Back to Griffins mint slice
Disappointing all round experience very bad chocolate coating stale biscuit and very little mint slice very disappointed palm oil was used need to look at chocolate supplier or recipe used lots of great chocolate suppliers out there. Also this biscuit did not travel well with a white coating over half of outside of biscuit.
Just overall bad biscuit
Bad tasting chocolate and hardly any mint
I thought I'd try these biscuits as I find the Arnott's mint slice too rich and sweet in taste. But the Homebrand version turned out to be a very disappointing experience. The chocolate tasted cheap and the slice of mint can hardly be seen or taste, so you feel like you're eating a plain chocolate biscuit dipped in some bad chocolate!
To make matters worse, I turned over the packet to read the ingredients only to find that palm oil is used. You can be sure that I'll never buy these again.
Inexpensive at just $1.59 per packet.
Made with palm oil.
