HP DeskJet 2722
lack of transparency around membership costs
My partner and I purchased a printer from yourself, that we cannot use, because we were not aware of the membership fee involved in printing, we do not print very often and don’t have much money so we realised it is not financially suitable for use to pay for this member fee.
Additionally when we looked at the cost of the membership fee it stated that membership fee is normally $2 but because we print often we will have to pay $6 dollars. We have printed a total of seven pages since owning this printer, I do not consider seven pages often and f...

A complete waste of money
I purchased this printer to replace my old Canon printer. One reason for choosing it was the offer of free ink for 6 months. The first (of many) issues started at setup. It will not connect unless it is right next to my laptop. Apparently it doesn’t like some power points. Then it eventually connected, only to not connect next day. I then purchased a USB lead and connected that way. Then when trying to register for free ink (which involves setting up an account) I needed a code, which I didn’t have so rang HP and was provided one over the pho...
Read morene. Since then ( less than 2 weeks) this printer doesn’t like wifi and even has trouble connecting with USB lead. Then I see a message that I need to download another program called HP Print and Scan Doctor. Now, the printer won’t work without first running this diagnostic program. THEN, the scanner (which worked fine until it didn’t) isn’t available according to the message when I try to use it. Diagnostic program runs and says I need to download HP Print and scan software, which I already have and so directs me to app store. I have been round, and round, and round. I am going to try and return this. UPDATE I returned it to JB Hi-FI and received a full refund.Purchased in at JB Hi-Fi Retail Stores for $59.
Temperamental with glitches
Printer not connected error when printer IS connected! Won’t work on multiple devices without asking for passcode which is a complete crap! Private pick up error would not clear! Printer connected—- then not connected. There is a serious problem with this printer & I wish I hadn’t bought it..

Excellent support from HP.
My trusty HP printer of 14 years eventually died and based on the longevity of it I bought a HP Deskjet 2700 from Officeworks at Tuggerah NSW. It worked like a charm until I bought a new laptop with Windows 11 and then it repeatedly showed an "Error" message and wouldn't print. I contacted HP Support and was pleasantly surprised by the tenacity and patience of the various members of the team that worked on the problem. For 10 days they tirelessly tried a variety of methods to fix the problem. Then, after 2 weeks, Microsoft issued a Windows 11 update and the problems were solved. It was another Windows fault!!!! The help I received from HP Support was exemplary and a credit to the company. Thanks HP - No thanks to Microsoft.
Purchased in for $48.
