Does the hoover ranger have a hard reset function or button.

Hi Jono, This machine is able to be rest by holding down the power button for 3+ seconds. Regards, The Hoover Team

Hi, Our Ranger returned to base but does not seem to be charging. Light flashing but will not go out again. Any ideas? Its only a couple months old. Cheers

Hi Sean, We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your robot charging. The machine will need to be inspected to determine the cause of the issue. Please take the machine and charger into your nearest Godfreys store, with proof of purchase, to be booked in for further inspection. Regards, The Hoover Team

Hey Sean, Is the robot connected to your WiFi network? If so you can always check the charging status and battery state of the vacuum using the Hoover Ranger app. If it isn't connected to the network I'd suggest unplugging the charging base, turning off the vacuum (off switch located underneath dust bin) and powering it back on again. You may also need to sign out of the app, login again and add the device once more. Sometimes the device loses its connection to the WiFi requiring you to set it up again in the app.

I'd also check that the charging pins on the base and robot are clean and are making direct contact with each other. Hope this helps. Cheers, Luke.

Hi, Unfortunately there are no setting for the battery on this machine. There may be an issue with the PDC detecting how much the battery has left, we would recommend taking the machine into your nearest Godfreys store, with proof of purchase, for further inspection. Regards. The Hoover Team

Hi Star, The Hoover Ranger is designed to return to the charging base at 20% to ensure that it has enough battery to automatically go back to the charger - this is the way it is programmed and nothing to worry about. If the current cleaning job is incomplete due to low battery it will automatically resume when charged sufficiently. Kind regards, Luke
