Excellent product, but improve delivery
Excellent product. Have been using it for a year and have reordered more for the extension. But watch out for timely delivery. The blinds take two.months to delivery from when you order but the first order was late by a month and a half and the second order by a week. They were very prompt in sending me free temporary paper blinds when they found out about the delay. Very professional people to deal with, but they need to manage the delivery part better.

excellent experience, the only way to buy blinds
Having fitted most of our windows with plantation shutters we were very impressed with the quality and the service provided by iseekblinds. Ordering on line was very easy and installation was even easier. You read these reviews and think they are made up....but I am the real deal and the the blinds are excellent. Even when when shutter had a broken panel it was replaced quickly and again easily fixed.

Great shutters
The iseekblinds were so much cheaper than all other quotes we received, they were super easy to install and they finished off our bathroom renovation perfectly. We will be using iseekblinds again for our next project'

Shutters are more cream in colour than white
Ordered two white express shutters to finish an ongoing renovation and was a little disappointed that the shutters are more cream in colour than white. These cream coloured shutters really stand out against the freshly painted white architrave. We had other white shutters fitted by a local company 12 mths ago and these shutters are a nice bright white colour. Iseekblinds shutters overall are good quality and come at a great price however just be aware that if your house is mostly painted white than the creaminess will stand out.

Plantation Shutters - Not a 5 star experience
Well, what an experience this has been. Ordering 10 x Plantation Shutters in April 2013 for more than $3,000, I am only now in October satisfied with the product I received. To say that we had issues, with our 1st order, would be an understatement. Running overtime to deliver in 13 weeks (8 weeks was advertised), half the delivery not arriving, snapped and broken frames arriving, and then chipped and flaking joins, over-spray and generally poor quality of shutter - I had had a gut-ful and made my thoughts known on this very website.

Read morener than my review went online, I received a call form the Managing Director of iseekblinds - [name removed]. He wanted to travel to NSW Hunter Valley and personally inspect the blinds we had received. No problem. Some days later, he arrived with camera in hand and inspected the blinds we had received. He promised to remake the whole order and was not happy with the quality of the original order, as well as refunding our delivery costs and offered to have a professional installer come back and remove/re-install the new blinds free of charge. Whilst I was happy with this offer, we were told that blinds were only taking 5 weeks for manufacture (at that point in time). No such luck, even on our 2nd time round...... We had the new set of shutters arrive 11 weeks after our agreement was made. Due to some delays on our side and the installer's, we now have the 2nd set installed and the quality is definately much better, but not without it's own set of flaws. The new set of shutters don't seem to close up as well and let more light through, but the quality is much improved over the 1st set. The installer happily removed the old set, even though I was told to order a skip bin if I wanted them removed, so that was a bonus! The main reason we went with iseekblinds was due to the high quality, positive and glowing reports on this website. All I can say, after all the problems and time wasting:- Beware what you wish for. They are lovely things to look at, but I can't help but think I should have just bought a venetian blind from a local outlet and installed them. Yes, they would not have looked as impressive, but the worry, angst and disastisfaction might have been avoided. As stated in my first review (since removed) - Remember that not everyone's orders run smoothly, are well made and arrive on time....... Food for thought..... I would say if you want a stylish shutter for your home, but might not care how long it takes, or if the quality may not be 100%, then go for it. If timing and quality are really important, then I would suggest that you contact [name removed] (the owner and driving force of this business) and speak with him personally beforehand, as he will be able to advise you about any delays and turnaround times.1 comment

Thank you for allowing me into your home to inspect the shutters and your patience whilst I organised the full set of shutters to be remade and then professionally installed. As the owner of a small business I take full responsibility for all aspects of our business and since your experience I have employed two staff over in China to inspect all our shutters prior to them being boxed and have a very strict guidelines in place regarding the quality of product that I and our customers expect. Also I have engage our own drivers to deliver our shutters through NSW so we can avoid transport damage.Burnt-TwiceAU

Great Venetians
A few years ago I replaced aluminium venetians on 6 windows in the house through another supplier.
When one got damaged I couldn't remember which online supplier I used, so through some searching came to iseekblinds.
Product is very nice, well manufactured and fitted perfectly. Luckily I could use the existing clips rather than install from scratch.

Terrible service, long delays, incorrect order. I did a lot of research into online blinds and looked at reviews and decided on iseekblinds but I want to warn people that the blinds are made in China so there is a looooong delay in blind arrival. 72 day wait for blind. They cut the wrong size so had reorder which took double the delivery time. They don't go out of their way to fix problems. I would have thought an express delivery would have been arranged due to them cutting the wrong size but this didn't occur. I was asked to take photos...

Hi, I have more of a suggestion than a question. I have had a number of orders for Shutters, and all have been fantastic, and they look GREAT. However my suggestions would be, that for long drop shutters during delivery the frames should not be joined at the corners with the Hoffman keys inserted. During transport the larger packing boxes flex and break out the Hoffman keys. Luckily with mine the Hoffman keys had just enough bite to hold the frame until I screwed the frame in. Just a thought for Quality Control. Cheers John

Thanks for your suggestion. We are always looking for ways to improve the packaging and help our customers achieve the best outcome possible.
It does help to keep the components for a single panel in one box, but I totally understand your point and the last thing anybody wants is for the shutter to arrive damaged.
