Yes Internode are the best internet service people because they are run as the company they were after the
Well its been a dream run, after over 12 months of perfect connection, I have dropped out twice in a 2 week period, But both times have been due to a power outage , Not internodes problem.
Stop looking this Company the Best never any issues across the board.
I tried the big companies tried to get connected hopeless weeks and weeks wasted.
A friend referred me to Internode and I have Never looked back.

Inflexible with minor request
I have always had good customer service from the people working on the IT support line. My internet drops out whenever I stream a movie. I don't stream very often. On my most recent call involving this matter, after a fair amount of troubleshooting, no resolution was found. I was asked to change the cable in the phone line to see if my internet speeds would improve. The suggestion being that the backend speed is faster than the speed I see when I run a speed test, so that the cable may be damaged. I do not have a phone and do not have spa...re cables. I was told I could buy a cable for a couple of dollars. Given the Stage 4 lockdown in Melbourne and my inability to go to the shops, I asked if Internode could send me a cable. My current cable was installed by the technician when I first opened my account, about 2 years ago. It sits in a location that is out of reach and it doesn't get handled, so I am assuming the cable given to me has always been faulty. Internode were not willing to send this cheap part. I was very disappointed. I have been a great customer and always treat the support team with respect and patience. I will use the weekend to decide whether I will stay with this provider or move to another. Very disappointed!
overseas service centre
I am having a problem with an outage of my ADSL service that has been going on for a few weeks. The service centre in the phillipines gives terrible service. They have operators who are unable to communicate in english and in trying to understand what is happening I have to get a supervisor. Today's example was terrible, no refund for lack of service and when I demanded somebody the woman hung up. Surprise surprise I didn't get the email from internode requesting my ranking of the service which is a shame because I would be asking for minus star ranking.
best isp that I have had
had this service for many years now, they have always been very approachable,
very good speeds, no dropouts. download speed of 47 Mbps and upload speed of 17.23 Mbps.
very fast, very reliable, very affordable. recommend them all day long.
Useless and of no assistance at all
We moved into a house that was a new build. We had been internode customers at our previous place and had been pretty happy with them up until this point.
During the sign up process, they provisioned our ADSL at the address of the original dwelling, which had been demolished and not the address of the unit we bought which took it's place.
This became apparent when we had to log a fault and a telstra tech told us the address was wrong for our service. Internode assured us that this would be corrected, and it was updated on our bill, but not on ...

I signed up for an ADSL connection with Internode in January 2015. During the next six weeks, I made 7 requests in an attempt to get the internet connected. It was a nightmare.
Eventually I managed to get the internet connected. I had already paid them, so I requested a refund. This was not granted so I went to the Ombudsman. Internode refused to honour the request, and instead of refunding me cash, put a credit on my account.
Over the next 5 years, my internet was down for between 3 and 4 weeks each year. Each time, I would call and reques...t that they resolve the issue. Sometimes they sent a tech out, but not before I had got a landline phone (remember them), plugged it in, sat on the phone for ages. At the end of it all, they would agree to send a tech. The speed was always lower than expected for the area and they never addressed it. They never offered a refund for the downtime. The straw that broke the camel's back was in 2020, when the internet went down in March. I called and requested support; they did not fulfil their promise, and the internet was down for 3 weeks. It was time to leave.
Unable to contact support department
My internet has been cutting out periodically after ~10 minutes for 30 seconds to a minute each time.
I have attempted to call their customer support link 4 times now, each time I get met with complete silence after their automated routing tries to connect me to a person. Really was not expecting this, I have heard their customer support is great, kind of shoked by this.
Excellent no fuss service
10 years, time goes. The Internet service has been almost faultless. when there was an issue, the 'over the phone' fixes has been permanent and hassle free. Well done Internode.

Internode is unreal!!!
Wow! I have been with Internode for more years than I can remember (since 2010).
My reviews about them started with extremely positive feedback, then years later, cracks started to appear through to today where their rudeness, greed and lack of loyalty finally lost me!
I was inquiring about upgrading to NBN.....simple, Eh!
I currently have a capped 250GB ADSL2+ plan of which I only use a third of the allocation.
I also currently have a Fetch Box - so an Internode bundled unlimited data with an optional deal with a fetch box is of absolutely NO...

Internode/iiNet still no. 1
Internode has patiently stood by me through an onslaught by hundreds of phishing emails, has found the cause, has guided me through setting up the replacement password. I rate it no. 1, for quality of service and staff. My Internode ADSL-NBN has been problem-free from setup 2 years ago. My late partner and I have been satisfied with Internode/iiNet for more than 25 years, and found no reason to change.
Comparison of email time delays with Internode compared to Gmail.
452 - too many recipients received this hour has been very common. "Internode address not found" is not unusual when I send an email from my Gmail account to my Internode account. Between June - August I had several email contacts with managers who kept on telling me there were no delay problems. In 2018 and 2019 I carried out comparative transmission tests by getting a few people to send the same email at the same time to my Internode and Gmail addresses (hopefully attached). I have had two groups who send out batch emails to about 50 people ...refuse to send any to Internode because of regular bounces. I think the 2 attached results tell their own story, and the only reason why we have not moved to another provider after about 16 years is because of the number of places and people who have both my and my wife's email addresses, and that my business has the Internode address too. We knew the man who originally set up Internode and for many years the service was very reliable and the technical support in the earlier days was superb. I have had the occasional contact with technicians in the last couple of years and they have been as helpful as they can, within the constraints of higher level management parameters.
They used to be good, now I didn't even get a reply to a sent message
Our broadband connection used to good excellent. As of recent time there were numerous dropouts as well as long periods of time where we had no internet. Spoke to numerous people on the phone, had techs come out. Nothing was fixed. I wasted a lot of time. I ended up changing to another provider. I also sent them an email I never received a reply to. Ontop of this I was still being charged a full rate for a service I was not receiving. I was also told the dropouts were due to my modem. I subsequently bought a new one and it still didn't fix the problem. I rated two stars as it used to be good.
Poor network routing
Since TPG have bought they do things like routing via japan for us routes. I passed this feedback on before I left but it fell of deaf ears. Sad as internode still have some very good staff.
I highly recommend aussie broadband for a network and support that internode had 10 years ago.
Great Service & Value
Have been with Internode for a long, long time. Have never considered going elsewhere because of the quality service and the reliability of the connection. Have compared my experience with friends and colleagues with other providers and will always recommend Internode.

Internode only start to listen after TIO is involved
Internode is not the same after TPG take over.
DNS randomly fail to work.
Usage report is delayed or not available.
PING time to US site become very slow (it is TPG now)
What worst is when I call Internode billing to tell them to cancel my plan, the guys keep telling me to pay for two more months service fee.
Once TIO is involved, no more nonsense.....
Good as gold.
My dad put me onto internode well over a decade ago. Excellent service 24/7 from oz, Canada and South Africa. No English challenged experts. Excellent value with no thoughts of moving.
Always count on Internode for reliability
Our experience with Internode has always been a positive one. The connection is reliable.
Any discussions with Internode staff have been helpful and they provide great advice.
Our family are extremely happy with this particular provider.
It is great to do quick online searches.
Dropouts occur mainly in the peak periods, otherwise we don't have any issues.
When we were setting up the system there were a few questions I had for tech support. The issues were dealt with promptly and in a very professional manner, using simply languages helped me to understand what I needed to do.
Poor Service - no responsibility
ADSL in Warrandyte has never been good but for the last 6 months it has been not fit for purpose. Internode with their wholesaler Telstra has denied responsibility of the constant drop outs and speeds less than 1MB/s. Instead they pointed the finger to my internal wiring. After paying hundreds of dollars to get the internal wiring fixed the issue is exactly the same which points to the Telstra infrastructure. The last support call I logged, Telsta blatently lied on the ticket saying they came out and fixed it when they did nothing of the ...sort. Internode seems powerless to do anything about it. I recommend finding an ISP who actually fixes issues and does not try to avoid all responsibility. Shane - Internode customer for 25 years but not for much longer.
