Sorry But
The motorcycle that should never have been marketed. With the CT110 and ''Postie 125' that followed this bike filled a void no one even noticed. I'm a Honda kind but this is plain fuglyme. Looks like a scrapped Taiwanese after market jigsaw puzzle that doesn't quite come together. OK their 125 was Pulitzer for its time 70's wise, butt back then Honda attracted people who didn't ride bikes. Another example of ''you get what you pay for'' - a cheap, ugly, underpowered, generator with wheels. poor aftermarket value is obvious.OverallBuild QualityValue for MoneyCleaning & MaintenanceNoise Level

CB 125 E on Highways and Freeways
Having read the review that says stay way from highways I think this is completely incorrect, I have ridden the cb125 e to Blue Mounains and Canberra no problems at all. Indeed the engine keeps the sped bug at bay and allows a novice to get used to long curves at a good high speed. If speed is your thing then you should look at going to a raceway or speed park to try out high speed training and not the highways or freeways.June 6th 2016 Update:

car range. I found this out to my detriment last weekend when I picked up a puncture and the repair kit I had was absolutely useless. To top it off I had to wait over 3 hours for a tow truck to arrive and it was freezing cold (minus 2 over at Richmond, Sydney)... Not happy Jan...Hayley52 Aus

stalls and backfires
I have owned a cb125e for over 6 months now. It seemed fine at first but then it started stalling when I stopped and back firing as I was driving. There were times I've had to idle it for over 15 minutes with the choke on or it would shall. I also had it stall on me at traffic lights and round abouts when I stop. I've taken it back to the shops a few times and they can't find a problem, I have been told to drain out the fuel before use. This seemed to help for a while but it's back to its old tricks again...think I'm gonna take it back and... Read more get a fast scooter...that's what I wanted in the first place. Shame though it is a really nice looking bike, cheap to buy and cheap to run. cheap, great looking bike stalls and backfires. not reliable and unsafejay - dee AU

1 in a million chance of this happening
I bought the cb125e because the price was so good compared to a second hand bike. Was pretty happy with the bike for about a month, riding to work and cursing with others on weekends. Had 2000ks on the clock and the bike broke down in between home and work. Had to get it towed back to the dealership. The engine was gone and thankfully would be rebuilt under warranty. So I've had the bike for 2 months now half of which the bike had been at the dealership in peices, waiting for parts from japan, because none of the parts are in Australia. Hope I get my bike back soon. I'm itching to ride!the price is unbeatable
lack of parts being so new, or maybe the dealership taking their sweet time doing nothing

Points of praise for the Honda CB125E
- Reviewers often reported that this Honda motorbike is especially easy to clean and maintain. Many also appreciated that they were able to service and maintain their Honda CB125E themselves, saving them the money and time of having to go visit a mechanic.
- A lightweight build makes this motorcycle easy to manoeuvre. This helped to build up learner bikers’ confidence, even though this bike is not necessarily designed for speed or power, or superior acceleration, with its 124cc engine capacity.
- Fuel efficiency as well as other running costs are reported to be low, with the petrol tank also being generously sized, at 14L. If you’re not doing too many long-distance rides, you won’t have to refill too frequently if you opt for a full tank each time.
- A quiet riding experience was enjoyed by many reviewers, with any exhaust and mechanical noise being soft.
