Great on fuel and fun to drive
I use this car basically every day to commute to work as well as long road trips on the weekends. There's heaps of room in the back for friends to fit in as well as a deceptively larger boot than expected which is awesome.
I got all the bells and whistles on my Honda, so it has the sensors, etc which I think are a godsend when you're on the highway and are on cruise control. I love that there's seat heaters and that the A/C can be adjusted for each person individually.
Cost on fuel and zipping around is great and on the open road this car is...such a pleasure to drive. I get the car serviced by Peter Warren Honda every year since I got it in 2017 and there hasn't been 1 issue with it since that time. Great car to grab if you're after a sedan.

New Honda civic car does have the style and safety features you most needed. One of the features I don't like is the lane keeping feature; it not perfect might be few reason, sensing does not reading the lines properly or lines on the road are not clear apart from this i loving it. And also we had a beautiful experience with Westside Honda. A special thank you note to Nate for your exceptional customer service and the wealth of knowledge made our decisions more easier. I have no hesitation to recommend Nate ad Westside Honda team for a stress free experience.
Onboard Tech in really disappointing
I took delivery of my Honda Civic VTi-LX on Friday 28 September 2018 – at this point I would say that whilst the car has some awesome sensors, there are some things that I am quite disappointed about. I was previously driving a Mazda 3 Astina 2014 model and quite frankly the tech in that car was better than the 2018 Honda!
• Automatic High Beam – going back to having to use my high beam again has certainly been a nuisance and a step backwards
• Onboard Maps – the maps provided from Garmin are very out of date. The home I am living in was...
Near flawless, a well-made and thoughtful car
I have owned my MY17 Civic for 14 months now. I cannot recommend it enough and am totally satisfied with my purchase. The car in question is a VTi-LX with the 1.5L turbo engine.
The economy is good for a medium sized car. We usually get around ~5.5L/100km on highway and ~8.5L/100km in town. We are reasonably spirited drivers. When I have tried to be economical, I can get it down to <5L/100km on highway.
The interior is just lovely. I really can't believe what you get for the money. I was tossing up between the Civic and the Mazda3 and wa...s totally sold on the Civic interior. I am quite tall and can sit comfortably in the back. The fit and finish is great. It is solid and well-made- there are no flimsy pieces of trim to shatter the illusion. The leather is soft and feels of good quality. The styling is very smart, in my mind. My only issue is that the swept roofline makes accessing infant capsules in the back a hassle. The boot is very large- we were able to fit a stroller, a highchair, a port-a-cot, beach gear and towels, two small suitcases, a few deliveroo bags of gear, an eski, two pillows and a bag of shoes on a recent trip. It's like tetris, but it can be done. The ride quality is very smooth, and I have found the car to be whisper quiet. The noise depends on the road surface obviously, and it's not a Rolls Royce, but seriously, it's good. Wind noise is not a problem until ~110kmh and even then is fine.
Civic VTI-LX 2017
Urban running costs are a bit high for short distance travels. The back seat passengers have to bear the heat on a hot day as the car lacks back ac vents. With ac in the urban running costs are abnormally very high for the size of the car.
No stop start technology. If they had this it would have been a big winner for Honda.
Reliability no issues. Being a top end car doesn't have any special batching or appearance.
Long distances on freeway has good economy as depicted by Honda.
The seats are too low and for the passenger side are abnormally lower and cannot be adjusted. For a person who is taller this is not a car to go for.

Best car I have had ever
The new Honda Civic is the best car I have had, so happy with the overall performance. On a trip I am getting 4.7 litres per 100 kms and around the city 7.0 litres . I am so happy with the running cost especially at this time with the high cost of petrol.
The car is so quiet and smooth on the road and I open the sun roof and feel and hear the breeze.
The entire interior is great, radio, air conditioner and GPS so easy to use. I am not a very tall person but my family say even with the driver seat pushed back the overall legroom in the car is fabulous.
My car is a very dark blue and I absolutely recommend Honda to all.
I was very lucky to have Yuki Wang the best ever Car Sales person at Nordic Honda - Adelaide.
Thank you Honda.
