Hunter Pavers

They delivered the wrong product and then made resolving it unnecessarily difficult. I was told they could replace the pavers, followed by months of little to no communication. I was later asked to attend their yard to inspect replacements, only to arrive and find that there were no pavers to inspect, or even anyone to discuss A refund was eventually agreed to, but communication remained extremely poor. Calls regularly went unanswered and I had to repeatedly chase them just to receive partial refund payments. After months, the full refund is still outstanding.

Mistakes happen, but the way this was handled shows a complete lack of organisation, accountability, and customer service. Very disappointing experience overall.

We ordered 30mm marble pavers which took over five months to arrive, however they were eventually supplied. We also ordered 15mm marble tiles in this same order (August 2025) which never arrived. I have been in ongoing contact with [Name Removed] in Accounts regarding a refund of $2,037.20. On 5 February 2026 I was verbally advised the refund would be processed by 13 February 2026, and I also received email confirmation from Irene that it was being processed. The funds have still not been received.

In text correspondence, [Name Removed] advised that the business was experiencing financial difficulties and that he has 12 containers being held in customs and needs significant funds to release them from customs therefore requested additional time to process the refund. This is simply what I was told during follow-up discussions.

I have now lodged a complaint with NSW Fair Trading. If you are experiencing similar delays or refund issues, I would recommend contacting NSW Fair Trading to understand your options.

If you are considering paying in full upfront, I would recommend confirming stock availability and refund processes clearly.

At the time of writing, the refund of $2,037.20 still remains outstanding. I will update this review once the matter is resolved

Great stone – I approached hunter pavers for a premium off white travertine to do my pool surround. They had better prices than most Sydney wholesalers I enquired through. Got the best price, they also bullnosed the copers on site for me and organised delivery of 3 pallets with a forklift to my pool slab. Will use them again for future renovation stones

Really good quality pavers – I looked around for a while to find pavers for my pool area. Hunter pavers were the cheapest outside of Sydney and they had a large range. They also do have own bullnose machine there. I found a colour and size I liked and they helped me work out how much I needed, gave me a good deal and they were delivered within a week. The tilers asked me where I got them from as the stone was beautiful- they were so surprised at the price I paid, said it was a really good deal. I would definitely use them again.
