Good Nappy wipe
Been using these on my granddaughter and find they have a pleasant smell and are easy to use in their resealable packet. The only thing I find not so great is they are not really big enough and will take a couple of nappy wipes to get her clean. Have had no trouble with these at all
Purchased in February 2020 at Coles for $2.00.
Not my favourite
I feel like when I first started using huggies wipes - they were thicker and I didn't need to use as many as I do with new ones.
My pet hate is that SOOOOOO many come out when you just want one. The new Coles ones make it possible to just pull out one wipe at a time, I don't know why it's so hard for other companies to do this. I am often changing one handed (holding feet with other hand) and I just need one more wipe but I'll get 3 or 4.
I like the huggies containers though - they're useful.
Purchased in June 2018 at Chemist Warehouse Online Store for $5.99.
Love the coconut smell but the wipes it self are weak and tear easily. Packing is okay but when taking actual wipes out it’s very fragile which is not great when using on children.
Wipes do smell nice but are a bit too wet and having to squeeze out excess when using.
The product is not bad but the packaging is horrible
I bought a box of these wipes from costco the packaging is absolutely horribble... each pack is wripped from the 1st time use!!! Im very disappointed at this product ill never buy it again such a waste!!!! I threw out most of it because once the pack is open the wipes dries out and becomes useless
I tried huggies after using several different brands that I found unconvincing. While huggies are more expensive I found they are saving me money. Firstly, I can actually get one wipe out of the box at a time, rather than they all sticking together. Secondly, they are soft and moist and easily wipe off even the biggest poop explosion. The result for me is I use a lot less wipes and my child is happier because the change takes less time. I have actually managed to use one wipe for those huge poop explosions that used to take up to seven wipes. It's definitely a keeper.
Best wipes but too expensive!
These are the best wipes out there but too expensive! Thickness and wetness cleans bub well and no nappy rash encountered. Packs are easily closed to keep moisture in. Easy to pull out (encountered other brand wipes which get knotted together). However, cannot give more than 3 rating due to unaffordability.
I love Huggies products, I have used them with all of my girls, recently I purchased the Huggies simply clean and they have a horrible odor and they are dry. They don't leave my baby smelling fresh like the natural care ones. The worst part I purchased an entire box.
Thick but too wet
I used these wipes when my twins were newborns, they are quite thick and worked great at cleaning their bottoms but the further down the pack I got the more and more wet the wipes were. I found that I had to wring the moisture out of them, and if I didn't, they gave my babies nappy rash.
You get what you pay
Among all the brands that I have tried, this is one that has made nappy time bearable. The wipes are thick enough that wouldn't tear during pulling. The moisture is just right and comfortably soft for my bub's skin. It's easy to grab from the container. Sometimes though I experienced some of its components like thin threadlike materials being left in my bub's behind. And yes, it's not eco-friendly.
The good: these wipes have just the right moisture level, are a good size and the dispenser box makes it easy to grab them in a hurry. The travel case is convenient too.
The bad: they tend to 'pill' when wiping and can leave tiny bits of wipe on bub's behind, sometimes tear when being removed from the travel case (not the main dispenser) and are not Eco-friendly.
Thick and practical
Tried many brands of baby wet wipes and Huggies is the best so far: thick, gentle on the skin, easy to pull just one from the packet (with most brands you pull one out and end up getting 3 or more... When changing nappies it's almost impossible to have both hands free so that is very inconvenient plus you end up wasting them...)
You get what you pay for.
Used to be awesome. now just as bad as the others
cant comment on allergies as luckily bub is ok with anything, but can comment on quality. they used to have very thick big wipes that would do the job in one quick motion, no matter what the mess was. you'd only need a couple of them. maybe that was the issue? now (may-june 2-14) they have a "new" range, which is thin and terrible. you end up using 10 hen you only used 2 before, and end up with poop on your hands half of the time. very disappointing. will change brands.
the old ones
thin, bad quality
Good wipes, but hard to pull out of the pack at times!
I have been using the Huggies unscented wipes for a while now and for convenience, I have been buying the 80 pack. Love these wipes, no fragrance, delicate on bub's skin and they are quite thick which makes the cleansing easier (and I don't have to use too many wipes at once). They are a little pricey, but they do last quite some time. One thing that I cannot stand - sometimes it's hard to get a wipe out of the pack and it can be frustrating especially if you are a bit in a hurry! Sometimes the wipe breaks in half, other times it sticks to the ...others and you end up taking out 5 wipes at once. Not a big deal as it does not happen every time, but when it does, it's annoying! Thick, good for sensitive skin, large in size A little pricey, sometimes it's hard to get a wipe out of the pack easily
Good but there's better!
I stayed with huggies frag free for the first couple months with my newborn given they have great nappies so figured wipes would be the best. I was loving them (big size, nice design, little wastage in bulk pack with unnecessary packets when refilling huggies box dispenser) until I was gifted a box of another brand (curash frag free).. Then the flaws were highlighted - they are papery so often tear the corners trying to get out of refill dispenser and somehow the bulk pack disappears much quicker than curash so I must need more to clean up mes...ses (must be related to the glide of wetness). I've toggled back between both brands couple times when on special but won't anymore due to price - they are good but not my number one anymore. In my recent search for the ultimate but budget friendly wipe, unexpectantly woolworths select frag free is identical to huggies frag free as they are large, papery with similar cute embossed design - now I'd consider buying that instead as they seem the same. Large wipes, cute design Texture papery so can tear, expensive, go through pack too quickly
Does the job
We have used these since birth and I am happy with them. I am a bit surprised at some of the negative reviews on this site. I like that they are thick and that they are often on special so I will usually stock up on them. I would recommend them
