Biggest piece of Junk, they call that a Dryer, more like a Car Wheel Chock – We bought a premium brand such as Hoover as recommended by The Goodguys Only 21 Months old and still Under warranty " failed ", smoke and burning smell, mind you we estimated less than 30 hours use since new and well looked after, filters regularly cleaned etc Rang the GoodGuys, they referred us to their service agent in newcastle who took a week to come down, then went away to order parts, rang 3 days later to tell us they didn't realse it was a condensor dryer, even though we forwarded them a copy of the original invoice when we booked a service call. Their response, we cant help you.
Rang the good guys again, they referred us to the next service agent in Brisbane who said they cant help either, then referred us back to the Hoover 1300 hotline, who referred us to another agent at Tuggerah NSW.
They attempted to order parts but came back with not able to supply parts
Rang the GoodGuys back and they attempted to ring hoover Rep and 5 occasions with No Success
I loaded the POC ( piece of Crap ) into the back of the car, drove to the Goodguys and demanded our money Back
Goodguys Manager was Fantastic, understood the Frustration with the Hoover Dryer and Hoover after sales service ( non existant ) , gave our money back and we drove away with a New Bosch Tumble Dryer of decent quality
Moral to the Story
Don't buy a hoover, poor service, poor quality, no after sales service, cant get parts and most hoover dryers have now been withdrawn from the market.
