Excellent Lawn Mover
After getting tired of waiting for some one to come and do the lawns, i decided to get one after doing some research i zeroed on the Honda and the Hasqvarna. After looking at both the models and comparing prices and warranties i zeroed on the Hasqvarna, and to be honest the LC 18 that was recommended to me is just a little ripper, It cuts and mulches absolutely fine and it starts easily. I would recommend this product to domestic users who just wants an excellent lawn mover. For any one just starting to do their own lawns this would be an absolute delight.
husqvarna lc18 What a little ripper
My past mower was a mtd .I have been on the look out for a upgrade for a while and finally purchased the lc18 with mulching with it.So easy to use and push smooth quite and leaves the lawn looking like a little MCG.And the easy start what can I say I love it.Great vaule for money. There a truck load of rubbish out there thanks Husqvarna
Husqvarna Lc-18 Lawn Mower - Mcdonald Murphy Great Service Great Mower
Excellent all round lawn mower, if you are looking for a great mower , don't go past one of these the quality is excellent. smooth rolling , easy start and a mulching attachment that works like a dream.
McDonald Murphy , customer service was second to none, the staff couldn't do enough to assist in providing information and support.
Easy Start The quality is in the details solid construction and plenty of power
great mower and mulch
I was going for victa but as confirmed by shop the handle to body attachment seems flimsy as there is only one bolt holding handle to body. This over time I would believe would fail. Anyway the husky has a very solid feel even though I did have to tighten up the bolts further in the folding part of handle no big deal for me as I never need to fold these. Wife was impressed with the mulching results and I lived the easy push wheels. I read somewhere that people didn't like the height settings but there is about 8mm diff between the settings so i...t's fine for me. Engine seems enough for the 4 blades even though it did nearly stall mulching some heavy thick stuff But it didn't stall. big wheels and mulching good price folding handled has to be tightened so quick release doesn't work
Great for a domestic mower
I'm not a contractor, or someone who mows a lot. I've never had to buy a mower before now and only have a modest back yard at that.
To be honest I didn't know much about mowers before now, but did a lot of thorough research. I would have loved a Honda, but price tag too high for my requirements. Specification wise, this mower stacked up on paper, the price was fantastic ($519 with bottle of oil), warranty now 5yr & my local retailer (GYC Castle Hill) have a 60-day happiness guarantee, so what the heck; i went and got it!
Only mowed the l...awn once with it so far (in Mulcher mode) & performed great. Be assured if it gives me trouble i'll be back in pr.com to up date this post. Only area of concern is the spongy handle might wear away pretty quick, but comfortable for now. Mower shop recons there's a fraction too much play in the handle, but i didn't really notice it & certainly doesn't bother me. Thumbs up for now (10-Feb-14) Price; 160cc B&S OHC 4 stroke Engine; really easy to start/1-pull; big Wheels; good muffler/not-too loud; metal height adjust; mulch/catch option; quick release handle latches & folds away tight; looks IMO; 5yr wnty with $20 oil purchase; solid build & feels good. Not a lot at this stage; concern that foamy/spongy handle may wear out easily "maybe" (??); doesn't have safety cut-out handle leaver like Honda (but some people review that as a pain).
Questions & Answers
I'm not satisfied with the lc19ap husqvarna lawnmower after 3 days what can I do please
Mower is very hard to start, think it maybe spark plug but how do you get it out. Taken it into dealer three times. Starts well after they play with it but a week later hopeless. What can I do to improve starting?
Hi there Bruce
Mate - Starting has never been an issue for me, so I am unsure how to answer your question. Is the place you brought the Mower from a Licensed Dealer ? The Dealer in Petrie here is very good on the northside. Perhaps a phone call to them would help.
Just one thing, there is the little pump under the housing, do you do that around 5 times before starting ?
How do I remove the blades?
