Device would not pair with my phone.
Discovered it had been returned previously.
Purchased another brand. Discovered it had been returned faulty also but managed to get another timer that worked.
Purchased in February 2021.
A good unit, software could use a little tweaking. Bluetooth performance is good.
Been using the BTX8 for a over a year now on our small rural property with a large 3 phase submersible bore.
It's been a good unit, and handy as I don't have to go into my shed now to program or use the controller, just leave it in the "run and connect" mode. I can stand within about 5 metres of the (steel) shed and use it. Lets me see straight away if a station is not working or a pipe has burst.
The bluetooth works well, a lot more convenient than some others that make their own wireless network.
Just one suggestion, there's no way to manuall...

Preety good, needs to be able to pair to other phones with permission
Pretty good, easy to program, need to be able to pair with more than one phone though.
App Software can be confusing, but easy to understand once you have worked with it for a while
Overall reasonable value for money
Would be great to have a contractor logon and wifi ideally

Needs a contractor function.
The controller would be so much better we as landscape contractors could set the unit up for the client without needing them to be on site to use their phone.
Also we need it on our phone to test the system as the bluetooth works great for adjusting sprinklers.
Good idea just not aimed at landscapers

I bought a Hollman WX8 a few months ago from Bunnings. It has been working fine. Now the app says it’s “offline”. When I went to the unit it has no power. Nothing lights up at all. Any ideas?
try a hard reset, with battery removed and the unit turned off

Now no phone will even see it on there Bluetooth
