Hi Jimmi
If you haven't change thermostat yet you may check it up and quickest option is to replace it. It's only $20 to buy it
Top up your coolant.if you check up coolant hoses nad it's not hot your thermostate is probably broken open and. Coolant running all the time and during colder days will newer gets hot so it can not provide heat in vcabin
I did repllace on my iload water pump thermostat e. Belt and all poolies and no problems at all. At 25000 keys
Good luck

I have just bought a 2018 iload. Some comments are scary, so im looking at getting the injectors seals replaced, 103km's. Anything else.
Also I see from comments (thankyou) the rear door switch is in the mechanism. Is there a way to 'trick' the car to think the door is closed when I have it open all weekend camping. The side doors seems to be easy. Regards

In 2010 model there is svich in cabin below stereo so you can disable back passenger light and rear cabin light
Also on rear light is swich with 3 positions so you can disable rear light

Thanks. I cant locate the cabin switch on the 2018 model. But that's Ok, rear light is cool. More so I am trying to trick the van into thinking the tailgate is closed so the dash light goes out when camping. Cheers

Looking at possibly getting a new turbo put into my 09 iload, it has clocked 287,000km on the board and hasn't missed a beat, I get it serviced every 10,000kms and it does lack power but still runs well, I'd like to get more time out of it but I'm not sure if I should go ahead with it and I was wondering what a fair price would be for the part, cheers!

Hello, my door open light (not the rear door) on the dash constantly flashes and there is a sort of clicking noise under the steering column (it doesn't click when stationary). I have disconnected all door sensors one at a time to check if it is a particular door, the noise and light continue. I imagine there is a box, of sorts under steering column with a snap connection? Could anyone help me locate that and can I disconnect it, buy another and reinstall?

Hi Rill, sorry I have never had this problem so I can't help you. Maybe a Hyundai dealer can help. Recently my middle real stop light stopped working and that was broken wires from rear door opening and closing over 11yrs of commercial use, so I got auto electrician to rewire.

Hardball

Yep.
Contacts on one of the doors are not making a connection. Maybe the doors need a little re-adjust to get them to seat properly. This sort of operation is best done with an air impact hammer but a home mechanics hammer type impact driver might undo the adjustment plate. Presuming they have adjustment. My van's still under warranty so at this stage I let others work on it.
Check those electrical contacts on the doors. A polish with some Silvo/Brasso on a chux might restore the electrical connection.

@Hardball thanks for the advise, I have today off so i'll get a chance to try the polish and possible re-adjustment.

Hi I have a 2008 iload and I can't get the bonnet open. I pulled the bonnet release but the cable is not attached to it, so I pull the cable but it doesn't pop. The bonnet does seem to be open slightly at both sides but it isn't open enough to get my fingers under in the middle part. I have tried jumping on the bonnet where the latch is but it just makes a twang sound and does nothing. We are in lockdown as I'm caring for my elderly mum and I'm trying to put my battery charger on so I don't have to drive it. Any ideas would be great, thanks.
