Awful Service from Suttons Honda Homebush, don't buy from them
I purchased Honda CRV in 2016. At the time of purchase, there was a Honda scheme for 5 years new car warranty and roadside assistance on the vehicles.
Today 26 Jan 2018, I called Honda Roadside Assist on 1800 810 852 for my vehicle roadside assistance due to a puncture on left rear wheel tyre.
The Roadside Assist did not find this vehicle in the database by Registration or by VIN number. They have told me to call back on Monday. I understand public holiday in Australia wide but what about vehicle registration in their database for 2 year...Read more
s old vehicle. Now, you can understand if someone stuck in traffic at traffic light or lane in the middle with break down situation then it is important to help customer rather than worrying about details. This is very poor service from Sutton Honda when I called them, the General Manager of company advised me on the phone straight away to call back on Monday instead of listening to the problem. In the past this company trade as Larke Hoskins Honda and very bad experience in vehicle services. I would not recommend to buy any vehicle from this dealership just ruthless.Similar opinion? Misleading, terrible customer service from Wangara Honda. DO NOT BUY from them!
Purchased a demo honda CRV from Wangara Honda in October 2017, were served by their sale manager. When I asked him how long I had left for the rego, he told me 6 months remaining. Trusting his words, I signed the sale contract with the rego expiry date was left blank. After that, my bank required a tax invoice from Wangara Honda, so I gave them a call, were told that their sale manager were on leave and their finance manager can help with that. The finance manager clearly wrote that the rego expiry date was April 2018 on the tax invoice. By Dec...Read more
ember 2017, I received an invoice from department of transport stated that my rego was going to expire soon, confused and shocked I gave Wangara Honda sale manager a call. He gave me an unacceptable answer that it was 6 months remaining from June which ends by December ( once again I bought my car in October, why he counted from June?) He refused to take responsibility. Then when I mentioned about the tax invoice he said it was error from the finance manager. After many emails, he showed no interest to show the issue so I requested the dealer principal number. Then I got a call from the finance manager said that he was sick of and had enough of my emails (obviously ashamed of making his own mistake). He used the word like :" I was helping you", " and " I am going to give you an advice when you talk to the principle dealer"'. He was fully yelling and tried to intimidate me. I sent email back to the sale manager said that I was not impressed by his finance manager unprofessional behavior. Even more shocking, the sale manager told me that he was in the room and witnessed the finance manager's phone call to me. How disgusted the way they treated me. Once again I requested to speak to their dealer principal, then I got told that he was on leave and I will get a call when him back after a certain day. I was waiting after that date, but never got a phone call. I lodged my case through consumer protection. later on, I was told by the case officer that he had no luck to get in contact with the principal dealer either. He told me that the lady he spoke to said: this case was a retail case, too minor for the principal dealer to deal with. They kept putting him back to the sale manager who showed no interest to settle the case. Clearly everyone, this company is a joke. Their managers gave out wrong info, making error on a legal document, they were unprofessional by calling me, yelled and intimidated me over the phone, and finally their top manager was only interested in big issue and did not give a damn about retail customers which unfortunately most of us are. I will make sure anyone I know will NEVER buy car from them.Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

Sutton's Rosebery - stay away!!!!
Bought a new Honda HRV, usually they'll throw in floor mats and fill the tank full of petrol. I got below half a tank and was charged for the floor mats. I wasn't given my contract paperwork until an hour after I collected the car as I was first told they would email it, then I got a message saying they found it and come get it. They knew if I looked at the contract closely I would pull out or change finance providers at the minimum. Extremely sneaky tactics used. Another lesson leant the hard way sadly. Still going to speak to fair trading and st george about falsifying my documents to secure the loan. Do not purchase a car from them, they are smiling assassins.

Bought new but worst than used!!!
I bought Honda HRV $29,000 drive away from [name removed] at Sutton Honda Homebush on 22/9/2017. On the day of collection, I noticed there is cranking noise when turning the wheels on top of other complaints. I returned to get it checked a week later and was told the shock tower collapsed and parts has to be ordered from Japan - OMG!!! How can a new car have collapsed shock tower??? How can such car passed quality check to be sold as new??? 4 months now, there is still no news on fixing my HRV despite calling and [name removed]. Never get back...Read more
although said he would. I demanded full refund or new car replacement to no avail. Complain to Honda Australia was useless. I have lodged a complaint with NSW Fair Trading. This is so unacceptable. This was my 2nd new honda from same dealership. Their sales person service was bad when I bought my first car but i was very satisfied with the car. This time was worse, poor service and ending up paying new car for what it seem a car with many problems to fix and yet not rectified at first service. I demand full refund or new car replacement!!!!Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!
parts cost
Bought touch up paint from dealer . 15 ml. works out at around $ 15000 per litre. I know that profits are made via back door ( parts etc. ) but??? where does it get past a reasonable profit?

Honda sales promotion false
Bought a honda crv from wollongong honda dealer. TV advertising stated good deals during December but alas there were none by this dealer. Sales person stated his offer was only good for 1 day so I my accepted it. My husband wanted to go to Sydney Tynan Honda for comparison but I didn't. A week later realised should have done as they had better trade in and better selling price and option deals. Will never buy again from Wollongong Honda.

Disinterested salesman at Darwin honda
We were hoping to buy a HRV and went to Darwin Honda, only to find a very distressed salesman with his name starting with P. I got the feeling that he thought that we were not serious buyers and his attitude clearly showed this. He wanted us to deposit 500 AUD before he would negotiate on the price and complementary accessories. Without that he wasn't taking business. This was meant to be my 4th Brand new car and I have never been treated like this by any of the other dealers, including a Honda dealer in SA. Unfortunately the dealership choices are limited in Darwin and we gave up our hopes on the HRV and bought a Mazda

Continuous car damages
I had my steering wheel leather replaced at Sutton Homebush Honda under warranty and the trims were scratched. It took them 8 months to order the parts. Nearly every month I had to follow it up with them. When I had my car serviced my car was damaged at this dealers. They said the damages were there when I left my car for service and a car report had been filed which I had not sign to acknowledge the damages were there when I left my car. When my car was returned from this dealers repairer it was damaged again. Both repairs by the same repairer...Read more
were substandard with dust nibs, excessive paint, scratches and colour variation. During the second repair my steering wheel trims arrived and I had requested it to be replaced while my car was with Honda but they had not replaced it. I rebooked to have my steering wheel trims replaced and they said they ordered the wrong parts. They have caused continuous damages to my car and continuous inconvenience to me. This is what you get for being a loyal customer. Stay away from them.Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

Never go to Honda Macathur
They lied to us about the first service. They promised the first service would be free and whe we got there, 40km from home, they said it would be $284. The one who sold us the car no longer working there so there was no one that could prove their promise. I will never go to that dear again. They have no credits for their words

nightmare experience
I made 3 test drives for the same demo car before I decided to buy it. It looks clean, brand new, and drives smoothly and quietly. I made the contract and put deposit and I told the sales [name removed]: NO more test drive, I am the last person to drive the car, ONLY 48 hours, from Saturday afternoon August 19 to Monday afternoon August 21 when I picked up the car, the car totally changed -- dirty scarfs on the interior of doors, scratches in the boot, dirty seats and driving noisy.
I asked the sales [name removed], he found no words for it....Read more
Upon my strongly questioning, he said he drove the car to do the detailing, in reply I said: the detailing made the car even dirtier than before?! Then he said he himself did the cleaning!!!! So it is his responsibility for the changed condition of the demo car. 2 days ago he explained in the email said that the detailer came to Alto Honda Blacktown to drive away the car for the detailing. None of his explanations is convincing. I am so stressed and so upset with this dealer, it is a nightmare for me. I would like to choose a negative black star for this dealer. September 13th 2017 Update: Always dishonest When I went to Alto Honda Blacktown to purchase the Civic Demo car, I request pre-delivery checklist and full inspection report as this car was driven up to 2951 kms. The sales promised me that he will provide these 2 documents. But when I picked up the car, he said he didn't prepare the documents, instead saying:" Our mechanic has inspected the car, and all is good, you don't need the report. If you find any problem, just bring it back." When I drove the car away from the dealer car-yard, I found it is the wrong car. After inspection, my mechanic found the back bumper is popping up. He tole me: 2 reasons for that, one is it is a manufactured defect, the one is it is after accident. When I stepped out the dealer's office, I turned around and suddenly realized that it is a "BLACK" "TOWN". Never make any business with Alto Honda Blacktwon.Similar opinion? Terrible customer service
Today my new Honda accord 2017 is being sent to the repair shop for the third time after noticing that the car is shaking above the 100k/h which was not the case before the 1k service done at Capital Honda. Worst customer service!
I walked into the Suttons Homebush Honda dealership in the intent of being a serious buyer as I knew I wanted the new civic. I had to beg the sales person to give me a good deal and after opting for rubber mats and boot tray the sales person told me that in order to give me the Honda Civic vti-s for 26k he couldnt "afford" to keep a rubber mat ($99) and boot tray ($99). So he tried to take my extras off me which I said NO! Then I asked for a hire/courtesy car till my car arrived from shipment he said he couldn't do, I put my foot down and said ...Read more
he had too, eventually he arranged a huge family car for me a - young lady that had issues with it btw. After two days I changed my mind and wanted to upgrade from the Vti-s to the RS I told the dealer in person only to be laughed at and told incorrect high prices. I asked him whether they had any demo or used car and he said no. I was unhappy and wanted to storm out. So I did my research about the Suttons Honda used cars and found multiple cars available. It was a decietful act on his behalf to tell me he didn't have any which in fact they did. I contacted the dealer only to be given the run around, I called multiple times on my day off as I wanted that car. Eventually I just gave up and I went to the Suttons City dealership which has way better customer service. After I had secured the car I wanted I contact management at Suttons Homebush and complained the manager Raymond and Rinic took my experience seriously and they tried to fix it by then it was too late.Similar opinion? If you like sleazy 80's sales tactics, lying and contacting your bank to get your deposit back, look
Put a deposit down on a used Nissan Murano from Honda Alto Blacktown that I saw on carsales.
I was told the car was ready to go, and asked if I would to pick it up on the weekend.
I advised that wanted to get an independent inspection of the vehicle by NRMA, then what do you know, within an hour I get a call from Alto Honda telling me a few major issues were discovered with the car, and that it would take at least a week to repair.
After contemplating the likelihood of their story actually being true, I came to the conclusion that it was l...Read more

Excellent support
I recently had the symbol for a problem with one of my tyres displayed on the dashboard of my 2.5 year old Honda Civic. From the time I drove to the service centre, slightly stressed, at Southside Honda Woolloongabba late one Saturday morning and encountered a young man heading into the main office and asked him what I should do, I was treated with care, respect and great professionalism. I went back on the Monday because the symbol was still displayed after I had put air in the tyres. The attention I received was first rate. I had a third visit on the Tuesday at which time the mechanics finally resolved the problem. At every stage I could not fault the level of service and professionalism I received.

What a poor customer service
Homebush honda (suttons honda) has the worst customer service out of all the services I have received from my entire life. Especially the dealer [name removed], very rude, gave us a wrong information about the insurance policy, he was on his freaking phone half the time when talking to us, he didn't even bother telling us about the car... it was just very rude and tragic. The dealer also calls me up to ask if i can rate him and the company generously... lol like for real? I already told my friends and people around me not to go to homebush honda and here I'll let you guys know as well don't go to HOMEBUSH HONDA if homebush honda wants to regain or even gain a reputation they better train the dealers on how to treat their customers.

Never recommend
The worst customer service that we ever had at Homebush Honda. The car is fantastic quality but never ever recommend to anyone who wants to get cars with friendly and great services. Nobody didn't even apologise for their serious mistakes. Better go to other Honda dealerships...

Disenchanted by over charging - Loyalty is simply not rewarded
12 years we have been a loyal customer having two of our Honda cars, both purchased and being serviced by Ringwood Honda. Over recent years we have noted their charges increase substantially and each time the car was collected after a service, the service team would advise additional repairs required along with the cost involved requesting when we would like to book the car in. With the last service and when collecting the vehicle my wife was advised that over $3,500 of work is needed, that there is a safety issue here and these repairs were re...Read more
quired and when did we want to book the car in. Taken aback, we spoke to the service manager who supported these repairs were required and provided a slight discount. Still not happy with this situation we sourced a second and third opinion to verify the repairs were required and the cost. Of the issues suggested by Ringwood Honda two were bonafide and have been repaired for 50% of the cost quoted by Ringwood Honda. The other two repair issues were simply not required in the view of the other service centers. Interestingly a lot of the issues where these repairs were required also fell out of the warranty period. In speaking of this recent experience with friends and colleagues, there are many other stories where people have been exposed to dealerships over servicing and charging, In fact I understand servicing of cars is a major revenue and a very profitable source to dealerships. I get that you can always source a cheaper price and you get what you pay for, nonetheless trust is important as is knowing that you are being looked after and unfortunately it appears nowadays with loyalty you pay more. In future i will be obtaining second quotes and verification the services required are true.Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

No Dealership wants to honor Vouchers and extremely rude dealers!
Purchased a pre-owned Honda Odyssey 2014 which has Complimentary Pre-Owned Vehicle Inspection vouchers in its logbook booklet. I called and went to 2 different dealers close to my area, they talked to me like I am a begger or a scum and told me they are not aware of it so they are not going to honor it. What I did not understand, why would you be so rude? If no one knows it why add the voucher to the log book, waste my 2 hours and make me angry out of nothing?
Later I decided against the vouchers and decided to take the vehicle for a full s...Read more

Oh my god, Honda dealers are amazing in terms of their choice of customer service people or receptionists. You think I ask to borrow money from them, unbelievable. The Absolute Lack Of Customer Service Is Breathtaking.
Appears to be systemic throughout the entire company - dealers and corporate alike. After sales service & pick up was appalling and unacceptable. Service centres do not reply to emails re bookings and customer service non-existent, only rude and argumentative employees with no people skills at all. An absolute disgrace. Everyone needs to be retrained (or sacked). Will n o t be purchasing another honda (and they clearly do not care). Call centre / customer service staff entirely unprofessional, discreditable and reprehensible. Really, really stupid, arrogant people who clearly deserve the rotten feedback, judging by other comments.

Hi,
I bough a brand new Honda HR-V (DMW90V) in April 2017 form Parramatta Honda. I have had a rattle noise from the rear of the vehicle since early days and have complained about it in scheduled services. The problem persists and I have wasted a lot of days in getting this fixed by visiting the service center out of turn. I do not think it is being given the attention it should and I have complained multiple times. Can you please take this seriously and help?
