Speed goat 5 is not very good for a Terain shoe
Into my third pair of Hoka One one. first two pairs I could not really fault as a trail runner. But the "Speed goat 5" are just not cutting it on so many fronts. I find that they lack upper foot support. they have less cushioning at the front so I feel jaggered rocks pushing though the sole more as I pass over them. the upper material is much more flexible loosing the strong support around the foot on uneven terrain. On a section of track I was negotiating I found that the heel of the shoe had slipped around and that I was stepping into the sid...
Read moree wall. As i passed through some wet areas of the track where I have done many times before the Speed goat 5 just let the water straight in this never happened on my previous Hoka One One Atr shoes. I would much more reccomend the "Speed Goat 5" for a dirt road runner more so than a ATR. SrpWilsonWorst customer service

Comfortable shoe but low quality and terrible service.
I bought a pair of Bondi 6 shoes for $230 fitted by athlete’s foot. I injured myself and so didn’t run for about 9 months, following this I started jogging a few time a week and soon my new shoes split open - this was at 13 months after purchase and about 60km in total of running. Hoka did not care that their shoes fell apart but just said it is out of warranty good luck.

Clifton 4 and Napali
Curiosity killed the cat and I stumped up for a pair of Hokas.
According to BMI, I'm overweight and I enjoy weight training. Running long distances has never been fun because of the excess weight, pounding and friction (as well as poor running form) on my knees and ankles, but I really liked running. My podiatrist put me on heavily stabilised running focused cross trainers (Asics) after recovering from another ankle injury. I lost some weight post recovery I wanted to try something which would give me an even wider platform and loads of cushion...
