Very happy with the way my phones work
I have a reliable connection, and the phone has not dropped out. Some teething issues when the phones were first installed were quickly resolved by the company who were very helpful. The phones have great versatility and amazing features to help us manage our business well.

When you call to speak to a customer service they ask identification questions and ask the issue then transfer to another person and they repeat the process and then they give you an incorrect telephone number. I have been assigned a person at the subiaco business centre and they refuse to transfer the call there. I have been with westnet for 18 years and it is now gone bad. I am sorry that I asked them to take on our 5 phone lines.
The service as been very realiable. I haven't used all the phones functions as my Husband and I have had health issues we are now back at work and will see what the phone call do for our Business.
I had drop outs this week but they have been fixed.
Set up can be a bit painful but otherwise good
Connection is good and we have not yet experienced drop outs.
Connecting the service was troublesome initially. We received 3 standard handsets for our office. Upon receiving them, we realised that we would need to cordless handsets instead. iinet sent the replacement handsets out, no problem and they arrived very quickly. The problem started when the box the replacement phones arrived in, contained instructions to ring TPG to get the phones up and running. TPG did try to help and I rung several times and spent several hours on the phone with ...
I can't give it more than 4 stars as only half the products are working
We are a small business of four and we chose iinet because they were the only company to offer all the products that we needed, being NBN internet and VoIP Telephone in the form of Bizphone.
No sooner had we hung up the phone after placing the order, iinet were excellent in communicating the order to us and the whole operation swung into action.
Within a week we had our NBN installed and we were up and running.
This was early in December of 2019
About two weeks after the installation of the NBN we received our handsets in readiness for our ...switch to the Bizphone. And that how it has been since then. The phones are on our desks un-used. It is now early February 2020 and we have had the phones (and paying for them) but our advertised phone numbers have not yet been ported over.
Excellent service and very competitive prices
The connection is good with very little interruption. When any issues arise the response is prompt and effective. Overall I have been very pleased with iinet and have no hesitation in recommending their service.
Great quality calls, easy to set up and managed
Small starting issues, but dumping our PABX saves us 900 a mth with better control over what we deliver to our valuable clients. Tommorow we say bye bye to ISDN :) and certain Telco monopoly, and a large bill for no real benefit
Excellent Transfer from copper wires
We are happy iiNet customers who wanted to change to NBN - an upgrade which would have made the copper wire telephony redundant. We have 4 lines and 12 handsets supplied by NEC and our equipment supplier recommended the iiNet BizPhone package and worked out how to connect it to our switchboard using ATA capabilities. Every step of the process worked as scheduled, within a very reasonable time frame and the quality of the NBN and Bizphone connection is excellent. This switch to the NBN connection is technically complex and I would recommend that...the equipment supplier be involved in the Bizphone connection - I think it saved us major headaches and stresses. I also want to thank Necall (in Perth) who support our NEC equipment for managing the migration process so efficiently and competently.

Country Insurance Broker Office setup
With 7 phones on our office network the Biz phone works well. (One NBN line only , 7 phones ,12 PCs, 5 networked printers all getting steady use each day.. An 8 port hub at each work station finds its way to a central 8 port hub & finally ALL into our internet supplier modem /router.
The simple system works very reliably.
Occassionally the phone system fails to transfer a call & may drop out.
Perhaps once every couple months we disconnect the phones & re-boot them.
One phone is cordless - we are in process of replacing it with a standard ...
A Great telephone system, from the best Telco in the business.
It can take some time to work through all the features of the BizPhone via the manual. However, the very helpful and always courteous iiNet team are available to step one through any difficulties encountered.
Moving to a new provider when contract is expired.
Every time we ring, we speak to someone else.
Language is a major barrier to explaining issues.
Minor changes or fixing issues, become major issues that take twice as long to resolve.
Instructions for any issues become very complicated and always ask us to refer to the manual/guide, which is very detailed and not easy to read.
Absolutely no problems with this service. Since switching to iinet from Telstra I have really enjoyed my online connections and phone service. Couldn't be happier. Handsets are good, remote one have great battery life.

The people who answer the phones have a great attitude, are polite and positive and actually do what they said they would do...not rare but nearly unheard of these days!
Our business has been with them for just over two years
We only had to contact them I would say less than 5-6 times and always get someone who knows what hes talking about and invests as much time on the other end of the line till issue is resolved

Ongoing issue for over three months
I initially, in August, had a problem with our work telephone number being ported over to another company with out my permission. They mistakingly ported our phone number instead of our fax number. It took 3 months for this to be apparently resolved and ported back to us even after getting the ombudsman involved. In the meantime our patients, whose health is at risk with not being able to call us, and new patients were not able to contact us. This of course has also affected the business itself. Now, last week, an issue with people on the Telst...ra network not being able to get through (getting a message that said this number is invalid)but others could. Several phone calls to iiNet later and not resolved. Now, this week, people on the Optus network cannot get through either. This is so frustrating and completely ridiculous that this can happen and not get resolved on an urgent basis.
AWFUL service. Avoid this provider
Our business recently (a month and a half ago) moved to a different physical location where we had to change from an analogue line to an NBN service. In the meantime, we have requested all calls from our analogue number to be diverted to a temporary NBN number created by our new provider until the number is finally ported. From the day iinet diverted the number a large number of callers have not been able to make contact with our office and when they dialed our number they received: "this number is out of service" notification. I have been in c...ontact to ask for assistance from iinet literally dozens of time, spending hours on the phone waiting for someone to clarify the situation and resolve our problem. Apparently Telstra had found a fault and claimed to have rectified it - but they did not. The issue had been escalated on several occasions and upon my request iinet were asked to ring me back and they never have. I've only ever been given excuses and apologies. When I requested to make a complaint to a manager - i got a familiar: "She is unavailable and will call you back" and as per usual nothing. This lasted over a month until finally the phone number was moved and our problems disappeared. We have lost tens of thousands of dollars in business as a consequence of iinet's incompetence and indifference and when I rang to inquire how iinet will be compensating me for the trouble you've caused - I received more apologies and a $40 something refund... I asked for a new invoice to be emailed and even that was not sent to me as requested. Instead I received an SMS to warn me that if I do not pay the bill (that I never received) my account will be suspended. iinet should be ashamed of themselves. You don't deserve my business and I will be moving to another company as soon as I can find a service provider that suits us.
I have been a customer with iinet for many years in my business, and have had no problems. However, in the recent past I had a problem with emails that could be neither sent nor received. The service I received from a member of the team was nothing less than spectacular so I can recommend iinet to anyone wanting the same experience!
