Crap place to shop. Dont buy from here
I ordered an item online only to be told that the item is no longer available and it was accidentally uploaded and shouldnt have been. I have already made the hole ready for the product and now need to pay for a new one that is $2500 more expensive !!! What a scam. Offered a $100 voucher which is not acceptable.
Bad Delivery/Installation experience
I order a washing machine and a dryer. The dryer hade some leakage, and their was people from the installation/delivery team 3 times and didn´t manage to fix the problem. A very stressful and time consuming process and I need to spend loads of time chasing the home-clearance team to get help. They promised to call back several times and didn´t come back so I needed to chase them.
I think their products are good (the washing machine I bought was good) but overall not a good experience, maybe I just was unlucky with the delivery/installation but I can´t recommend them.
Buyer Beware - Gaggenau Warranties Are Not Honored
Purchased a Gaggenau Combi Steam Oven with a standard 2-year warranty via this website. The oven is defective (it leaks, see attached pic) and a Gaggenau technician attended my property four times before classifying it is an "installation issue". When asked, Gaggenau have been unable/unwilling to detail how my oven has been installed incorrectly - something you would expect possible following four site inspections. I have emailed Gaggenau Customer Service a copy of the installation manual and photos of my installed oven, seeking a written respo...nse. Furthermore, the technician attending site from Gaggenau damaged my cabinetry. All matters are outstanding and have been now since the matter was first reported in July 2020. Gaggenau seem to have settled on classifying this as an “installation issue” which means, in their words, they don’t have any further responsibilities. Warranty is worthless. Buyer beware. Reported to Home Clearance 12.01.21 as I have given up on Gaggenau!!! [UPDATE 29.03.21] - numerous emails and commitments from staff have been received - but no action has been taken, nor has there been a singular point of contact identified to resolve this issue.
Poor communication skills
My order did not arrive. No text from the driver explaining why. I have called the 1300 number 5 times now over the past 2 days, each time I have spoken to different staff members who have said to me that they would find out what happened to my parcel and call me back with an update. But not one of them have.
Warning do not buy
Do not buy from this business I ordered a stainless steel dishwasher it arrived white when I phoned to rectify I was spoken to aggressively by [name removed] then,the manager [name removed] was appauling, rude and should not be in the business of customer service, so rude and unprofessional and they ripp you off I now have to pay 20 % for nothing. Warning do no buy from these low lifes
Purchased a Beko dishwasher just over 1 year ago (May2019) worked fine. Now has an error code and leaked all over my kitchen. Rang Beko who told me I only had 12months as it is second hand which I did not know and my paperwork reads as new and it came in original packaging. I then rang Home clearance who told me all products were tested then I told them mine was in original packaging he then told me not all are tested and to take it up with Beko or buy a new one, he also informed me they are clearance so that means seconds which I did not know.... I figured I was buying something that had never been used had all its paper work and original packaging I was buying a new product but no if it’s clearance I now know that means it’s second hand. Will not purchase from these guys again as I now have a faulty machine that will cost more than it’s worth to fix, dirty dishes and a flooded kitchen to clean up thanks so much Beko and Home Clearance.
Poor delivery and no communication
My delivery was due to be delivered yesterday, we were supposed to receive a text before 11AM with a delivery time. No text was received, I called their customer support at 12, they said they would call me back, I didn't receive a call so I called again at 3PM, I was told there was an error and it would be delivered today, again no text received before 11AM this morning, I called again at 11AM this morning, I couldn't get any information, the operator Michael said he would call me back in 20 minutes, that hasn't happened either. I ordered and paid for the item a week ago, they have had plenty of time to deliver the product. We have taken time off work to receive the item which is the most annoying part of our experience.
Purchased a Panasonic TV
Just purchased a Panasonic 55" tv from them few weeks ago. The description of the item was showed on the their website, "missing part" which was missing the manual. So I thought, that's not a problem and I gave them a call to ask more details. They told me it was "NEW", just missing a manual and had no box....They delivered the item to me on time and I installed it easily. But...until I went to open my Netflix... what I found..is already had an accounts in Netflix..I was shocked. I called them straight away and the operator on the phone sai...d maybe they set up an account on Netflix for testing. But I said, it wasn't only 1 account for testing but the whole family accounts there "Dad, mum, and 2 children" . It has been used. So he said if you are not satisfied it, you can return it. What kind of service is that. I was angry because I asked them, was it New at the first place and I purchased it. And also come with not warranty card. They said they are keeping it, if I need any service, just call them.
No stock -took money- refunded
Ordered a dishwasher, they accepted order and I paid, delivery included, they run out of stock. they left it to the last minute to advise me. Absolutely incredible bad company to deal with, never again, will I order from them.
Don't worry about warrants.
Bought a fridge 2 1/2 years ago with 3 year warranty. Fridge broke down 3 weeks ago. They still haven't done anything about it. Only thing left is court proceedings.
November 7th 2019 Update: This is ridiculous. Another 48hours.
Got an email this morning saying that someone would ring today to sort things out. To gutless to ring me, so send a text saying another 48 hours. With the time already waited. We will be up to waiting time of 552. What a joke.
Would not pay to fix damaged goods in transit!
Purchased a Smeg oven with a mirrored front panel at a bargin price. The oven was shipped with a small cardboard panel and bubble wrap only to protect it.
The following day upon inspection - the front panel was completely shattered.
I phoned up but the warehouse was closed on Saturdays so I sent an email with photos.
When I got a call back on Monday - I was told it couldnt be replaced as they no longer have them in stock. That was fine - completely understood its a clearance outlet they dont have a huge stock.
I asked about repairs and they said it would cost too much. They offered me a refund.
Damaged goods delivered cheap nasty product buyer beware
Purchased a bathroom vanity and placed into storage when it was time to renovate the bathroom opened the packaging to find the vanity had extensive damage. Sent them photos and the rude operator was not interested in helping at all. Gave me a lame excuse we cannot chase it up with the courier company its been too long, instead of taking responsibility and helping a customer. The product was cheap I would not recommend buying from them $500 down the drain thanks.
Bought NEW, delivered DAMAGED
Have successfully bought from this company before and happy with the service and product.
Bought a NEW runout model Bosch dishwasher, without damage. Item was delivered within the delivery window, but it was dumped on my front verandah. Item was obviously damaged on arrival and photos taken.
This is a free standing dishwasher and the damage is very obvious. I unpack the dishwasher and take more photos. I ring the company as well as email the photos.
I get a very disinterested so sad too bad phone call back with a paltry offer of a $50 refund.
I bought a new undamaged item.
I told them that that was not sufficient.
My next call is Fair Trading.
Even new products damage!!!!
Make sure you check the product AND take photos when you receive. New sink came cracked and they don’t take any responsibility. Very rude as well. Looks like when you pay less you get less respect!!!!
Also purchased 2 ovens (clearly said they had 5) they rang me a month after saying they only have 1! And again no help or substitution. Had to pay and have my kitchen redesigned.
In one sentence, DO NOT buy from them!!!
Bought an item that couldnt be found in the warehouse

Bought an item, Billi chilled filtered water system, paid for via paypal. Received the emails to confirm my order, and to advise payment was received. On the day of delivery, today, received a phone call to say the item could not be found in the warehouse and the order was cancelled. I asked if they could have another look in the warehouse, or could another one be sourced from another state to fulfill my accepted order, not an option.
I so wanted this item and am very disappointed as it was to be install...
