Do Not Fall for it

I committed to this unit for more than two months yet never had one moment of services. I am being charged monthly despite no one can tell me why my services will not activate and work. we have tried tirelessly with so many different agents and tech from iiNet [Name Removed], [Name Removed], [Name Removed], [Name Removed], [Name Removed] etc etc doing hard reset after hard reset, speed test after speed test, swapping cables after cables, rechecking connection time after time. no one knows yet no one seems to care

Worst customer service I have ever experienced

Were given phones that don't work. Have tried to call a number of times and am put on hold for over an hour. I've sent countless emails to the rep I was dealing with in the beginning (who was quick to respond when they wanted my contract) only to not receive any responses. Don't really know where else to go from here except perhaps the Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman.

I experienced intermittent dropouts and reported to iinet, they had an NBN tech out the next morning who repaired a line fault. The system is now running at full speed. I received 2 call backs from support to check that all was OK. I have stuck with iinet because the technical service is consistently good. Show reply

Terrible Service

Given little notification of mandatory switch to NBN for business including phones (VOIP). Advised would be seamless but then closer to date of switch notified that NBN not to office. No option to organise cabling at this time. No solutions offered. Calls not answered, 4 calls to iiNET in one day to get office phone diverted to mobile so that we still had a phone service and still no joy. Last call hung up when over an hour on hold. Terrible customer service, don't bother

Terrible support

Terrible support, slow to connect service, always on hold to overseas support staff. Never call back when they say they will. Was told service would connect in 5 days, connection took over 2 weeks.

Bad test......!

I just receive already my new simcard , but one thing really shock me its the black frame around the letter who really look like an obituary notice!!! Please change this, an orange or blue line will look much better !!!!! Sorry its a really bad test!! Im very surprise by this lack of test from a great company like yours !!

You get great results

Contacted iinet about dropping the phones & 1 line but keeping 1 line for their email/internet. Told me the price reduction & that I had already paid off the phones & modem. Great, simple contact! Show reply

Great option

Bizphone made moving employees to working from home easy

I don't want to imagine how difficult transitioning employees to work from home would have been without our Bizphone system. The customer service is easy to access, friendly to deal with and work hard to fix any issue we present. Show reply

flexible and multifaceted

The hardware works very well but VoiP in general are notoriously hard to use for phone banking due to highly unreliable connectivity. Fine for calls on the whole as dropped syllables are easy to guess. There are multiple micro drop outs in these phones unlike copper wires but since the technology is here to stay in Australia and the telecomms owners have no intention of reinstating the copper (shame!), we all have to adapt. BizPhone itself is an excellent piece of office equipment and the tech support is fast and very reliable with iinet. I highly recommend iinet and BizPhone for small business even though I am not a fan of internet for telephones. Show reply

Poor helpdesk

Poor help desk support, multiple phone numbers, long wait times, no following their own protocol given to me after sign up completed. No personalised followup. Very disappointed. Starting a withdrawal of contract.

What a difference this has made

Since having an iiNet BizPhone installed I have had no issues or problems at all; the connection is stable, it functions perfectly and managing the features (including call forwarding) is a breeze.
The help desk has also performed magnificently the very few times I have needed them - prompt, polite and knowledgeable at all times. The savings and fixed monthly cost have made budgeting easy, far superior to a traditional landline with variable costs.
I would not hesitate to recommend this service to anyone.  Show reply

Smooth Sailing

User friendly
Strong support from IINet.
Very easy to install and use. We had a small hiccup re Voicemail but that was sorted out very quickly. Highly recommend this product & IInet

customer service is terrible

The internet drop out 2-3 times daily, the speed is very slow. The phone line isn't working at the moment. I called 4 times already to resolve the issue, but no result.

Worst customer service

Whatever you do, do not go with iinet. The PHone was canceled 9 months ago, I received an email confirmation and they are still calling us to cancel the phone. Call support service, they hang up on you. So do not recommend.

Came ready to use as iiNet BizPhone listened to my needs and set the system to my specifications, then we just tweaked the system as we got used to the functions! Happy customer

I was very uncertain about installing a Biz phone in our business because we rely on our our phone for all appointment and inquiries, but now am happy to have made the change over - except for one thing: as we are without a Receptionist since Covit19 accessing missed calls is vital to our business and the iinet /Bizphone accessing system is cumbersome - multiple codes to access the message and then some which do not always work (e.g. after one or two uses of Code 8 "callback" or code 7 "delete", the code just doesn't work and when you have to get through 10-20 calls that is very annoying! Show 2 replies

I am a rusted on iiNet believer

Mine is set and forget system

iiNet is my internet NBN server since forever... and we recently thwarted an internet hack attack

Yesterday I received a strange email asking me to pay my last bill which is on Credit Card auto payment

First time in 21 years and I have been with the same bank and server ... using the same credit card

It did not "smell or look" right. So I phoned the iiNet accounts support dept to check it out

I was quickly put through to their iiNet security dept.Sure enough.. a hack... so their experts set about blocking the source of that hack.

Phone service works well. NBN 47 down 18 up

It is reliable but the different accounts are confusing. There should be one portal for everything. I got a bill some of which I was not expecting so was disappointed with that Show reply

Trouble shooted and service

iiNet and Internode call centre staff got the phone and internet working after much faff from the previous ISP internet+phone supplier.
Very supportive with fantastic service while dealing with problematic and difficult move from ADSL to NBN.

made the switch to biz phone

I would make sure you have compatible phone system 1st, porting may take some time, but iinet are not in control of the time frame due to covid I was advised. make sure you have your phones diverted to a mobile for starters to allow time phone my phone guys to do their bit, my business line was saying disconnect for about 12 hours, took a couple of phone calls to iinet to get this sorted. whilst it was not as seamless as I thought, maybe I was a bit naïve, but it was a long term decision and investment so I am a happy camper now Show reply

The worst VOIP experience possible

Appalling porting process. Completely hopeless communication from porting team. After getting through an entire day of glitches, we discovered that iiNet BizPhone couldn't support the change over from virtual fax through our previous provider! Had to change back to the previous service. Never again!

BizPhone via ATA works well

iiNet customer service is the best I have come across in 3 decades of dealing with telecos. They recommended their ATA Bizphone option which allows me to keep my existing analogue PABX. We are a small office and don't need anything more. The ATA works well, call quality is the same as our previous PSTN lines. Show reply

This product is excellent for our business

The Bizphone is reliable and easy to use. The menu is simple and easy to navigate.
We even moved it to home during the COVID-19 shut down and it allowed our employees to work from home. IINET technical support is also excellent. I fully recommend IINET and its products for business and for home. Show 2 replies

Excellent advice

I was struggling with what service to use for our office phones and initial attempts to contact others to get an idea of what might be on offer were frustrated by lengthy waits for an answer until I called iinet. The quality of the phone advice was high and I returned after trying others to find iinet good time after time to attend to questions. I did sign up and the service and guidance was excellent and they rang me to check on my progress and to give instructions on an next steps to get set up. Again service and attention to the detail has been excellent. I can totally recommend them for advice on the internet and phones. Show reply
