Bad

poor vehicle would not recommend to anyone for towing.not good on petrol, when towing and obviously has a faulth with overheating. Service centre states they have a high boil point 115 and just keep driving........wont risk it.

have a 2004 model highlander petrol. Only bought last year second hand....bad mistake. So far over $6000 in repairs. New Diff, radiator keeps bboiling but they cant fix the problem. Bought to tow a van with but cant tow due to overhearting. Show details

poor customer support from Hyundai

In Summary, poor customer support from Hyundai on what could have been their best. As a result would not buy another Hyundai, based on the customer Service
It has been a good machine up to the 180, 000 km. I have the Deisel verson
At around the 180,000 Km the fuel pump issues occurred. Hyundai consider it not a warrantry issue, even though it is a generally known issue. Very Poor Customer service from them and the dealer on that issue, even through the issue occurred straight after the dealer 180,000 Service. As it was a known issue, should have been fixed under a recall.

Good day. What was the diesel pump problem? How was it fixed? My Terracan battles to start - it seems as if fuel goes through pump back to tank, but only drops going up into the common rail. Thanks. Marius.

Good

For a SUV it is too flimsy and have doubt about road holding. Long distance journey is tiring. Handling part is very easy. Hyundai gives a good service backup
Easy to drive like a small car. Engine very smooth. Acceleration is like petrol engine.
It is not as solid as a Pajero. It goes like a rail engine,.
