Nothing but trouble
This machine has been nothing but trouble.
It is made out of cheap materials that break easily.
It is very unpredictable & not a machine that you can count on to be working properly all of the time.
I would not recommend this machine to anybody.
I would not buy this machine ever again, it's not worth the time nor the frustration that it comes with.
Good For starting out
Ive had this machine for 3 years now. I went into the store and they recommended this one to me. Its got enough strength to stitch through thick materials (ive pushed it to the limits, and it has performed every time). I've made quilts on it, clothes, bags, curtains, and practically every thing else. It has a nice straight stitch and comes with loads of extra feet, which is fantastic! Its very user friendly and comes with a fantastic manual.
As I get more and more into quilting however Its not keeping up with me. I would love it to have a lar...
This is my first sewing machine. After much research this is the one i chose and have been extremely happy with it. It comes with every feet i could possible need, including the walking foot and 1/4" foot for quilting (these were a bonus accessory that normally isn't included), the machines goes through many layers of thick fabric like denim with ease. It's quiet, smooth to feed, and very easy to use. The instruction book is also comprehensive. Although it doesn't have a speed control slider on the actual machine itself, the foot control has a ...little button that you can switch from "low" and "high" speed which i have found very useful. Overall this is such a fantastic machine. I also got it on sale for $399 so it was a bargain. Very user friendly Only thing it doesn't have which would have been nice is the needle up/down feature. The hard cover doesn't fit as snuggly as i would like it too.
This is a terrific machine for anyone from the beginner to the regular and experienced sewer. I had my old Elna for 20 years and upgraded to this 6 months ago. I haven't looked back. I've made leotards, dresses, tracksuits - using a variety of different fabrics and I've hardly sworn at it at all! I would recommend it in a flash, as I would the guy who sold it to me, who offers as many insructional classes as necessary. (Doncaster Sewing centre in Tunstall Square)

I love this sewing machine.
I got it as a christmas gift and its been fabulous.
I really like the blanket stitch, such a great stitch for childrens projects.
very self explanatory. When you change stitches it tells you the reccommened stitch length and width to use. of course you can always adjust them.
Great all round domestic machine.
easy to use and understand. Tells you the setting you should have for each stitch, very hand feature for the beginner.
good storage compartment

Great machine for all sewers, especially the beginner due to ease of use.
Sometimes when it goes on sale, it comes with a quilting foot.
Overall a user friendly machine.
I got this for christmas last year and i just love it. Very user friendly, easy to understand. Has a great variety of stitches including a blanket stitch. It tells you the reccomended width and length settings whichi is handy for beginners.
I find if i use materials like microfibre, that after a while you need to clean out the bit where the bobbin sits in.
Wish the free arm was narrower.
