Purchased my Honda gen november 2019,march 2020 received recall for fire risk,another in may saying parts on the way.Rang Midland honda,boofhead i talked to very arrogant,said id just have to wait like the other 600 people wanting the same.Ive been sending nice emails to honda mpe asking when i can get recall done,they dont know but suggested i could still use gen.I asked if gen catches on fire would they replace it,haha yeah right.Wont ever buy anything Honda again,poor after sales,couldnt give a rats about customer after they get your money!Goodbye honda,hello YAMAHA.
Brand new out of the box. Ran it for about two minutes. Next day I stumble across the product recall, I rang Honda who had no idea when parts would become available and said I need to book it in from the shop I bought it from. I rang again asking them to consider my circumstances. Three weeks later the recall for the fuel tap fixed. Remembering I have to take this faulty unit back in my time and cost and again to pick it up. The unit has sat for around eight months with fuel additive, inside my house with a Honda cover on a Honda rubber mat.
