Terrible Dealer Shellharbour City Motors - Honda Dealer

Okay, on the phone they say car (Honda Civic) is only driven 500 kilometres and comes at $24000 with $500 accessories. They say they can consider bringing it down a bit if meet in person. They say the offer expires on 31st December.
When you go meet them, they said the car is 1500 kilometres instead of 500 kilometres. They say they cannot bring the price down (firm at $24000, which I think would be okay). But terrible manager says access...ories will not be included. (even if the offer is valid until 31st December) If you go few days later, and ask for $24000, they said they cannot sell it at that price. They said they updated the price which is $24990. (wait...didn't you say that offer is valid until 31st December? and I'm making offer on 28th December.) Why wasting time of busy people if you cannot stick to your words and promises? This is enough, I am getting a good offer from Volkswagen and Kia who at least keep their promises.
Hondas bought from Wangara Honda.
My wife and I have Hondas which were bought in 2017 (my wife's car , Civic), and early 2019 ( my car, a CR-V). Both were new cars, and both bought at Wangara Honda. Both of us are very happy with our purchases, and the service we get from WH, is very pleasing. In the time we have had our cars there hasn't been any problem whatso ever. I can highly recommend WH, and when the time comes to renew my car, it will highly likely be a new Honda.
Disappointed with Honda
My purchase of a Honda Jazz has not been a happy experience since I got it in March 2020. The now out of business dealership told me it had a 5 year Warranty, it didn't. Dealer refused to give me a tax invoice. A strange noise in the dash cannot be fixed. Rust has developed on the car, even though it has been garaged and only driven once or twice a week since April. The customer service person behaved like I was unreasonable to ask a manager at Honda Australia to tell me why they are not taking responsibility for allowing poor behaviour from franchisees. I had an expectation of a written apology from Honda Australia and got the impression that I would not get one. My experience has been very disappointing.

Best dealer ever after 36 years of driving
Have purchased a new Honda Civic hatch September 29th 2020, and previously owned a 1997 Honda Odyessey and have found the family owned business to go far and above any other new or used car dealership we have ever come across. They have given us the really good advice, have gone beyond expectation with sourcing and servicing, no lie, & no pressure sales, and high professionalism. Poor customer service made to feel like dumb girl
Just had my car serviced and the dash and car was altered with that I lost functions and cant get them back . Went back to get fixed and spoken to poorly like i was "dumb " and that just need to learn to deal with it.
Will get my car serviced else were from now as there was no attempt to try and appreciate my frustration or help me .
We bought our 2012 Honda Jazz second hand but decided to have it serviced by the original selling dealer. After regular log book servicing at Astoria Honda since 2014 we are very satisfied with their workmanship, customer service and value for money. The Service Advisors are all long term employees who are courteous but also very knowledgeable and helpful. The premises has a small but convenient waiting area with seating, newspapers, tea & coffee etc. Our car is always ready on time as well as washed and vacuumed.
2018 Honda Civic RS starting a problem
My Honda 2018 brand new does not start after the battery has gone fully flat after coming from holiday, I have contacted New World Honda in Berwick they're so rude and useless they will not help they want me to bring the vehicle in that's by Towing wasting my money when it's brand new vehicle I can't understand why they don't want to explain why it's not starting and try to find the problem over the phone they just want money like to help people after selling the vehicle this is a company I would not go to
Honda Recall Centre buyback process customer service is dreadful!!!
We have a Honda CR-V recalled for the buy-back process due to the risk of the Takata airbag inflator rupturing.
During our discussions with Honda, they advised us of three options going forward:
1. Honda's offer based on market retail price in January
2. Independent valuation by Pickles Auction, noting that this valuation will be last and final offer presented to us and if we proceed with this option then option 1 will no longer be available to us
3. Decline both previous options and continue driving vehicle (yeah real save Honda!!!).
Honda...offered us $2,400 plus $400 for personal transportation (as the vehicle is a ticking time bomb waiting to kill Australian families). The retail price of our vehicle if we were to sell our vehicle privately (noting, that if it did not have the Takata airbag inflator issue) we would be able to obtain an average private sale price of $3,100. The Honda buy-back process is an absolute scam that does not give Honda customers a fair go for being loyal customers of the brand...Honda has lost my loyalty and I will not be buying another one in my life-time and will be a strong advocate against this company due to our dreadful customer experience.
Worst Customer Care
We have had our CRV recalled for destruction and have been offered a lower than market price as well as not being duly compensated for the immediate loss of transport as we were told not to drive the vehicle at risk of death. Further to this we will end up thousands of dollars out of pocket to replace our recently serviced car with new wheels and suspension (all of which is not taken into account for the buy back price). We are disgusted with Hondas handling of this issue especially now knowing they have known of the deadly fault since 2004 and their has been deaths attributed to the fault since that date which could have conceivably avoided.
Bought 2 brand new Honda CRF110F motorbikes for 6 and 9 year olds for Xmas, both boys ride them in second gear with speed turned down half way, youngest son went over a little jump on our property came off the bike he got up didn’t hurt himself went to ride bike only not to be able to ride it as we looked at it the frame is bent underneath,we took it back and we’re told that they wouldn’t cover it as it isn’t a manufacturer defect,how can it not be with a 24kg child riding the bike in second gear ??. have been told cheapest option to fix it is to buy a new bike,WTH it is brand new it shouldn’t have happened that easy
Went in for a couple of service items as a parts buy.
Quoted almost 4 (Yes four) times what I can buy the genuine item from England. Almost fell over. That includes freight. I am a mechanic in the industry who gets trade prices. Found this actually quite offensive.

I recently traded my car in on a 2014 Mondeo wagon and was impressed with the professionalism demonstrated by Sam Young and team. After lunch, when I appeared with no prior notice, he facilitated the deal on the Mondeo which had only just arrived, including inspection, cleaning, paper-work, insurance etc. and I drove it back to Jurien Bay on the same day, with bluetooth tuned in courtesy of Sam. fraud and Cheating by Formula Honda
Formula Honda has nice formula to cheat customer, I have bought CRV from, salesman was [name removed], I asked about cap service, He confirmed me cap service will be in place for your car, then I have sign purchase contract, at day of car delivery, [name removed] given me papers that mention price $295 for next 10 services, and said me all set in systems. I have witness and papers too, which I have uploaded here. when went for first car service and asked about that I have been replied very rudely by service man and manager [name removed], tha...t we don't do cap services, they do tailored service, I am not concern that, I have been given advice that price won’t change By [name removed] than I have bought car, this is big cheating, when times comes to apply they raise their hand. So, they got nice formula to tempted ppl to buy car and letter on change it & do not accept, now they were telling they didn’t give me papers and saying if we give u papers then show us, that is again insulting. I have tried until today but [name removed] saying that show me papers, [name removed] here is attached. I will take my right things and taking further legal action for cheating & fraud. I kindly request all brothers & sisters of Adelaide please do not put yourself to formula Honda, there are plenty of dealer to buy your choice car, that is my moral duty to inform community so you will be not cheated by formula Honda. Until today with peace and respect I have tried to resolve it, but formula Honda keep their ego and doesn't do any reasonable action and try to say all time we didn't give you anything. I don’t have any choice but going further legal action. Please don’t allowed them to cheat you.
Purchase of Honda Civic Hatch - Salesman Josh Keats
The process of buying this vehicle was the smoothest ever experienced and Josh and his very professional team answered our questions without the 'normal' blurb.
The handover was both precise and adequate as we are not first new car purchasers.
Overall, an extremely tension free and pleasant experience for both my wife and myself.

Brighton Honda- HONDA Cars
I purchased a new CRV 2018. When I picked it Delivery guy was not professional at all, Given review to HONDA , no one cares. Sales man Lied while selling the car.
There is a noise when you brake. Not recommending this car to any one. Charges premium car price for 2010 technology no sensor even invoice says its got Im sensor , No idea what to do.
I was excited to buy this car, now dont even want to drive.
Torque Honda were Brilliant!
Most recently we purchased a second Honda CRVs & this time chose Torque Honda North Lakes. There is a guy there called Matthew Hawkes. Importantly he listened to what we required. Yes it was as we requested, a swift straight forward business transaction. We were happy with the price discussion & importantly, right until the end, the level of service from Torque Honda North Lakes was exceptional. If you’re buying a Honda in Brisbane, I recommend you consider Torque Honda for both price & service.
Southside Honda servicing overpriced
We’ve always had our Honda Euro serviced at a Honda service centre. The Cleveland centre were always reasonably priced and efficient. The Southside centre at the Gabba is very different. The last few services they have advised of the need to replace the alternator, need for new tyres and a new battery. We were told in a quite demanding tone that we shouldn’t drive the car due to the alternator. On leaving the service centre, we had the alternator checked by two separate mechanics who both advised it was fine and also that the tyres were still ok. Have not and will not go back to Honda.
Questions & Answers
I bough a brand new Honda HR-V (DMW90V) in April 2017 form Parramatta Honda. I have had a rattle noise from the rear of the vehicle since early days and have complained about it in scheduled services. The problem persists and I have wasted a lot of days in getting this fixed by visiting the service center out of turn. I do not think it is being given the attention it should and I have complained multiple times. Can you please take this seriously and help?
