Very Comfortable Mattress at a Very Good Price – We have had the Sultan Fidjetun mattress for 3 years now. My daughter only sleeps on it when she is home from college during the summers, so it has only had a total of about 9 months of nightly use. I slept on it the last two nights. It is very comfortable. We have it supported by a sheet of plywood on the single bed frame. I think it is a great mattress for the money. comfortable, reasonably priced

very good, firm enough to support any rolling turning. good for back – I used Ikea sultan fonnes mattress for a month now. its just right in terms of firmness. I am back sleeper, so its firm enough to support. from day 1 i woke up with a better feeling back. I put this on top of a beatyrest mattress which is little softer so this even it out. No more back stiffness when i woke up. Just right firmness, for the price its great. edges could have been better built. but for the price its great.

Ikea Sultan Fidjetun Double – I bought this matress about two weeks ago. I chose it because it is "plush" comfort, not very firm. It comes in a bag, rolled, in vide, easy to carry in the car. The Problem is it has a very strong smell. Being made out of polyurethane it keeps the chemical smell. The bedding sheets took the smell, my body smells in the morning. I would never buy it again! comfort "plush" not very firm smells

Great for the price, but – I was on a budget, and I needed something that was going to be, as they say, "a bang for the buck". After scouting out the usual stores (brick, sears, leons, sleep country, and some obscure mattress and furniture shops around town) I decided to visit the ikea. And my the store just gave a vibe like nothing i've felt in my life, but that's not what we are here to discuss. So anyway, the usual suspects had expensive mattresses, like $499 and above. To be honest they weren't even that great, until you start looking at the ones that cost 4 figures, then no argument they are the best.

So in ikea, I looked around at the spring mattresses and then the latex (pretty expensive, but if money wasn't the issue, it would be latex all the way) Then i came across the memory foam ones. I was fairly impressed. I tested out the Sultan Florvag, Sultan Fonnes, Sultan Fidjetun, and the Sultan Finnvik.

The Sultan Florvag isn't worth the $169 (for the double) price tag, heck I wouldn't even pay $50 for it. I lay down and felt the wooden board beneath me. The Sultan fonnes, Is about $30 cheaper than the Fidjetun and the Fidjetun has memory foam, while the fonnes just has foam. The Fonnes didn't feel nearly as great as the fidjetun. There I lay on the fidjetun, fairly impressed with the comfort, and support it gave my back. (im only 24, and suffer no back issues, but i do know when something feels good on my back) I lay there for a while, people actually came and asked if i was awake (no word of a lie), Back to the point, it was really good mattress, and was a steal for the price. A double cost me $249. The Sultan Finnvik is just the better version of the Fidjetun and its easier to pronounce. Its a litte pricey but its worth its money, again only if money wasn't as big of an issue as mine. Its way more comfortable and way more thick.

So the great thing about the fidjetun is that it comes rolled and pressed so its easy to carry and easy to put int he back seat of my 1999 Honda Accord.

An issue that first crossed my mind was how thin this mattress is, its literally like 6 inches, But it holds its own, at least for the 2 weeks i had it. I cant feel my box underneath. Keep in mind it needs some support like a box or wood or something, it cant hold its own against a thin frame. When I first got it it was kinda flattened out, but it got it shape back in a few days. It also smelled like chemicals, only when u had it in a closed room, not too strong but faint. So far its amazing, very comfortable sleep. better than the spring mattress I had before, which i purchased for $299. I wake with no back or neck discomfort at all. The mattress cover is also removable and washable. Im satisfied, wait till I get more money and Ill be back for you Finnvik, inexpensive, Comfort, easy transport from purchase, light weight, bendable, 25 year warranty, 90 day "sleep on it" return policy, chemical smell, looks thin, warm temperature exuding from the mattress, white cover,
