Timing Chain replacement not covered - wording in policy misleading
Subaru said our timing chains needed to be replaced. We called Integrity to double check this would be covered under our policy and were told it would be, just needed to have a quote done and sent to Integrity for approval. Found out today our claim was rejected under grounds that the fault is normal ‘wear and tear’. We were under the impression the Subaru timing chains are designed to last the life of the engine. We only bought the car (and warranty) 7 months ago and have already replaced the clutch & DPF at our expense - we were understanding of this. However, very shocked and disappointed with Integrity’s decision today. Definitely won’t be recommending anyone purchase this warranty in the future.
Deny cover engine part failure
We broke down 6 hours from home and had a dealer organising the repair when they told us that Integrity do not cover EGR valves. The EGR valve is part of the engines emission control system as it feeds combustible gas back into the engine. The EGR valve has failed as it's stuck open and causing malfunction of the engine and transmission which are both covered. The age of the vehicle points to a breakdown / failure not wear and tear. This vehicle is low age and kilometers and has been serviced as per the required schedule by integrity. We are bo...th health care workers and now have difficulty getting to work as the car is stuck in Cooma and we live in Sydney. We made it to the dealership in Cooma and then organised our own transport home. I find it outrageous that this claim has been denied when a young vehicle 2015 Ford Mondeo was purchased and advised to get peace of mind with a integrity warranty. I understand consumable parts however EGR valve is not what most consider consumable at $1700. Very disappointing as all service criteria had been meet.

After a couple of days young lady by the name if [Name Removed] chased up my warranty claim n had a satisfactory result the young lady in question went above n beyond true customer service at its best thanks [Name Removed] great great work on behalf of integrity
Paid over $8000 for a car through a dealer, purchased extended warranty. 18 months later, no car. Warranty wouldn’t pay first claim after 5 weeks saying parts wasn’t covered. 18 months later oil has engine filings in it, need replacement engine. $5600 later. Refuse to cover because I only did the manufacturers service, not the six months service. Do it get ex warranty they are not with it.
If I could give zero stars I would
Had a service on my car and was advised by my mechanic that the radiator was leaking and advised to have it replaced. Contacted Integrity re this. After providing all the required documentation was in formed by them that a radiator is not covered under this policy (even though policy clearly staes that it is).
They informed me that it was "fair ware & tear" !!!!
What a waste of money this policy is. Buyer beware, dont touch INTEGRITY !!

Be very careful thinking you have peace of mind if you have a warranty with this company. I wish i read the google reviews on this company before we made the decision to go with a "promo" and fork out an extra thousand dollars to extend from 12 months to 3 years.
Have only had the car for 3 months, broke down, needing repairs and lodged a claim, refused in less than 12 hours. Fuel pump apprantly covered by warranty, although our faulty fuel pump isnt. Go figure.

Bought a car 1 month ago from dealer. Had 3 year warranty with integrity starting 28/9/2020
Check engine light came on so had it diagnosed by specialist. EGR valve needed replacing, as the car had no power and wouldn't accelerate. They cover engines, but said wasn't part of the engine. Even though it is connected to the engine regulates temperature of the engine and controls efficiency of the engine...
I could just tell they were trying everything to avoid honouring their end and to get me off the phone..
Inside cover of their warranty says.... "This warranty has been designed to provide you with protection against unforseen mechanical failure of your vehicle" Well had the car for a month and it doesn't accelerate or respond when driving. So yeah its unforseen...

Integrity Car Care have no interest in assisting their customers and will do anything to avoid covering repair costs. Since purchasing my vehicle and extended warranty I have had three major issues with my car including an engine sump leak, engine misfire and a recommended alternator replacement. Before even speaking with the warranty company I was warned by the warranty companies mechanic that they rarely accept responsibility for repairs. At first, they declined covering repair costs of the engine sump leak as it fell under general wear. They...then declined covering the costs of replacement parts to resolve the engine misfire, stipulating that although all engine faults are covered that mine are not due to being considered serviceable parts. The final incident which pushed me to lose all faith in the company was when I was declined cover due to my car service being overdue. I was clearly informed on purchase of the vehicle that I was required to have my car serviced every 6 months or 10000km. Following the direction of both the mechanic and car dealership I have proceeded to have my car serviced every 10000km rather than 6 monthly. I was very rudely informed that the warranty brochure states in brackets (or whichever comes first) which apparently removes all responsibility of the warranty company. I experienced awful customer service to the point that the customer service representative was speaking so loudly over the top of any questions or discussion points I tried to get across that I needed to ask him to lower his voice and stop being argumentative. It is very evident that this company invests very heavily in carefully wording their warranty booklets with so many loopholes and endless fine print that the list of repairs/parts which are actually covered becomes minimal at best. When mentioning to the service representative that it should be more clearly worded that 6 monthly servicing is imperative to receiving cover, I received a very condescending response that it was very clearIt worded and that I had simply not read it properly. I am disgusted with the professionalism of this company and at this point, $3000 down from repairs would definitely recommend avoiding business with them at all costs.

it not worth to get this warranty as they never approve your claims. and they will give all sorts of reason not to payout. total waste of time and money. And when i asked them to refund my money as i still have 24 months left on it, there reply was they don't give refunds back on the purchase. for me its total waste of money. Absolutely disgusting. Stay away from this company at all cost. So disappointed.. Cannot believe an Australian company would rip off people's hard earned money, especially during this unprecedented time... Bought our Mazda 3 from Toyota Canning Vale and got a top tier 5 years extended warranty as we thought we got a good deal. After a couple months the reversing camera stopped working. As it only happened periodically we thought nothing about it. Until recently, it's been happening more and more often, so we thought we should get it checked. Br...ought it to their approved repairer only to find out that it's not covered by the warranty. The mechanic stated that it's a faulty camera or wiring (ie. not due negligence) but the company flat out rejected the claim (didn't even give us a reason). I'd understand the rejected claim if the problem happened due wear and tear or negligence, but this is not!! $2000 just went down the drain. I'll be sure to tell all my clients not to go with this company.

Bought a used car from a dealer and got 5 years extended warranty as you do when getting a used car paid 3k for this warranty only to find out that it only covers you for certain things. I needed 4K worth of parts within the first service of owning the car called up this mob and they wanted nothing to do with it all the parts were “wear and tear” I had to fork out everything my first Ever service why bother having warranty when nothing is covered? another time when I really needed warranty to help was just this week my turbo went called this mo...b up told them my situation gave them all the paperwork for the things I had to pay on this car only did 2 services on it got a reply no sorry your claim is dismissed as you went 2k over on your service tried to explain because of COVID and not being able to give up work and take it to a machanic in time but wanted nothing to do with it. I had to fork out another 3 grand for a turbo I have waisted so much money on this car and for what no help from this mob. Now they have cancelled my extended warranty I have lost everything and trying to keep my head above water to support my family. Do not use these people save the money because you will need it later!!! this mob doesn’t care about your circumstances all they care about is the money they get from you!

While the policy appears great on paper, they continue to refuse to follow their own terms, twisting the words of mechanics so that it suits exclusions on the policy. Even components explicitly listed on the policy aren't safe, as they have managed to decline my claim for an AC compressor failure. Extremely long waits for any kind of reply, I certainly wouldn't hold my breath.
So disappointed by a rejected claim. Total waste of money. :-(
Do NOT take out this insurance under any circumstances. This company will do everything it can to NOT grant claims made under their insurance. We live in a remote part of far north Queensland and they were incredibly unhelpful and unsympathetic and refused our claim as our km's were slightly over on ONE service for a non-serviceable item. Our insurance is now apparently completely void unless we pay for a new safety inspection and other requirements, making the insurance more expensive and our request for a claim payout non-viable. Thanks for nothing :-( Extremely disappointed.

Very disappointed - declined claim
I took out this policy because the car dealership recommended them. I bought the 5 year policy due to the favourable review from the dealer. I had my oil replaced 6 monthly instead of 12 monthly because I want the best for my car and never tracked it or did anything mechanically cruel to the car. I did more than what was required from they policy. 1 year in, I put a claim in after the mechanic said there was a crack in the turbo manifold and needed replacement. When I contacted integrity, they said the manifold wasn’t covered (but a turbo is). ...The ironic part is that you can’t replace the turbo manifold without replacing the turbo - they are the same component! They wouldn’t offer anything towards the repair cost! Extremely disappointing and have told the dealer not to recommend this product in the future to other customers. The only positive I can say is that their customer service is fast to respond.

Was told that my warranty is currently inactive because I let my Ute go over the service requirements by a small bit.
They then told me that in order to reactivate my warranty I need to get yet another service, a safety check and also fix the problem with my Ute that originally started within the service period.
They will do anything to weasel out of paying. Stay away from them.
And no doubt I will still get a response to say “please contact our disputes resolution team” which is what they always say. Let me spare you the hassle of ringing them as they are absolutely useless!

Do not go with these guys! They are absolute sharks and don’t care about their customers!! You have minimal chance that your claim will get approved, they will find every excuse in the book to not cover your claim! I will never be purchasing an extended warranty again after my experience with these guys!
