Don't buy it. Poor functionality, unreliable.

published

We were very happy with the older model "Intercept", so had the electrician install a further two, which were now this model, the "Intercept 2".
- The one has failed after three months
- The expensive batteries for the remote last less than a month
- It's usual to continue to operate the light using the normal light switch rather than the remote. However, this means that if one has turned off the light for the night at the switch, to turn on the fan during the night one has to first turn on the light. Terrible functionality, and this was not the case with the previous model.

Should the reversing switch on a Hunter Pacific fan require a small tool to be placed into the slot to reverse the fan?
