One of the best plastic bowl ranges you can buy for babies and toddlers as they are extremely affordable and you get a good amount for just a couple of dollars. I find that I can always locate these at Ikea easily and they do last for a while, and do not scratch as much as other childrens cutlery ranges out there. Definitley worth the money in my opinion.
Come in a great range of colours, easy to clean, only cost a few dollars and will last for a long time. Perfect for putting in baby food or snacks.
There is none.

Best bowls ever! They are the perfect size for babies and children. We have 2 packs, a dozen bowls, and they go through the dishwasher every day and they just keep on going. They perform so well in hot and cold conditions. We have frozen goods in them, and have them in the microwave often. The biggest problem we had was the fight over the one pink bowl, so we went back for the second set, and that has work out well and there are now no fights, and we are not running out!
cheap,perfect size
only one pink in a pack!

These are easy to find in IKEA and they really are a good bargain buy when you consider you get quite a few and they don't cost much at all. Very hard to fault them.
These bowls are so cheap and come in a range of bright and cheery colours and they are so handy for little babies. They come in good sized packs and wash really well. The bowls are a good size and can also be used for snacking bowls.
They do get a bit scratched after a while but that is unavoidable with them being plastic.

love these bowls. ours have been microwaved, dishwashered, dropped, played with, had spag bol in them and they are still going, no stains or melting or anything like that. they are cheap as chips, brightly coloured so the kids are likely to eat whats in them (thats the theory anyway!!). if you lose them its no drama, as they are only $2 for a packet of six. great value!
they are very cheap, around $2 for a packet of six. bright and colourful, durable too. we have had a set for over 2 years and they are still going strong.

They enjoy having a little set of matching things - plates, cups, bowls, cutlery and helps them enjoy feeding time. They are dishwasher safe which is very important - I even use them in the microwave on low heat to warm up left overs for the kids dinner! Fantastic!
Just the right size for little meals for children. Easy for them to manage to get the food out - high sides to avoide spills.
If used with metal cutlery they get quite scratched - am onto my second set now and being much more careful to cut up the food before I put it into the bowl.

Part of a larger plastic cutlery and crockery set, these bowls are just the right size for all the different stages of early childhood - from feeding a baby their solids food to serving up dessert for a pre-schooler to outdoor eating with the picnic basket.
Brightly coloured, non-breakable, dishwasher friendly, and very economical, these Ikea kids bowls are a fantastic and an essential item for every kitchen which serves food up to littlies.
Nothing - however availability is an issue and I wish that there was more than one Ikea store in Victoria as the current store is difficult to get to.

Can the Ikea Kalas bowl and plates be steam sterilized?

Here is answer from Ikea : "the maximum temperature the KALAS bowl can take is up to 100C and 70C for dishwashing. As the bowl is made of polypropylene plastic, we would not advise steam sterilizing due to the end-effect and nature of the temperature range which is between 120C - 130C."
