
Read moredurable the heel support has recently failed on left foot after approx 14 months of use, these are not quite as comfortable as their predecessor but still off good support....I'm a regular 5-10km jogger who does not run any faster than 14km/hr, so I think its fair to say I expect more for my money.- Product Quality

Comfortable but not very durable
Overall comfortable and good for daily runs, but in terms of durability Hoka are definitely inferior to Nike - after just 3 months of running, I can see several signs of wear and tear - stickers coming off, a hole at the back, etc. I usually expect running shoes to last at least a year, 3 months is a bit too soon

Speed goat 5 is not very good for a Terain shoe
Into my third pair of Hoka One one. first two pairs I could not really fault as a trail runner. But the "Speed goat 5" are just not cutting it on so many fronts. I find that they lack upper foot support. they have less cushioning at the front so I feel jaggered rocks pushing though the sole more as I pass over them. the upper material is much more flexible loosing the strong support around the foot on uneven terrain. On a section of track I was negotiating I found that the heel of the shoe had slipped around and that I was stepping into the sid...
Read moree wall. As i passed through some wet areas of the track where I have done many times before the Speed goat 5 just let the water straight in this never happened on my previous Hoka One One Atr shoes. I would much more reccomend the "Speed Goat 5" for a dirt road runner more so than a ATR. SrpWilson- Product Quality

Comfortable but not durable for an expensive shoe.
I purchased three pairs of Bondi seven on recommendation from my podiatrist. One pair for walking one as casual one pair as a work shoe. In three months the walking shoes have worn through the inner lining creating blisters and the soles show excessive wear. The cushioning in the work shoes soles has completely collapsed now offering no support at all. I would not recommend the shoes very expensive for low quality.

Ora Recovery flip - Hoka OneOne
Hoka has changed the design of the Ora Recovery flip and now the straps sit back further so it doesn't give you a comfortable fit. Lived in the original version and when the toe strap broke ordered another 2 pairs however, they do not fit foot properly due to the poor design ie foot tends to flop about. Didnt realise the design had changed until I received the new pairs, they are ok but harder to walk in. Wouldn't buy again.

Overpriced and poor quality
I am not a runner or an athlete. I do a lot of walking with my dog and that is about it. My physiotherapist recommended Hoka Bondi 7 Wide as I injured the tendon in my ankle. He said they would be very supportive. Priced at $270 they were very disappointing. As with other reviews the quality is terrible. After only a month they seem to have lost support. Its like the material has stretched and become floppy. I don't feel supported at all in them (unlike when I tried them on in the shop - they felt wonderful then). Update: by July 2021 the plas...
Read moretic support on the back of the heel had broken through the material. I couldn’t wear them as my heels would bleed from the plastic digging into them. Took them back and was served by an amazing guy called Matt who actually works for Hoka. He was so helpful and professional. He explained this was a problem with the Bondi but has now been rectified. So I got a new pair and he has sent the old ones back to Hoka for a refund. Very good customer service and genuinely concerned about my experience. I still think they are an over rated shoe but was very impressed with the customer service by Matt. I hope the new pair don’t fall apart!- Product Quality

Not a good design for everyone
I thought I had found the perfect wide walking shoe but after a few months I was limping home. The sneakers caused so much pain in my glut tendon. I think they’re just too high at the back. After an X-ray, CT scan and cortisone injection I went out and bought another pair of Brooks.

Most comfortable shoe ever.......BUT
So this was my 4th pair of Hoka shoes. Most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. They were recommended to me years ago to wear to work, I am a nurse working 12 hr shifts and they were amazing. My feet rarely felt tired again after a shift. But EVERY pair I've owned have had durability issues. I purchased a pair of Gaviota 2's last February, within 3 weeks the sole had started to come off. Hoka were great and replaced the shoes promptly. Now in the last 4 weeks the inner lining of the heel has torn away exposing the plastic "heel cup" behind. I ha...
Read moreve a pair of Saucony shoes that pre date all my Hoka purchases and have been relegated to yard shoes and they are still structurally good. For a $260 pair of 10 month old shoes that essentially is only used for walking and standing this shouldn't be happening. Sorry Hoka....time for a change. :(- Product Quality

Not as great as some reviews have recommended.
I was recommended these shoe by Athlete's foot and they have caused nothing but calf pain. At first I had thought it was due to weak muscles. After, strengthening exercises, conditioning work and frequent massages (including dry needling) I was still in pain during long runs. Turns it was the shoe! The shoe is what is called a bare foot runner which is not great for those with pronate. The running specialist I spoke said he would never stock the shoe because he feels it is dangerous to a runners health.
After a recommendation of Brook's, I am back out running with no calf pain.
Be careful of the hype behind the Hoka shoe.
